المجد يفارق الهيكل

10 ثُمَّ نَظَرْتُ وَإذَا عَلَى أَدِيمِ الْمُقَبَّبِ الَّذِي فَوْقَ رَأْسِ الْكَرُوبِيمِ مَا يُشْبِهُ الْعَرْشَ، وَكَأَنَّهُ مِنْ حَجَرِ الْعَقِيقِ الأَزْرَقِ. 2 وَقَالَ لِلرَّجُلِ الْمُرْتَدِي الْكَتَّانَ: «ادْخُلْ بَيْنَ الْعَجَلاتِ تَحْتَ الْكَرُوبِ وَامْلَأْ كَفَّيْكَ جَمْرَ نَارٍ مِنْ بَيْنِ الْكَرُوبِيمِ، وَذَرِّ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ». فَدَخَلَ عَلَى مَرْأَىً مِنِّي. 3 وَكَانَ الْكَرُوبِيمُ وَاقِفِينَ عَنْ يَمِينِ الْبَيْتِ حِينَ دَخَلَ بَيْنَ الْعَجَلاتِ، فَمَلأَتِ السَّحَابَةُ الْفِنَاءَ الدَّاخِلِيَّ. 4 ثُمَّ ارْتَفَعَ مَجْدُ الرَّبِّ عَنِ الْكَرُوبِ وَاسْتَقَرَّ عَلَى عَتَبَةِ الْهَيْكَلِ، فَامْتَلأَ الْهَيْكَلُ مِنَ السَّحَابَةِ، وَغَمَرَ الْفِنَاءَ لَمَعَانٌ مِنْ مَجْدِ الرَّبِّ. 5 وَبَلَغَ صَوْتُ أَجْنِحَةِ الْكَرُوبِيمِ الْفِنَاءَ الْخَارِجِيَّ كَصَوْتِ اللهِ الْقَدِيرِ إِذَا تَكَلَّمَ. 6 فَلَمَّا أَمَرَ الرَّجُلَ الْمُرْتَدِيَ الْكَتَّانَ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ نَاراً مِنْ بَيْنِ الْعَجَلاتِ مِنْ بَيْنِ الْكَرُوبِيمِ دَخَلَ الرَّجُلُ وَوَقَفَ إِزَاءَ الْعَجَلَةِ. 7 فَمَدَّ كَرُوبٌ مِنْ بَيْنِ الْكَرُوبِيمِ يَدَهُ إِلَى النَّارِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ بَيْنَ الْكَرُوبِيمِ، وَتَنَاوَلَ مِنْهَا جَمْراً، وَوَضَعَهُ فِي كَفَيِّ الْمُرْتَدِي الْكَتَّانَ، فَأَخَذَهَا هَذَا وَخَرَجَ. 8 وَبَدَا أَنَّ لِلْكَرُوبِيمِ تَحْتَ أَجْنِحَتِهِمْ يَداً تُشْبِهُ يَدَ الْبَشَرِ.

9 وَنَظَرْتُ وَإذَا بِأَرْبَعِ عَجَلاتٍ إِزَاءَ الْكَرُوبِيمِ؛ كُلُّ عَجَلَةٍ بِجُوَارِ كَرُوبٍ. وَكَانَ مَنْظَرُ الْعَجَلاتِ كَمَنْظَرِ حَجَرِ الزَّبَرْجَدِ. 10 وَكَانَتِ الأَرْبَعُ مُتَمَاثِلَةَ الشَّكْلِ وَكَأَنَّمَا كُلُّ عَجَلَةٍ فِي وَسَطِ عَجَلَةٍ. 11 وَإذَا تَحَرَّكَتْ لِتَسِيرَ فَإِنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَتَّجِهُ فِي سَيْرِهَا فِي أَيِّ اتِّجَاهٍ مِنَ الاتِّجَاهَاتِ الأَرْبَعَةِ، وَفْقاً لِاتِّجَاهِ الرَّأْسِ، فَتَسِيرُ خَلْفَهُ وَلا تَحِيدُ عَنْ طَرِيقِهَا. 12 وَكَانَتْ جَوَانِبُ أَجْسَامِ الْكَائِنَاتِ وَظُهُورُهَا وَأَيْدِيهَا وَأَجْنِحَتُهَا وَالْعَجَلاتُ الَّتِي تَخُصُّهَا مَلأَى بِالْعُيُونِ. 13 وَدُعِيَتِ الْعَجَلاتُ عَلَى مَسْمَعِي بِالْعَجَلاتِ. 14 وَكَانَ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ أَرْبَعَةُ أَوْجُهٍ: الْوَجْهُ الأَوَّلُ وَجْهُ كَرُوبٍ، وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي وَجْهُ إِنْسَانٍ وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّالِثُ وَجْهُ أَسَدٍ، وَالْوَجْهُ الرَّابِعُ وَجْهُ نَسْرٍ. 15 ثُمَّ ارْتَفَعَ الْكَرُوبِيمُ، فَكَانَتْ هَذِهِ هِيَ الْكَائِنَاتُ الَّتِي شَاهَدْتُهَا بِجُوَارِ نَهْرِ خَابُورَ. 16 وَعِنْدَمَا تَحَرَّكَ الْكَرُوبِيمُ تَحَرَّكَتِ الْعَجَلاتُ بِجُوَارِهِمْ، وَعِنْدَمَا فَرَدَ الْكَرُوبِيمُ أَجْنِحَتَهُمْ لِيُحَلِّقُوا فَوْقَ الأَرْضِ، حَلَّقَتِ الْعَجَلاتُ إِلَى جُوَارِهِمْ بِنَفْسِ الاتِّجَاهِ، وَلَمْ تَحِدْ عَنْهُمْ. 17 فَإِنْ تَوَقَّفُوا تَوَقَّفَتْ، وَإِنْ حَلَّقُوا تُحَلِّقْ مَعَهُمْ، لأَنَّ رُوحَ الْكَائِنَاتِ الْحَيَّةِ كَانَ فِيهَا أَيْضاً.

