1 مِنْ بُولُسَ وَهُوَ رَسُولٌ لِلْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ بِمَشِيئَةِ اللهِ، وَمِنَ الأَخِ تِيمُوثَاوُسَ، 2 إِلَى الإِخْوَةِ الْقِدِّيسِينَ وَالأُمَنَاءِ فِي الْمَسِيحِ، الْمُقِيمِينَ فِي مَدِينَةِ كُولُوسِّي. لِتَكُنْ لَكُمُ النِّعْمَةُ وَالسَّلامُ مِنَ اللهِ أَبِينَا وَالرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ.
شكر وصلاة
3 إِنَّنَا دَائِماً نَرْفَعُ الشُّكْرَ لِلهِ، أَبِي رَبِّنَا يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ فِيمَا نُصَلِّي لأَجْلِكُمْ. 4 إِذْ بَلَغَنَا خَبَرُ إِيمَانِكُمْ بِالْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ وَالْمَحَبَّةِ الَّتِي لَكُمْ نَحْوَ جَمِيعِ الْقِدِّيسِينَ، 5 بِسَبَبِ الرَّجَاءِ الْمَحْفُوظِ لَكُمْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ، الرَّجَاءِ الَّذِي سَمِعْتُمْ بِهِ سَابِقاً فِي كَلِمَةِ الْحَقِّ الَّتِي فِي الإِنْجِيلِ 6 وَالَّتِي وَصَلَتْ إِلَيْكُمْ كَمَا تَنْتَشِرُ الآنَ فِي الْعَالَمِ أَجْمَعَ، مُنْتِجَةً الثَّمَرَ وَنَامِيَةً، مِثْلَمَا يَحْدُثُ بَيْنَكُمْ أَنْتُمْ مُنْذُ أَنْ سَمِعْتُمْ بِنِعْمَةِ اللهِ وَاخْتَبَرْتُمُوهَا بِالْحَقِّ، 7 عَلَى حَسَبِ مَا تَعَلَّمْتُمْ مِنْ أَبَفْرَاسَ شَرِيكِنَا الْعَبْدِ الْحَبِيبِ، وَالْخَادِمِ الأَمِينِ لِلْمَسِيحِ عِنْدَكُمْ 8 وَهُوَ نَفْسُهُ أَخْبَرَنَا بِمَا لَكُمْ مِنَ الْمَحَبَّةِ فِي الرُّوحِ.
9 لِذَلِكَ نَحْنُ أَيْضاً، مِنَ الْيَوْمِ الَّذِي فِيهِ سَمِعْنَا بِأَخْبَارِكُمْ، مَازِلْنَا نُصَلِّي وَنَتَضَرَّعُ لأَجْلِكُمْ، لأَنْ تَمْتَلِئُوا مِنْ تَمَامِ مَعْرِفَةِ مَشِيئَةِ اللهِ فِي كُلِّ حِكْمَةٍ وَإِدْرَاكٍ رُوحِيٍّ، 10 لِكَيْ تَسْلُكُوا سُلُوكاً لائِقاً بِالرَّبِّ وَمُرْضِياً فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، مُنْتِجِينَ الثَّمَرَ فِي كُلِّ عَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ وَنَامِينَ فِي مَعْرِفَةِ اللهِ إِلَى التَّمَامِ، 11 مُتَشَدِّدِينَ بِكُلِّ قُوَّةٍ مُوَافِقَةٍ لِقُدْرَةِ مَجْدِهِ، لِتَتَمَكَّنُوا تَمَاماً مِنَ الاحْتِمَالِ وَطُولِ الْبَالِ، 12 رَافِعِينَ الشُّكْرَ بِفَرَحٍ لِلآبِ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ أَهْلاً لِلاشْتِرَاكِ فِي مِيرَاثِ الْقِدِّيسِينَ فِي النُّورِ، 13 هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْقَذَنَا مِنْ سُلْطَةِ الظَّلامِ وَنَقَلَنَا إِلَى مَلَكُوتِ ابْنِ مَحَبَّتِهِ 14 الَّذِي فِيهِ لَنَا الْفِدَاءُ، أَيْ غُفْرَانُ الْخَطَايَا.
