8 καταβαντος δε αυτου απο του ορους ηκολουθησαν αυτω οχλοι πολλοι
2 και ιδου λεπρος προσελθων προσεκυνει αυτω λεγων κυριε εαν θελης δυνασαι με καθαρισαι
3 και εκτεινας την χειρα ηψατο αυτου λεγων θελω καθαρισθητι και ευθεως εκαθαρισθη αυτου η λεπρα
4 και λεγει αυτω ο ιησους ορα μηδενι ειπης αλλα υπαγε σεαυτον δειξον τω ιερει και προσενεγκον το δωρον ο προσεταξεν μωυσης εις μαρτυριον αυτοις
5 εισελθοντος δε αυτου εις καφαρναουμ προσηλθεν αυτω εκατονταρχος παρακαλων αυτον
6 και λεγων κυριε ο παις μου βεβληται εν τη οικια παραλυτικος δεινως βασανιζομενος
7 λεγει αυτω εγω ελθων θεραπευσω αυτον
8 αποκριθεις δε ο εκατονταρχος εφη κυριε ουκ ειμι ικανος ινα μου υπο την στεγην εισελθης αλλα μονον ειπε λογω και ιαθησεται ο παις μου
9 και γαρ εγω ανθρωπος ειμι υπο εξουσιαν [τασσομενος] εχων υπ εμαυτον στρατιωτας και λεγω τουτω πορευθητι και πορευεται και αλλω ερχου και ερχεται και τω δουλω μου ποιησον τουτο και ποιει
10 ακουσας δε ο ιησους εθαυμασεν και ειπεν τοις ακολουθουσιν αμην λεγω υμιν παρ ουδενι τοσαυτην πιστιν εν τω ισραηλ ευρον
11 λεγω δε υμιν οτι πολλοι απο ανατολων και δυσμων ηξουσιν και ανακλιθησονται μετα αβρααμ και ισαακ και ιακωβ εν τη βασιλεια των ουρανων
12 οι δε υιοι της βασιλειας εκβληθησονται εις το σκοτος το εξωτερον εκει εσται ο κλαυθμος και ο βρυγμος των οδοντων
13 και ειπεν ο ιησους τω εκατονταρχη υπαγε ως επιστευσας γενηθητω σοι και ιαθη ο παις εν τη ωρα εκεινη
14 και ελθων ο ιησους εις την οικιαν πετρου ειδεν την πενθεραν αυτου βεβλημενην και πυρεσσουσαν
15 και ηψατο της χειρος αυτης και αφηκεν αυτην ο πυρετος και ηγερθη και διηκονει αυτω
16 οψιας δε γενομενης προσηνεγκαν αυτω δαιμονιζομενους πολλους και εξεβαλεν τα πνευματα λογω και παντας τους κακως εχοντας εθεραπευσεν
17 οπως πληρωθη το ρηθεν δια ησαιου του προφητου λεγοντος αυτος τας ασθενειας ημων ελαβεν και τας νοσους εβαστασεν
18 ιδων δε ο ιησους οχλον περι αυτον εκελευσεν απελθειν εις το περαν
19 και προσελθων εις γραμματευς ειπεν αυτω διδασκαλε ακολουθησω σοι οπου εαν απερχη
20 και λεγει αυτω ο ιησους αι αλωπεκες φωλεους εχουσιν και τα πετεινα του ουρανου κατασκηνωσεις ο δε υιος του ανθρωπου ουκ εχει που την κεφαλην κλινη
21 ετερος δε των μαθητων ειπεν αυτω κυριε επιτρεψον μοι πρωτον απελθειν και θαψαι τον πατερα μου
22 ο δε ιησους λεγει αυτω ακολουθει μοι και αφες τους νεκρους θαψαι τους εαυτων νεκρους
23 και εμβαντι αυτω εις πλοιον ηκολουθησαν αυτω οι μαθηται αυτου
24 και ιδου σεισμος μεγας εγενετο εν τη θαλασση ωστε το πλοιον καλυπτεσθαι υπο των κυματων αυτος δε εκαθευδεν
25 και προσελθοντες ηγειραν αυτον λεγοντες κυριε σωσον απολλυμεθα