18 وَفَارَقَ مَجْدُ الرَّبِّ عَتَبَةَ الْهَيْكَلِ وَخَيَّمَ فَوْقَ الْكَرُوبِيمِ. 19 وَعِنْدَمَا ارْتَفَعَ الْكَرُوبِيمُ فَرَدُوا أَجْنِحَتَهُمْ وَحَلَّقُوا فَوْقَ الأَرْضِ عَلَى مَرْأَى مِنِّي، وَحَلَّقَتِ الْعَجَلاتُ مَعَهُمْ، ثُمَّ تَوَقَّفُوا عِنْدَ مَدْخَلِ بَوَّابَةِ بَيْتِ الرَّبِّ الشَّرْقِيِّ، وَمَجْدُ الرَّبِّ مَا بَرِحَ مُخَيِّماً عَلَيْهِمْ. 20 هَذِهِ هِيَ الْكَائِنَاتُ الْحَيَّةُ الَّتِي شَاهَدْتُهَا تَحْتَ إِلَهِ إِسْرَائِيلَ عِنْدَ نَهْرِ خَابُورَ. فَعَرَفْتُ أَنَّهُمُ الْكَرُوبِيمُ. 21 وَكَانَ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ أَرْبَعَةُ أَوْجُهٍ وَأَرْبَعَةُ أَجْنِحَةٍ، وَتَحْتَ أَجْنِحَتِهِمْ أَيْدٍ مُمَاثِلَةٌ لأَيْدِي الْبَشَرِ. 22 أَمَّا أَشْكَالُ وُجُوهِهِمْ فَكَانَتْ نَفْسَ الْوُجُوهِ الَّتِي رَأَيْتُهَا عِنْدَ نَهْرِ خَابُورَ، لَا تَخْتَلِفُ عَنْهَا فِي صُوَرِهَا وَمَعَالِمِهَا، وَكُلُّ وَاحِدٍ يَتَحَرَّكُ إِلَى الأَمَامِ حَسَبَ اتِّجَاهِهِ.

10 Io guardavo ed ecco, sul firmamento che stava sopra il capo dei cherubini, appariva sopra di essi come una pietra di zaffiro che somigliava nella forma a un trono.

2 L'Eterno parlò quindi all'uomo vestito di lino e disse: «Va' fra le ruote sotto il cherubino, riempiti le mani di carboni ardenti che sono fra i cherubini e spargili sulla città». Ed egli vi andò mentre io guardavo.

3 Quando l'uomo entrò, i cherubini stavano sulla destra del tempio e la nuvola riempiva il cortile interno.

4 Quindi la gloria dell'Eterno si alzò sopra il cherubino muovendo verso la soglia del tempio; allora il tempio fu ripieno della nuvola e il cortile fu ripieno dello splendore della gloria dell'Eterno.

5 Il rumore delle ali dei cherubini fu udito fin nel cortile esterno, come la voce di Dio onnipotente quando parla.

6 Ora, quando l'Eterno ebbe comandato all'uomo vestito di lino, dicendo: «Prendi il fuoco fra le ruote che sono tra i cherubini», egli andò a fermarsi vicino a una ruota.

7 Allora un cherubino stese la mano fra i cherubini verso il fuoco che era fra i cherubini, ne prese e lo mise nelle mani dell'uomo vestito di lino, che lo ricevette ed uscí.