مجد المسيح
15 هُوَ صُورَةُ اللهِ الَّذِي لَا يُرَى، وَالْبِكْرُ عَلَى كُلِّ مَا قَدْ خُلِقَ، 16 إِذْ بِهِ خُلِقَتْ جَمِيعُ الأَشْيَاءِ: مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا عَلَى الأَرْضِ، مَا يُرَى وَمَا لَا يُرَى، أَعُرُوشاً كَانَتْ أَمْ سِيَادَاتٍ أَمْ رِئَاسَاتٍ أَمْ سُلْطَاتٍ. كُلُّ مَا فِي الْكَوْنِ قَدْ خُلِقَ بِهِ وَلأَجْلِهِ. 17 هُوَ كَائِنٌ قَبْلَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، وَبِهِ يَدُومُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ. 18 وَهُوَ رَأْسُ الْجَسَدِ، أَيِ الْكَنِيسَةِ؛ هُوَ الْبَدَاءَةُ وَبِكْرُ الْقَائِمِينَ مِنْ بَيْنِ الأَمْوَاتِ، لِيَكُونَ لَهُ الْمَقَامُ الأَوَّلُ فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ. 19 فَفِيهِ سُرَّ اللهُ أَنْ يَحِلَّ بِكُلِّ مِلْئِهِ، 20 وَأَنْ يُصَالِحَ بِهِ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ مَعَ نَفْسِهِ، إِذْ أَحَلَّ السَّلامَ بِدَمِهِ عَلَى الصَّلِيبِ، فَبِهِ يُصَالَحُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ، سَوَاءٌ مَا كَانَ عَلَى الأَرْضِ أَوْ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ.
21 وَأَنْتُمْ، يَا مَنْ كُنْتُمْ فِي الْمَاضِي أَجَانِبَ وَأَعْدَاءَ فِي الْفِكْرِ، بِأَعْمَالِكُمُ الشِّرِّيرَةِ، 22 قَدْ صَالَحَكُمُ الآنَ فِي جَسَدِ بَشَرِيَّةِ (ابْنِهِ) بِالْمَوْتِ. وَذَلِكَ لِكَيْ يُحْضِرَكُمْ فَتَمْثُلُوا أَمَامَهُ وَأَنْتُمْ قِدِّيسُونَ بِلا ذَنْبٍ وَلا لَوْمٍ. 23 عَلَى أَنْ تَثْبُتُوا فِعْلاً فِي الإِيمَانِ، مُؤَسَّسِينَ وَرَاسِخِينَ وَغَيْرَ مُتَحَوِّلِينَ عَنْ رَجَاءِ الإِنْجِيلِ الَّذِي سَمِعْتُمُوهُ، الَّذِي بُشِّرَ بِهِ لِلْخَلِيقَةِ كُلِّهَا تَحْتَ السَّمَاءِ، وَلَهُ صِرْتُ أَنَا بُولُسَ خَادِماً.

