15 Baka masabi ninoman na kayo'y binautismuhan sa pangalan ko.
16 At binautismuhan ko rin naman ang sangbahayan ni Estefanas: maliban sa mga ito, di ko maalaman kung may nabautismuhan akong iba pa.
17 Sapagka't hindi ako sinugo ni Cristo upang bumautismo, kundi upang mangaral ng evangelio: hindi sa karunungan ng mga salita baka mawalan ng kabuluhan ang krus ni Cristo.

15 so no one can say that you were baptized in my name. 16 (Yes, I also baptized the household(A) of Stephanas;(B) beyond that, I don’t remember if I baptized anyone else.) 17 For Christ did not send me to baptize,(C) but to preach the gospel—not with wisdom(D) and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