8 Ora i cherubini sembravano avere la forma di una mano d'uomo sotto alle ali.

9 Guardai ancora ed ecco, a fianco dei cherubini vi erano quattro ruote, una ruota a fianco di ogni cherubino e un'altra ruota per ogni altro cherubino; le ruote avevano l'aspetto di una pietra di topazio.

10 Sembravano avere tutt'e quattro la medesima forma, come se una ruota fosse in mezzo all'altra.

11 Quando si muovevano, andavano verso una delle loro quattro direzioni e andando non si voltavano, ma seguivano la direzione verso la quale la testa era rivolta e, andando, non si voltavano.

12 Tutto il loro corpo, il loro dorso, le loro mani, le loro ali e le ruote, erano pieni di occhi tutt'intorno, sí, le ruote stesse che i quattro avevano.

13 Io udii che le ruote erano chiamate "Turbine".

14 Ogni cherubino aveva quattro facce: la prima faccia era faccia di cherubino, la seconda faccia era faccia d'uomo, la terza faccia di leone, la quarta faccia di aquila.

15 Poi i cherubini si alzarono. Essi erano gli stessi esseri viventi che avevo visto presso il fiume Kebar.

16 Quando i cherubini si muovevano, anche le ruote si muovevano al loro fianco e, quando i cherubini spiegavano le ali per alzarsi da terra, le ruote non si allontanavano dal loro fianco.

17 Quando essi si fermavano, si fermavano anch'esse; quando essi si alzavano, si alzavano anch'esse con loro, perché lo spirito degli esseri viventi era in esse.

18 La gloria dell'Eterno si allontanò quindi dalla soglia del tempio e si fermò sui cherubini.

19 Poi i cherubini spiegarono le loro ali e si sollevarono da terra sotto i miei occhi; mentre si allontanavano anche le ruote erano accanto a loro. Si fermarono quindi all'ingresso della porta che guarda a est della casa dell'Eterno, mentre la gloria del DIO d'Israele, stava in alto su di loro.

20 Erano gli stessi esseri viventi che avevo visto sotto il DIO d'Israele presso il fiume Kebara e riconobbi che erano cherubini.

21 Ognuno di loro aveva quattro facce, ognuno quattro ali, e sotto le loro ali appariva la forma di mani d'uomo.

22 Quanto all'aspetto delle loro facce, erano le stesse facce che avevo visto presso il fiume Kebar; erano le stesse loro sembianze e gli stessi cherubini. Ognuno andava diritto davanti a sé.

10 وَفَجْأةً، رَأيْتُ عَلَى القُبَّةِ الشَّبِيهَةِ بِاللَّازَوَرْدِ الَّتِي فَوْقَ مَلَائِكَةِ الكَرُوبِيمِ مَا يُشْبِهُ العَرْشَ. 2 حِينَئِذٍ، قَالَ لِلرَّجُلِ اللَّابِسِ الكِتَّانَ: «ادخُلْ إلَى مَا بَيْنَ الدَّوَالِيبِ الَّتِي تَحْتَ مَلَائِكَةِ الكرُوبِيمِ، وَاملأْ يَدَيْكَ بِجَمرٍ مِنْ عَلَى المَذْبَحِ الَّذِي يَتَوَسَّطُ مَلَائِكَةَ الكَرُوبِيمِ الأرْبَعَةَ، وَألقِ بِذَلِكَ الجَمرِ عَلَى المَدِينَةِ.» فَدَخَلَ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلُ أمَامَ عَينَيَّ. 3 وَكَانَتْ مَلَائِكَةُ الكَرُوبِيمِ وَاقِفَةً عَنْ يَمِينِ المَذْبَحِ. وَحِينَ دَخَلَ الرَّجُلُ، بَدَأتِ السُّحُبُ تُغَطِّي السَّاحَةَ الدَّاخِلِيَّةَ. 4 ثُمَّ ارتَفَعَ مَجْدُ اللهِ مِنْ عَلَى مَلَائِكَةِ الكَرُوبِيمِ وَذَهَبَ إلَى عَتَبَةِ الهَيْكَلِ. فَامتَلأ الهَيْكَلُ بِالسُّحُبِ، بَيْنَمَا امتَلأتِ السَّاحَةُ بِنُورِ مَجْدِ اللهِ. 5 وَكَانَ يُمْكِنُ سَمَاعُ صَوْتِ أجنِحَةِ مَلَائِكَةِ الكَرُوبِيمِ حَتَّى فِي السَّاحَةِ الخَارِجِيَّةِ، كَصَوْتِ اللهِ الجَبَّارِ[a] وَهُوَ يَتَكَلَّمُ.