24 وَالآنَ أَنَا أَفْرَحُ فِي الآلامِ الَّتِي أُقَاسِيهَا لأَجْلِكُمْ، وَأُتَمِّمُ فِي جَسَدِي مَا نَقَصَ مِنْ ضِيقَاتِ الْمَسِيحِ لأَجْلِ جَسَدِهِ الَّذِي هُوَ الْكَنِيسَةُ، 25 وَلَهَا قَدْ صِرْتُ أَنَا خَادِماً بِمُوجِبِ تَدْبِيرِ اللهِ الْمَوْهُوبِ لِي مِنْ أَجْلِكُمْ، وَهُوَ أَنْ أُتَمِّمَ كَلِمَةَ اللهِ، بِإِعْلانِ 26 السِّرِّ الَّذِي كَانَ مَكْتُوماً طَوَالَ الْعُصُورِ وَالأَجْيَالِ، وَلكِنْ كُشِفَ الآنَ لِقِدِّيسِيهِ، 27 الَّذِينَ أَرَادَ اللهُ أَنْ يُعْلِنَ لَهُمْ كَمْ هُوَ غَنِيٌّ مَجْدُ هَذَا السِّرِّ بَيْنَ الأُمَمِ: أَنَّ الْمَسِيحَ فِيكُمْ، وَهُوَ رَجَاءُ الْمَجْدِ؛ 28 هَذَا السِّرُّ نُعْلِنُهُ نَحْنُ، وَاعِظِينَ كُلَّ إِنْسَانٍ، وَمُعَلِّمِينَ كُلَّ إِنْسَانٍ، فِي كُلِّ حِكْمَةٍ، لِكَيْ نُحْضِرَ كُلَّ إِنْسَانٍ كَامِلاً فِي الْمَسِيحِ. 29 وَلأَجْلِ هَذَا أَتْعَبُ أَنَا أَيْضاً وَأُجَاهِدُ، بِفَضْلِ قُدْرَتِهِ الْعَامِلَةِ فِيَّ بِقُوَّةٍ.

1 Paolo, apostolo di Gesú Cristo per volontà di Dio, e il fratello Timoteo,
2 ai santi e fedeli fratelli in Cristo che sono in Colosse: grazia e pace a voi da Dio nostro Padre e dal Signore Gesú Cristo.
3 Noi rendiamo grazie a Dio e Padre del Signor nostro Gesú Cristo, pregando continuamente per voi,
4 perché abbiamo sentito parlare della vostra fede in Cristo Gesú e del vostro amore verso tutti i santi,
5 a motivo della speranza che è riposta per voi nei cieli, di cui avete già sentito nella parola della verità dell'evangelo,
6 che è giunto a voi, come pure in tutto il mondo e porta frutto e cresce, come avviene anche tra di voi, dal giorno in cui udiste e conosceste la grazia di Dio in verità,
7 come avete imparato da Epafra, nostro caro compagno, il quale è un fedele ministro di Cristo per voi,
8 e che ci ha anche dichiarato il vostro amore nello Spirito.
9 Perciò anche noi, dal giorno in cui abbiamo sentito questo, non cessiamo di pregare per voi e di chiedere che siate ripieni della conoscenza della sua volontà, in ogni sapienza ed intelligenza spirituale,
10 perché camminiate in modo degno del Signore, per piacergli in ogni cosa, portando frutto in ogni opera buona e crescendo nella conoscenza di Dio,
11 fortificati con ogni forza, secondo la sua gloriosa potenza, per ogni perseveranza e pazienza, con gioia,
12 rendendo grazie a Dio e Padre, che ci ha fatti degni di partecipare alla sorte dei santi nella luce.
13 Poiché egli ci ha riscossi dalla potestà delle tenebre e ci ha trasportati nel regno del suo amato Figlio
14 in cui abbiamo la redenzione per mezzo del suo sangue e il perdono dei peccati.
15 Egli è l'immagine dell'invisibile Dio, il primogenito di ogni creatura,
16 poiché in lui sono state create tutte le cose, quelle che sono nei cieli e quelle che sono sulla terra, le cose visibili e quelle invisibili: troni, signorie, principati e potestà; tutte le cose sono state create per mezzo di lui e in vista di lui,
17 Egli è prima di ogni cosa e tutte le cose sussistono in lui.
18 Egli stesso è il capo del corpo, cioè della chiesa; egli è il principio, il primogenito dai morti, affinché abbia il primato in ogni cosa,
19 perchè è piaciuto al Padre di far abitare in lui tutta la pienezza,
20 e, avendo fatta la pace per mezzo del sangue della sua croce, di riconciliare a sè, per mezzo di lui, tutte le cose, tanto quelle che sono sulla terra come quelle che sono nei cieli.
