⁴⁹ She was also the mother of Shaaph, Madmannah’s father, and of Sheva, the father of Machbenah and Gibea. Caleb’s daughter was Achsah.

⁵⁰ These were Caleb’s descendants.

The sons of Hur, Ephrathah’s firstborn:

Shobal fathered Kiriath-jearim;

⁵¹ Salma fathered Bethlehem,

and Hareph fathered Beth-gader.
