Benjamin’s Descendants
8 Benjamin(A) fathered Bela, his firstborn; Ashbel was born second, Aharah third, 2 Nohah fourth, and Rapha fifth.
3 Bela’s sons: Addar, Gera, Abihud,[a] 4 Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah, 5 Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram.
6 These were Ehud’s sons, who were the heads of the families living in Geba and who were deported to Manahath: 7 Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera. Gera deported them and was the father of Uzza and Ahihud.
8 Shaharaim had sons in the territory of Moab after he had divorced his wives Hushim and Baara. 9 His sons by his wife Hodesh: Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam, 10 Jeuz, Sachia, and Mirmah. These were his sons, family heads. 11 He also had sons by Hushim: Abitub and Elpaal.
12 Elpaal’s sons: Eber, Misham, and Shemed who built Ono and Lod and its surrounding villages, 13 Beriah and Shema, who were the family heads of Aijalon’s residents and who drove out the residents of Gath, 14 Ahio,[b] Shashak, and Jeremoth.
15 Zebadiah, Arad, Eder, 16 Michael, Ishpah, and Joha were Beriah’s sons.
17 Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber, 18 Ishmerai, Izliah, and Jobab were Elpaal’s sons.
19 Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi, 20 Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel, 21 Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath were Shimei’s sons.
22 Ishpan, Eber, Eliel, 23 Abdon, Zichri, Hanan, 24 Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah, 25 Iphdeiah, and Penuel were Shashak’s sons.
26 Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah, 27 Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zichri were Jeroham’s sons.
28 These(B) were family heads, chiefs according to their family records; they lived in Jerusalem.
29 Jeiel[c](C) fathered Gibeon and lived in Gibeon. His wife’s name was Maacah. 30 Abdon was his firstborn son, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Nadab, 31 Gedor, Ahio, Zecher, 32 and Mikloth who fathered Shimeah. These also lived opposite their relatives in Jerusalem, with their other relatives.
33 Ner fathered Kish, Kish fathered Saul, and Saul fathered Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Esh-baal.[d]
34 Jonathan’s son was Merib-baal,[e] and Merib-baal fathered Micah.
35 Micah’s sons: Pithon, Melech, Tarea, and Ahaz.
36 Ahaz fathered Jehoaddah, Jehoaddah fathered Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri, and Zimri fathered Moza.
37 Moza fathered Binea. His son was Raphah, his son Elasah, and his son Azel.
38 Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were Azel’s sons.
39 His brother Eshek’s sons: Ulam was his firstborn, Jeush second, and Eliphelet third.
40 Ulam’s sons were valiant warriors and archers.[f] They had many sons and grandsons—150 of them.
All these were among Benjamin’s sons.