21 E voi stessi, che un tempo eravate estranei e nemici nella mente con le vostre opere malvagie,
22 ora vi ha riconciliati nel corpo della sua carne, mediante la morte, per farvi comparire davanti a sé santi, irreprensibili e senza colpa,
23 se pure perseverate nella fede, essendo fondati e fermi senza essere smossi dalla speranza dell'evangelo che voi avete udito e che è stato predicato ad ogni creatura che è sotto il cielo e di cui io Paolo, sono divenuto ministro.
24 Ora mi rallegro nelle mie sofferenze per voi, e a mia volta compio nella mia carne ciò che manca ancora alle afflizioni di Cristo per il suo corpo, che è la chiesa,
25 di cui sono stato fatto ministro, secondo l'incarico che Dio mi ha affidato per voi, per presentare compiutamente la parola di Dio,
26 il mistero che fu tenuto nascosto per le passate età e generazioni, ma che ora è stato manifestato ai suoi santi,
27 ai quali Dio ha voluto far conoscere quali siano le ricchezze della gloria di questo mistero fra i gentili, che è Cristo in voi, speranza di gloria,
28 che noi annunziamo, ammonendo e ammaestrando ogni uomo in ogni sapienza, per presentare ogni uomo perfetto in Cristo Gesú;
29 e per questo mi affatico combattendo con la sua forza che opera in me con potenza.

1 مِنْ بُولُسَ رَسُولِ المَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ وَمِنَ الأخِ تِيمُوثَاوُسَ، 2 إلَى المُؤمِنِينَ المُقَدَّسِينَ فِي كُولُوسِي، الإخوَةِ الأُمَنَاءِ فِي المَسِيحِ. نِعْمَةُ اللهِ أبِينَا عَلَيْكُمْ، وَسَلَامُهُ مَعَكُمْ.
شُكرٌ وَصَلَاة
3 إنَّنَا نَشْكُرُ اللهَ أبَا رَبِّنَا يَسُوعَ المَسِيحِ مِنْ أجْلِكُمْ كُلَّمَا صَلَّينَا. 4 نَشكُرُهُ عَلَى مَا سَمِعنَاهُ عَنْ إيمَانِكُمْ بِالمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ، وَالمَحَبَّةِ الَّتِي تُظهِرُونَهَا لِكُلِّ المُؤمِنِينَ. 5 وَأنْتُمْ لَا تَتَرَاخُونَ فِي ذَلِكَ بِسَبَبِ الرَّجَاءِ المَحفُوظِ لَكُمْ فِي السَّمَاءِ. وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُمْ عَنْ هَذَا الرَّجَاءِ فِي البِدَايَةِ فِي رِسَالَةِ الحَقِّ الَّتِي فِي البِشَارَةِ 6 الَّتِي وَصَلَتْ إلَيكُمْ كَمَا وَصَلَتْ إلَى العَالَمِ كُلِّهِ. وَهيَ تُثمِرُ فِي العَالَمِ كَمَا أثمَرَت فيكُمْ مُنْذُ أنْ سَمِعْتُمْ عَنْ نِعْمَةِ اللهِ وَفَهِمتُمُوهَا. 7 لَقَدْ تَعَلَّمتُمْ تِلْكَ الرِّسَالَةَ مِنْ أبَفرَاسَ، الخَادِمِ المَحبُوبِ العَامِلِ مَعَنَا، وَالشَّرِيكِ الأمِينِ فِي خِدْمَةِ المَسِيحِ مِنْ أجْلِكُمْ. 8 وَهُوَ الَّذِي حَدَّثَنَا عَنْ مَحَبَّتِكُمُ النَّابِعَةِ مِنَ الرُّوحِ القُدُسِ.
