38 But if anyone still disagrees—well, we will leave him in his ignorance.[a]
39 So, my fellow believers, long to be prophets so that you can preach God’s message plainly; and never say it is wrong to “speak in tongues”; 40 however, be sure that everything is done properly in a good and orderly way.

38 But if anyone ignores this, they will themselves be ignored.[a]
39 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, be eager(A) to prophesy,(B) and do not forbid speaking in tongues. 40 But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly(C) way.