8 Depois que Saarim se divorciou de suas esposas Husim e Baara, teve filhos na terra de Moabe. 9 Hodes, sua esposa, deu à luz Jobabe, Zíbia, Messa, Malcã, 10 Jeús, Saquias e Mirma. Todos esses filhos foram chefes de clãs.
11 Husim, esposa de Saarim, deu à luz Abitube e Elpaal. 12 Os filhos de Elpaal foram Héber, Misã, Semede (que construiu as cidades de Ono e Lode, com seus povoados), 13 Berias e Sema. Todos eles foram chefes de clãs que habitavam em Aijalom; eles expulsaram os moradores de Gate.
14 Aiô, Sasaque, Jeremote, 15 Zebadias, Arade, Éder, 16 Micael, Ispa e Joá foram os filhos de Berias.
17 Zebadias, Mesulão, Hizqui, Héber, 18 Ismerai, Izlias e Jobabe foram filhos de Elpaal.
19 Jaquim, Zicri, Zabdi, 20 Elienai, Ziletai, Eliel, 21 Adaías, Beraías e Sinrate foram filhos de Simei.
22 Ispã, Héber, Eliel, 23 Abdom, Zicri, Hanã, 24 Hananias, Elão, Antotias, 25 Ifdeias e Penuel foram filhos de Sasaque.
26 Sanserai, Searias, Atalias, 27 Jaaresias, Elias e Zicri foram filhos de Jeroão.
28 Esses foram os chefes dos clãs, conforme listados em seus registros genealógicos; todos moravam em Jerusalém.
A família de Saul
29 Jeiel,[c] pai de[d] Gibeom, morava em Gibeom. Sua esposa se chamava Maaca, 30 e seu filho mais velho, Abdom. Os outros filhos de Jeiel foram: Zur, Quis, Baal, Ner,[e] Nadabe, 31 Gedor, Aiô, Zacarias[f] 32 e Miclote, que gerou Simeão.[g] Todos moravam com suas famílias, próximos uns dos outros, em Jerusalém.
33 Ner gerou Quis.
Quis gerou Saul.
Os filhos de Saul foram: Jônatas, Malquisua, Abinadabe e Isbosete.[h]
34 O filho de Jônatas se chamava Mefibosete.[i]
Mefibosete gerou Mica.
35 Os filhos de Mica foram: Pitom, Meleque, Tareia e Acaz.
36 Acaz gerou Jadá.[j]
Os filhos de Jadá foram: Alemete, Azmavete e Zinri.
Zinri gerou Moza.
37 Moza gerou Bineá.
Bineá gerou Refaías.[k]
Refaías gerou Eleasá.
Eleasá gerou Azel.
38 Azel teve seis filhos: Azricão, Bocru, Ismael, Searias, Obadias e Hanã. Todos esses foram filhos de Azel.
39 Eseque, irmão de Azel, teve três filhos: o primeiro se chamava Ulão, o segundo, Jeús, e o terceiro, Elifelete. 40 Todos os filhos de Ulão foram guerreiros valentes e arqueiros habilidosos. Tiveram muitos filhos e netos, 150 ao todo.
Todos esses foram descendentes de Benjamim.

The Genealogy of Saul the Benjamite(A)
8 Benjamin(B) was the father of Bela his firstborn,
Ashbel the second son, Aharah the third,
2 Nohah the fourth and Rapha the fifth.
3 The sons of Bela were:
Addar,(C) Gera, Abihud,[a] 4 Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,(D) 5 Gera, Shephuphan and Huram.
6 These were the descendants of Ehud,(E) who were heads of families of those living in Geba and were deported to Manahath:
7 Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera, who deported them and who was the father of Uzza and Ahihud.
8 Sons were born to Shaharaim in Moab after he had divorced his wives Hushim and Baara. 9 By his wife Hodesh he had Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malkam, 10 Jeuz, Sakia and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of families. 11 By Hushim he had Abitub and Elpaal.
12 The sons of Elpaal:

22 Ishpan, Eber, Eliel, 23 Abdon, Zikri, Hanan, 24 Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah, 25 Iphdeiah and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.

28 All these were heads of families, chiefs as listed in their genealogy, and they lived in Jerusalem.
29 Jeiel[b] the father[c] of Gibeon lived in Gibeon.(I)
His wife’s name was Maakah, 30 and his firstborn son was Abdon, followed by Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner,[d] Nadab, 31 Gedor, Ahio, Zeker 32 and Mikloth, who was the father of Shimeah. They too lived near their relatives in Jerusalem.
33 Ner(J) was the father of Kish,(K) Kish the father of Saul(L), and Saul the father of Jonathan, Malki-Shua, Abinadab and Esh-Baal.[e](M)
34 The son of Jonathan:(N)
Merib-Baal,[f](O) who was the father of Micah.
35 The sons of Micah:
Pithon, Melek, Tarea and Ahaz.
36 Ahaz was the father of Jehoaddah, Jehoaddah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri, and Zimri was the father of Moza. 37 Moza was the father of Binea; Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son and Azel his son.
38 Azel had six sons, and these were their names:
Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
39 The sons of his brother Eshek:
Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second son and Eliphelet the third. 40 The sons of Ulam were brave warriors who could handle the bow. They had many sons and grandsons—150 in all.
All these were the descendants of Benjamin.(P)
