¹³ For we were all baptized by^[a] one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and we were all given one Spirit to drink.^(A)

⁶ But when you pray, go into your private room, shut your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.^[a](A)

Ministry in Galilee

¹⁴ Then Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit,^(A) and news about him spread throughout the entire vicinity.^(B)

⁸ But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”^(A)

¹⁸ And don’t get drunk^(A) with wine,^(B) which leads to reckless living, but be filled by the Spirit:^(C)