9 وَمُنذُ أنْ سَمِعْنَا ذَلِكَ عَنْكُمْ، لَمْ نَكُفَّ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ مِنْ أجْلِكُمْ:
أنْ يَكْشِفَ لَكُمُ اللهُ كُلَّ شَيءٍ عَنْ إرَادَتِهِ، وَأنْ يُعطِيَكُمْ كُلَّ حِكمَةٍ وَفَهمٍ رُوحِيٍّ، 10 لِكَي تَسْلُكُوا كَمَا يَلِيقُ بِالرَّبِّ، وَتُرضُوهُ فِي كُلِّ شَيءٍ. أنْ تُثمِرُوا فِي كُلِّ أنْوَاعِ الأعْمَالِ الصَّالِحَةِ، وَأنْ تَنمُوا فِي مَعْرِفَةِ اللهِ دَائِمًا. 11 أنْ تَتَقَوَّوْا بِكُلِّ قُوَّةٍ نَابِعَةٍ مِنْ قُوَّتِهِ المَجِيدَةِ، فَتَصَبِرُوا وَتَتَحَمَّلُوا المَشَقَّاتِ بِفَرَحٍ.
12 فَاشْكُرُوا الآبَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ مُؤَهَّلِينَ لِلمُشَارَكَةِ فِي مِيرَاثِ المُقَدَّسِينَ الَّذِينَ يَحْيَونَ فِي النُّورِ، 13 الآبَ الَّذِي أنقَذَنَا مِنْ سُلْطَةِ الظُّلمَةِ، وَنَقَلَنَا إلَى مُلكِ ابنِهِ الحَبِيبِ 14 الذَّي فَدَانَا، وَفِيهِ غُفْرَانُ خَطَايَانَا.
اللهُ فِي المَسِيح
15 وَالابْنُ هُوَ صُورَةُ اللهِ غَيْرِ المَنظُورِ،
وَهُوَ السَّائِدُ عَلَى كُلِّ الخَلِيقَةِ.
16 بِهِ خُلِقَ كُلُّ مَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَمَا عَلَى الأرْضِ:
مَا هُوَ مَرئِيٌّ وَمَا هُوَ غَيْرُ مَرئِيٍّ،
سَوَاءٌ أكَانَ عُرُوشًا أمْ رُؤَسَاءَ
أمْ حُكَّامًا أمْ سُلُطَاتٍ.
كُلُّ مَا خُلِقَ،
خُلِقَ بِهِ وَمِنْ أجْلِهِ.
17 كَانَ قَبْلَ كُلِّ الأشْيَاءِ،
وَكُلُّ الأشْيَاءِ بِقُوَّتِهِ تَسْتَمِرُّ.
18 هُوَ رَأسُ الجَسَدِ، أيِ الكَنِيسَةِ.
هُوَ البِدَايَةُ، المُتَقَدِّمُ عَلَى جَمِيعِ
الَّذِينَ سَيَقُومُونَ مِنَ المَوْتِ،
لِكَي يَكُونَ لَهُ المَقَامُ الأوَّلُ فِي كُلِّ شَيءٍ.
19 فَقَدْ شَاءَ اللهُ
أنْ يَحِلَّ بِكُلِّ مِلئِهِ فِي المَسِيحِ.
20 وَاخْتَارَ أنْ يُصَالِحَ كُلَّ الأشْيَاءِ ثَانِيَةً لِنَفْسِهِ بِالمَسِيحِ،
سَوَاءٌ عَلَى الأرْضِ أمْ فِي السَّمَاءِ.
صَنَعَ اللهُ الصُّلحَ
بِدَمِ يَسُوعَ المَسْفوكِ عَلَى صَلِيبِهِ.
21 فَقَدْ كُنْتُمْ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ مُنْفَصِلينَ عَنِ اللهِ، وَكَانَتْ أفْكَارُكُمْ مُعَادِيَةً للهِ، لِأنَّ أعْمَالَكُمْ كَانَتْ شِرِّيرَةً. 22 أمَّا الآنَ، فَقَدْ صَالَحَكُمُ المَسِيحُ بِجِسمِهِ البَشَرِيِّ، بِمَوْتِهِ، لِكَي يُقَدِّمَكُمْ أمَامَ اللهِ مُقَدَّسِينَ، وَطَاهِرِينَ، وَبِلَا شَائِبَةٍ. 23 وَذَلِكَ إنْ ثَبَتُّمْ فِي الإيمَانِ، وَلَمْ تَتَخَلَّوْا عَنِ الرَّجَاءِ الَّذِي صَارَ لَكُمْ عِنْدَمَا سَمِعْتُمُ البِشَارَةَ الَّتِي أُعلِنَتْ لِكُلِّ الخَلِيقَةِ تَحْتَ السَّمَاءِ، وَالَّتِي صِرتُ أنَا بُولُسَ خَادِمًا لَهَا.