26 και λεγει αυτοις τι δειλοι εστε ολιγοπιστοι τοτε εγερθεις επετιμησεν τοις ανεμοις και τη θαλασση και εγενετο γαληνη μεγαλη
27 οι δε ανθρωποι εθαυμασαν λεγοντες ποταπος εστιν ουτος οτι και οι ανεμοι και η θαλασσα αυτω υπακουουσιν
28 και ελθοντος αυτου εις το περαν εις την χωραν των γαδαρηνων υπηντησαν αυτω δυο δαιμονιζομενοι εκ των μνημειων εξερχομενοι χαλεποι λιαν ωστε μη ισχυειν τινα παρελθειν δια της οδου εκεινης
29 και ιδου εκραξαν λεγοντες τι ημιν και σοι υιε του θεου ηλθες ωδε προ καιρου βασανισαι ημας
30 ην δε μακραν απ αυτων αγελη χοιρων πολλων βοσκομενη
31 οι δε δαιμονες παρεκαλουν αυτον λεγοντες ει εκβαλλεις ημας αποστειλον ημας εις την αγελην των χοιρων
32 και ειπεν αυτοις υπαγετε οι δε εξελθοντες απηλθον εις τους χοιρους και ιδου ωρμησεν πασα η αγελη κατα του κρημνου εις την θαλασσαν και απεθανον εν τοις υδασιν
33 οι δε βοσκοντες εφυγον και απελθοντες εις την πολιν απηγγειλαν παντα και τα των δαιμονιζομενων
34 και ιδου πασα η πολις εξηλθεν εις υπαντησιν τω ιησου και ιδοντες αυτον παρεκαλεσαν οπως μεταβη απο των οριων αυτων

Исцеление прокажённого(A)
8 Когда Исо спустился с горы, за Ним последовало множество людей. 2 Тут к Нему подошёл человек, больной проказой[a], поклонился Ему и сказал:
– Господин, если Ты захочешь, Ты можешь меня очистить.
3 Исо протянул руку и прикоснулся к нему, сказав:
– Хочу, очистись!
В тот же миг человек исцелился от проказы. 4 Тогда Исо сказал ему:
– Смотри, никому не говори об этом, но пойди, покажись священнослужителю и принеси дар, какой повелел Мусо.[b] Так люди удостоверятся, что ты исцелён.[c]
Вера римского воина(B)
5 Когда Исо пришёл в Капернаум, к Нему подошёл римский офицер и попросил о помощи.
6 – Господин, – сказал он, – мой слуга лежит дома парализованный и ужасно мучается.
7 Исо ответил ему:
– Хорошо, Я приду и исцелю его.
8 Но офицер сказал:
– Господин, я не достоин, чтобы Ты вошёл под крышу моего дома. Но скажи лишь слово, и мой слуга выздоровеет. 9 Ведь и сам я подчиняюсь приказам, и у меня в подчинении тоже есть воины. Я говорю одному: «Ступай!» – и он идёт, другому: «Ко мне!» – и тот приходит. Рабу моему говорю: «Сделай это!» – и он делает.
10 Исо, выслушав его, удивился и сказал тем, кто шёл за Ним:
– Говорю вам истину, что даже в Исроиле Я не встречал такой сильной веры. 11 Говорю вам, что многие из других народов придут с востока и запада и возлягут на пиру в Небесном Царстве вместе с Иброхимом, Исхоком и Якубом. 12 А многие иудеи, которые были подданными этого Царства от самого рождения, будут выброшены вон, во тьму, где будет плач и скрежет зубов.
13 И Исо сказал римскому офицеру:
– Иди! По твоей вере будет тебе.
И в тот же час больной слуга выздоровел.

