⁸ And the next day, when the Philistines came to plunder those who had been killed, they found Saul and his sons lying on Mount Gilboa.

⁹ And after they had stripped him, they took his head and his armor and sent them into the land of the Philistines, all around, to proclaim it to their idols, and to the people.

¹⁰ And they laid up his armor in the house of their god and set up his head in the house of Dagon.
