Descendants of David

3 These are the sons of David who were born in Hebron:

The oldest was Amnon, whose mother was Ahinoam from Jezreel.
The second was Daniel, whose mother was Abigail from Carmel.
²The third was Absalom, whose mother was Maacah, the daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur.
The fourth was Adonijah, whose mother was Haggith.
³The fifth was Shephatiah, whose mother was Abital.
The sixth was Ithream, whose mother was Eglah, David’s wife.

⁴These six sons were born to David in Hebron, where he reigned seven and a half years.

Then David reigned another thirty-three years in Jerusalem. ⁵The sons born to David in Jerusalem included Shammua,^[a] Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon. Their mother was Bathsheba,^[b] the daughter of Ammiel. ⁶David also had nine other sons: Ibhar, Elishua,^[c] Elpelet,^[d] ⁷Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia, ⁸Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet.

⁹These were the sons of David, not including his sons born to his concubines. Their sister was named Tamar.

Descendants of Solomon

¹⁰The descendants of Solomon were Rehoboam, Abijah, Asa, Jehoshaphat, ¹¹Jehoram,^[e] Ahaziah, Joash, ¹²Amaziah, Uzziah,^[f] Jotham, ¹³Ahaz, Hezekiah, Manasseh, ¹⁴Amon, and Josiah.

¹⁵The sons of Josiah were Johanan (the oldest), Jehoiakim (the second), Zedekiah (the third), and Jehoahaz^[g] (the fourth).

¹⁶The successors of Jehoiakim were his son Jehoiachin and his brother Zedekiah.^[h]

Descendants of Jehoiachin

¹⁷The sons of Jehoiachin,^[i] who was taken prisoner by the Babylonians, were Shealtiel, ¹⁸Malkiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

¹⁹The sons of Pedaiah were Zerubbabel and Shimei.

The sons of Zerubbabel were Meshullam and Hananiah. (Their sister was Shelomith.) ²⁰His five other sons were Hashubah, Ohel, Berekiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed.

²¹The sons of Hananiah were Pelatiah and Jeshaiah. Jeshaiah’s son was Rephaiah. Rephaiah’s son was Arnan. Arnan’s son was Obadiah. Obadiah’s son was Shecaniah.

²²The descendants of Shecaniah were Shemaiah and his sons, Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat—six in all.

²³The sons of Neariah were Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam—three in all.

²⁴The sons of Elioenai were Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani—seven in all.

¹⁰所罗门的儿子是罗波安，罗波安的儿子是亚比雅，亚比雅的儿子是亚撒，亚撒的儿子是约沙法， ¹¹约沙法的儿子是约兰，约兰的儿子是亚哈谢，亚哈谢的儿子是约阿施， ¹²约阿施的儿子是亚玛谢，亚玛谢的儿子是亚撒利雅，亚撒利雅的儿子是约坦， ¹³约坦的儿子是亚哈斯，亚哈斯的儿子是希西迦，希西迦的儿子是玛拿西， ¹⁴玛拿西的儿子是亚们，亚们的儿子是约西亚。 ¹⁵约西亚的儿子有长子约哈难、次子约雅敬、三子西底迦、四子沙龙。 ¹⁶约雅敬的儿子是耶哥尼雅和西底迦。

耶哥尼雅的后裔

¹⁷被掳的耶哥尼雅的儿子是撒拉铁、 ¹⁸玛基兰、毗大雅、示拿萨、耶加米、何沙玛、尼达比雅。 ¹⁹毗大雅的儿子是所罗巴伯和示每。所罗巴伯的儿子是米书兰和哈拿尼雅，女儿是示罗密， ²⁰他还有五个儿子：哈舒巴、阿黑、比利迦、哈撒底、于沙·希悉。 ²¹哈拿尼雅的儿子是毗拉提和耶筛亚。耶筛亚生利法雅，利法雅生亚珥南，亚珥南生俄巴底亚，俄巴底亚生示迦尼， ²²示迦尼的儿子是示玛雅，示玛雅的儿子是哈突、以甲、巴利亚、尼利雅、沙法。 ²³尼利雅的三个儿子是以利约乃、希西迦和亚斯利干。 ²⁴以利约乃的七个儿子是何大雅、以利亚实、毗莱雅、阿谷、约哈难、第莱雅和阿拿尼。