14 Придя в дом Петруса, Исо увидел, что его тёща лежит в горячке. 15 Он прикоснулся к её руке, и жар оставил её, она встала и начала накрывать для Него на стол. 16 С наступлением вечера к Исо привели много людей, одержимых демонами. Он изгнал духов словом и исцелил всех больных. 17 Это было исполнением слов пророка Исаии: «Он взял на Себя наши немощи и понёс наши болезни»[d].

18 Когда Исо увидел, что вокруг Него собралась большая толпа, Он велел ученикам переправиться на другую сторону озера. 19 Тут к Нему подошёл один из учителей Таврота и сказал:
– Учитель, я пойду за Тобой, куда бы Ты ни пошёл.
20 Исо ответил:
– У лисиц есть норы, и у птиц небесных – гнёзда, а Ниспосланному как Человек[e] негде и голову приклонить.
21 А другой человек, из Его учеников, сказал:
– Повелитель, разреши мне остаться со своим отцом, чтобы, когда он умрёт, я смог похоронить его.
22 Но Исо ответил ему:
– Следуй за Мной, пусть духовно мёртвые сами хоронят своих мертвецов.
Усмирение шторма(E)
23 Исо вошёл в лодку, и ученики сели вместе с Ним. 24 Внезапно на озере поднялся такой сильный шторм, что лодку захлёстывало волнами. А Исо в это время спал. 25 Ученики разбудили Его, говоря:
– Повелитель, спаси нас! Мы гибнем!
26 Исо ответил:
– Маловеры, ну что вы испугались?
Он встал, запретил ветру и волнам, и наступил полный штиль. 27 Ученики удивлённо спрашивали:
– Кто же Он, что даже ветер и волны повинуются Ему?
Изгнание демонов в стадо свиней(F)
28 Когда Исо прибыл на другую сторону озера, в Гадаринскую землю, навстречу Ему из могильных пещер вышли два человека, одержимые демонами. Они были такие буйные, что никто не решался проходить той дорогой.
29 – Что Ты от нас хочешь, Сын Всевышнего (Царственный Спаситель)? – закричали они. – Ты пришёл мучить нас ещё до назначенного срока?
30 Неподалёку от них паслось большое стадо свиней. 31 Демоны попросили Исо:
– Если Ты нас выгонишь, то пошли нас в это стадо свиней.
32 Исо сказал им:
– Идите!
Выйдя из людей, демоны вошли в свиней. Всё стадо бросилось с обрыва в озеро и погибло в воде. 33 А свинопасы побежали в город и всё рассказали, включая и то, что произошло с одержимыми. 34 Тогда все жители города вышли навстречу Исо и, увидев Его, попросили покинуть их края.

Jesus Heals a Man With Leprosy(A)
8 When Jesus came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him. 2 A man with leprosy[a](B) came and knelt before him(C) and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”
3 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. 4 Then Jesus said to him, “See that you don’t tell anyone.(D) But go, show yourself to the priest(E) and offer the gift Moses commanded,(F) as a testimony to them.”
The Faith of the Centurion(G)
5 When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. 6 “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed,(H) suffering terribly.”
7 Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?”
8 The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.(I) 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.(J) 11 I say to you that many will come from the east and the west,(K) and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.(L) 12 But the subjects of the kingdom(M) will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”(N)
13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.”(O) And his servant was healed at that moment.
Jesus Heals Many(P)
14 When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. 15 He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him.
16 When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.(Q) 17 This was to fulfill(R) what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:
The Cost of Following Jesus(T)
18 When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake.(U) 19 Then a teacher of the law came to him and said, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”
20 Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man(V) has no place to lay his head.”
