Benjamin’s Descendants
8 Benjamin(A) fathered Bela, his firstborn; Ashbel was born second, Aharah third, 2 Nohah fourth, and Rapha fifth.
3 Bela’s sons: Addar, Gera, Abihud, 4 Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah, 5 Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram.
6 These were Ehud’s sons, who were the heads of the families living in Geba and who were deported to Manahath: 7 Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera. Gera deported them and was the father of Uzza and Ahihud.
8 Shaharaim had sons in the country of Moab after he had divorced his wives Hushim and Baara. 9 His sons by his wife Hodesh: Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam, 10 Jeuz, Sachia, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of families. 11 He also had sons by Hushim: Abitub and Elpaal.
12 Elpaal’s sons: Eber, Misham, and Shemed who built Ono and Lod and its villages, 13 Beriah and Shema, who were the heads of families of Aijalon’s residents and who drove out the residents of Gath, 14 Ahio,[a] Shashak, and Jeremoth.
15 Zebadiah, Arad, Eder, 16 Michael, Ishpah, and Joha were Beriah’s sons.
17 Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber, 18 Ishmerai, Izliah, and Jobab were Elpaal’s sons.
19 Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi, 20 Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel, 21 Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath were Shimei’s sons.
22 Ishpan, Eber, Eliel, 23 Abdon, Zichri, Hanan, 24 Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah, 25 Iphdeiah, and Penuel were Shashak’s sons.
26 Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah, 27 Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zichri were Jeroham’s sons.
28 These(B) were heads of families, chiefs according to their genealogies, and lived in Jerusalem.
29 Jeiel[b](C) fathered Gibeon and lived in Gibeon. His wife’s name was Maacah. 30 Abdon was his firstborn son, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Nadab, 31 Gedor, Ahio, Zecher, 32 and Mikloth who fathered Shimeah. These also lived opposite their relatives in Jerusalem, with their other relatives.
33 Ner fathered Kish, Kish fathered Saul, and Saul fathered Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Esh-baal.[c]
34 Jonathan’s son was Merib-baal,[d] and Merib-baal fathered Micah.
35 Micah’s sons: Pithon, Melech, Tarea, and Ahaz.
36 Ahaz fathered Jehoaddah, Jehoaddah fathered Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri, and Zimri fathered Moza.
37 Moza fathered Binea. His son was Raphah, his son Elasah, and his son Azel.
38 Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were Azel’s sons.
39 His brother Eshek’s sons: Ulam was his firstborn, Jeush second, and Eliphelet third.
40 Ulam’s sons were warriors and archers.[e] They had many sons and grandsons—150 of them.
All these were among Benjamin’s sons.

6 ¶ And these are the sons of Ehud: these were the chief fathers of those that inhabited Geba: and [b]they were carried away captives to Manahath,
7 And Naaman, and Ahijah, and Gera, he carried them away captives: and [c]he begat Uzza, and Ahihud.
8 And Shaharaim begat certain in the country of Moab, after he had sent [d]away Hushim and Baara his wives.
9 He begat, I say, of Hodesh his wife, Jobab and Zibia, and Mesha and Malcam,
10 And Jeuz and Sachiah and Mirmah: these were his sons, and chief fathers.
11 And of Hushim he begat Abitub and Elpaal.
12 And the sons of Elpaal were Eber, and Misham and Shemed (which built Ono and Lod, and the villages thereof.)
13 And Beriah and Shema (which were the chief fathers among the inhabitants of Aijalon: they drave away the inhabitants of Gath.)

30 And his eldest son was Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,
31 And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zecher,
32 And Mikloth begat Shimeah: these also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, even by their brethren.
33 And [g]Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and [h]Esh-Baal.
34 And the son of Jonathan was [i]Merib-Baal, and Merib-Baal begat Micah.
35 And the sons of Micah were Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz,
36 And Ahaz begat Jehoaddah, and Jehoaddah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri, and Zimri begat Moza,
37 And Moza begat Binea, whose son was Raphah, and his son Eleasah, and his son Azel.
38 And Azel had six sons, whose names are these: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: all these were the sons of Azel.
39 And the sons of Eshek his brother were Ulam his eldest son, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
40 And the sons of Ulam were valiant men of war which shot with the bow, and had many sons and nephews, an hundred and fifty: all these were of the sons of Benjamin.

6 These are the sons of Ehud, who were the heads of the fathers’ houses of the inhabitants of (C)Geba, and who forced them to move to (D)Manahath: 7 Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera who forced them to move. He begot Uzza and Ahihud.