خِدْمَةُ بُولُس
24 أمَّا الآنَ، فَأنَا أفرَحُ فِي مَا أُعَانِيهِ مِنْ أجْلِكُمْ، وَبِهَذَا أُتَمِّمُ حِصَّتِي مِنْ آلَامِ المَسِيحِ فِي جَسَدِي، مِنْ أجْلِ جَسَدِهِ، أيِ الكَنِيسَةِ. 25 وَقَدْ صِرتُ خَادِمًا مِنْ خُدَّامِهَا بِتَكْلِيفٍ مِنَ اللهِ مِنْ أجْلِ مَنفَعَتِكُمْ، لِكَي أُذِيعَ رِسَالَةَ اللهِ كَامِلَةً. 26 تِلْكَ الرِّسَالَةَ الَّتِي كَانَتْ سِرًّا خَافِيًا لِعُصُورٍ وَأجيَالٍ، لَكِنَّ اللهَ أعلَنَهَا الآنَ لِشَعْبِهِ المُقَدَّسِ. 27 إذْ أرَادَ أنْ يُعَرِّفَهُمْ بِأنَّ الغِنَى المَجِيدَ لِهَذَا السِّرِّ هُوَ لِجَمِيعِ الشُّعُوبِ، وَهُوَ أنَّ المَسِيحَ فِيكُمْ هُوَ الرَّجَاءُ لِلمُشَارَكَةِ فِي مَجْدِ اللهِ. 28 فَنَحْنُ نُنَادِي بِالمَسِيحِ وَنُرشِدُ وَنُعَلِّمُ كُلَّ شَخْصٍ بِكُلِّ حِكمَةٍ، لِكَي نُقَدِّمَ كُلَّ إنْسَانٍ للهِ نَاضِجًا فِي المَسِيحِ. 29 وَأنَا أتعَبُ مِنْ أجْلِ هَذَا الهَدَفِ، مُكَافِحًا بِقُوَّةِ المَسِيحِ الَّذِي يَعْمَلُ فِيَّ.

Ringraziamento e preghiera
3 Noi rendiamo continuamente grazie a Dio, Padre del Signore nostro Gesù Cristo, nelle nostre preghiere per voi, 4 per le notizie ricevute della vostra fede in Cristo Gesù, e della carità che avete verso tutti i santi, 5 in vista della speranza che vi attende nei cieli. Di questa speranza voi avete gia udito l'annunzio dalla parola di verità del vangelo 6 che è giunto a voi, come pure in tutto il mondo fruttifica e si sviluppa; così anche fra voi dal giorno in cui avete ascoltato e conosciuto la grazia di Dio nella verità, 7 che avete appresa da Epafra, nostro caro compagno nel ministero; egli ci supplisce come un fedele ministro di Cristo, 8 e ci ha pure manifestato il vostro amore nello Spirito.
9 Perciò anche noi, da quando abbiamo saputo questo, non cessiamo di pregare per voi, e di chiedere che abbiate una conoscenza piena della sua volontà con ogni sapienza e intelligenza spirituale, 10 perché possiate comportarvi in maniera degna del Signore, per piacergli in tutto, portando frutto in ogni opera buona e crescendo nella conoscenza di Dio; 11 rafforzandovi con ogni energia secondo la potenza della sua gloria, per poter essere forti e pazienti in tutto; 12 ringraziando con gioia il Padre che ci ha messi in grado di partecipare alla sorte dei santi nella luce.