21 Another disciple said to him, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
22 But Jesus told him, “Follow me,(W) and let the dead bury their own dead.”
Jesus Calms the Storm(X)(Y)
23 Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. 24 Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. 25 The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”
26 He replied, “You of little faith,(Z) why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.(AA)
27 The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”
Jesus Restores Two Demon-Possessed Men(AB)
28 When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes,[c] two demon-possessed(AC) men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way. 29 “What do you want with us,(AD) Son of God?” they shouted. “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?”(AE)
30 Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding. 31 The demons begged Jesus, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”
32 He said to them, “Go!” So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water. 33 Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. 34 Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region.(AF)

Jesus Heals a Man(A)
8 When Jesus came down from the hill, large crowds followed him. 2 Then a man suffering from a dreaded skin disease came to him, knelt down before him, and said, “Sir, if you want to, you can make me clean.”[a]
3 Jesus reached out and touched him. “I do want to,” he answered. “Be clean!” At once the man was healed of his disease. 4 (B)Then Jesus said to him, “Listen! Don't tell anyone, but go straight to the priest and let him examine you; then in order to prove to everyone that you are cured, offer the sacrifice that Moses ordered.”
Jesus Heals a Roman Officer's Servant(C)
5 When Jesus entered Capernaum, a Roman officer met him and begged for help: 6 “Sir, my servant is sick in bed at home, unable to move and suffering terribly.”
7 “I will go and make him well,” Jesus said.
8 “Oh no, sir,” answered the officer. “I do not deserve to have you come into my house. Just give the order, and my servant will get well. 9 (D)I, too, am a man under the authority of superior officers, and I have soldiers under me. I order this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes; and I order that one, ‘Come!’ and he comes; and I order my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.”
10 When Jesus heard this, he was surprised and said to the people following him, “I tell you, I have never found anyone in Israel with faith like this. 11 (E)I assure you that many will come from the east and the west and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the feast in the Kingdom of heaven. 12 (F)But those who should be in the Kingdom will be thrown out into the darkness, where they will cry and gnash their teeth.” 13 Then Jesus said to the officer, “Go home, and what you believe will be done for you.”
And the officer's servant was healed that very moment.
Jesus Heals Many People(G)
14 Jesus went to Peter's home, and there he saw Peter's mother-in-law sick in bed with a fever. 15 He touched her hand; the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him.
16 When evening came, people brought to Jesus many who had demons in them. Jesus drove out the evil spirits with a word and healed all who were sick. 17 (H)He did this to make come true what the prophet Isaiah had said, “He himself took our sickness and carried away our diseases.”
The Would-Be Followers of Jesus(I)
18 When Jesus noticed the crowd around him, he ordered his disciples to go to the other side of the lake. 19 A teacher of the Law came to him. “Teacher,” he said, “I am ready to go with you wherever you go.”
20 Jesus answered him, “Foxes have holes, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lie down and rest.”
21 (J)Another man, who was a disciple, said, “Sir, first let me go back and bury my father.”
22 “Follow me,” Jesus answered, “and let the dead bury their own dead.”

23 Jesus got into a boat, and his disciples went with him. 24 Suddenly a fierce storm hit the lake, and the boat was in danger of sinking. But Jesus was asleep. 25 The disciples went to him and woke him up. “Save us, Lord!” they said. “We are about to die!”
26 “Why are you so frightened?” Jesus answered. “What little faith you have!” Then he got up and ordered the winds and the waves to stop, and there was a great calm.
27 Everyone was amazed. “What kind of man is this?” they said. “Even the winds and the waves obey him!”
Jesus Heals Two Men with Demons(L)
28 When Jesus came to the territory of Gadara on the other side of the lake, he was met by two men who came out of the burial caves there. These men had demons in them and were so fierce that no one dared travel on that road. 29 At once they screamed, “What do you want with us, you Son of God? Have you come to punish us before the right time?”
30 Not far away there was a large herd of pigs feeding. 31 So the demons begged Jesus, “If you are going to drive us out, send us into that herd of pigs.”
32 “Go,” Jesus told them; so they left and went off into the pigs. The whole herd rushed down the side of the cliff into the lake and was drowned.
33 The men who had been taking care of the pigs ran away and went into the town, where they told the whole story and what had happened to the men with the demons. 34 So everyone from the town went out to meet Jesus; and when they saw him, they begged him to leave their territory.