Primato del Cristo
15 Egli è immagine del Dio invisibile, generato prima di ogni creatura; 16 poiché per mezzo di lui sono state create tutte le cose, quelle nei cieli e quelle sulla terra, quelle visibili e quelle invisibili: Troni, Dominazioni, Principati e Potestà. Tutte le cose sono state create per mezzo di lui e in vista di lui. 17 Egli è prima di tutte le cose e tutte sussistono in lui. 18 Egli è anche il capo del corpo, cioè della Chiesa; il principio, il primogenito di coloro che risuscitano dai morti, per ottenere il primato su tutte le cose. 19 Perché piacque a Dio di fare abitare in lui ogni pienezza 20 e per mezzo di lui riconciliare a sé tutte le cose, rappacificando con il sangue della sua croce, cioè per mezzo di lui, le cose che stanno sulla terra e quelle nei cieli.

21 E anche voi, che un tempo eravate stranieri e nemici con la mente intenta alle opere cattive che facevate, 22 ora egli vi ha riconciliati per mezzo della morte del suo corpo di carne, per presentarvi santi, immacolati e irreprensibili al suo cospetto: 23 purché restiate fondati e fermi nella fede e non vi lasciate allontanare dalla speranza promessa nel vangelo che avete ascoltato, il quale è stato annunziato ad ogni creatura sotto il cielo e di cui io, Paolo, sono diventato ministro.

Thanksgiving and Prayer
3 We always thank God,(F) the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4 because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love(G) you have for all God’s people(H)— 5 the faith and love that spring from the hope(I) stored up for you in heaven(J) and about which you have already heard in the true message(K) of the gospel 6 that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit(L) and growing throughout the whole world(M)—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace. 7 You learned it from Epaphras,(N) our dear fellow servant,[c] who is a faithful minister(O) of Christ on our[d] behalf, 8 and who also told us of your love in the Spirit.(P)
9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you,(Q) we have not stopped praying for you.(R) We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will(S) through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,[e](T) 10 so that you may live a life worthy(U) of the Lord and please him(V) in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,(W) 11 being strengthened with all power(X) according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience,(Y) 12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father,(Z) who has qualified you[f] to share in the inheritance(AA) of his holy people in the kingdom of light.(AB) 13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness(AC) and brought us into the kingdom(AD) of the Son he loves,(AE) 14 in whom we have redemption,(AF) the forgiveness of sins.(AG)
The Supremacy of the Son of God
15 The Son is the image(AH) of the invisible God,(AI) the firstborn(AJ) over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created:(AK) things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities;(AL) all things have been created through him and for him.(AM) 17 He is before all things,(AN) and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head(AO) of the body, the church;(AP) he is the beginning and the firstborn(AQ) from among the dead,(AR) so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased(AS) to have all his fullness(AT) dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile(AU) to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven,(AV) by making peace(AW) through his blood,(AX) shed on the cross.
21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies(AY) in your minds(AZ) because of[g] your evil behavior. 22 But now he has reconciled(BA) you by Christ’s physical body(BB) through death to present you(BC) holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation(BD)— 23 if you continue(BE) in your faith, established(BF) and firm, and do not move from the hope(BG) held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven,(BH) and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.(BI)
Paul’s Labor for the Church
24 Now I rejoice(BJ) in what I am suffering for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions,(BK) for the sake of his body, which is the church.(BL) 25 I have become its servant(BM) by the commission God gave me(BN) to present to you the word of God(BO) in its fullness— 26 the mystery(BP) that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord’s people. 27 To them God has chosen to make known(BQ) among the Gentiles the glorious riches(BR) of this mystery, which is Christ in you,(BS) the hope of glory.
28 He is the one we proclaim, admonishing(BT) and teaching everyone with all wisdom,(BU) so that we may present everyone fully mature(BV) in Christ. 29 To this end I strenuously(BW) contend(BX) with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.(BY)