6 وَحِينَ أمَرَ الرَّجُلَ اللَّابِسَ الكِتَّانَ بِأنْ يَأْخُذَ نَارًا مِنْ بَيْنِ الدَّوَالِيبِ، أيْ مِنْ بَيْنِ مَلَائِكَةِ الكَرُوبِيمِ، ذَهَبَ وَوَقَفَ قُرْبَ الدَّوَالِيبِ. 7 فَمَدَّ كَرُوبٌ يَدَهُ إلَى مِنطَقَةِ بَيْنَ مَلَائِكَةِ الكَرُوبِيمِ، إلَى النَّارِ الَّتِي تَتَوَسَّطُ مَلَائِكَةَ الكَرُوبِيمِ. وَأخَذَ جَمْرَةً وَوَضَعَهَا فِي يَدَيِّ اللَّابِسِ الكِتَّانَ، فَأخَذَهَا وَخَرَجَ. 8 وكَانَ لِمَلَائِكَةِ الكَرُوبِيمِ مَا بَدَا مِثْلُ أيدٍ بَشَرِيَّةٍ تَحْتَ أجنِحَتِهَا.

9 وَلَاحَظْتُ أرْبَعَةَ دَوَالِيبَ قُرْبَ مَلَائِكَةِ الكَرُوبِيمِ الأرْبَعَةِ، دُولَابًا لِكُلِّ كَرُوبٍ. وَكَانَتِ الدَّوَالِيبُ كَالبَلُّورِ. 10 وَبَدَتِ الدَّوَالِيبُ مُتَشَابِهَةً وَمُتَدَاخِلَةً، كُلُّ دُولَابٍ فِي الآخَرِ. 11 وَكَانَتِ الحَيَوَانَاتُ الأرْبَعَةُ تَتَحَرَّكُ مَعًا. وَكَانَتْ تَسِيرُ عَلَى جَوَانِبِهَا الأرْبَعَةِ، لَكِن لَمْ تَكُنْ تَدُورُ أوْ تَنْعَطِفُ حِينَ كَانَتْ تَتَحَرَّكُ. فَكَانَتْ تَسِيرُ بِالِاتِّجَاهِ الَّذِي يَسِيرُ فِيهِ الرَّأسُ، وَلَمْ تَكُنْ تَلْتَفُّ أوْ تَدُورُ فِي سَيرِهَا. 12 وَكَانَتْ أجسَامُ مَلَائِكَةِ الكَرُوبِيمِ الأرْبَعَةِ وَظُهُورُهَا وَأيدِيهَا وَأجنِحَتُهَا وَدَوَالِيبُهَا مُغَطَّاةً بِالعُيُونِ. 13 وَدُعِيَتِ الدَّوَالِيبُ أمَامِي بِالدَّوَالِيبِ الدَّوَّارَةِ. 14 وَكَانَ لِكُلِّ كَرُوبٍ أرْبَعَةُ وُجُوهٍ: الأوَّلُ وَجْهُ كَرُوبٍ، وَالثَّانِي وَجْهُ إنْسَانٍ، وَالثَّالِثُ وَجْهُ أسَدٍ، وَالرَّابِعُ وَجْهُ نَسرٍ. 15 ثُمَّ ارتَفَعَتْ مَلَائِكَةُ الكَرُوبِيمِ. هَذِهِ هِيَ الكَائِنَاتُ الَّتِي رَأيْتُهَا فِي الرُّؤيَا عِنْدَ نَهْرِ خَابُورَ. 16 وَحِينَ كَانَتْ مَلَائِكَةُ الكَرُوبِيمِ تَتَحَرَّكُ، كَانَتِ الدَّوَالِيبُ القَرِيبَةُ مِنْهَا تَتَحَرَّكُ مَعَهَا. وَحِينَ كَانَتْ مَلَائِكَةُ الكَرُوبِيمِ تَرْفَعُ أجنِحَتَهَا لِتَرْتَفِعَ عَنِ الأرْضِ، لَمْ تَكُنِ الدَّوَالِيبُ تُغّيِّرُ اتِّجَاهَهَا. 17 فَإذَا تَوَقَّفَت مَلَائِكَةُ الكَرُوبِيمِ، تَوَقَّفَتِ الدَّوَالِيبُ مَعَهَا. وَإذَا ارتَفَعَتْ، ارْتَفَعَتِ الدَّوَالِيبُ مَعَهَا، لِأنَّ رُوحَ الكَائِنَاتِ كَانَتْ فِيهَا.

18 وَتَرَكَ مَجْدُ اللهِ عَتَبَةَ الهَيْكَلِ وَوَقَفَ عَلَى مَلَائِكَةِ الكَرُوبِيمِ. 19 ثُمَّ رَفَعَتْ مَلَائِكَةُ الكَرُوبِيمِ أجنِحَتَهَا وَارتَفَعَتْ إلَى الهَوَاءِ أمَامَ عَيْنِي. وَحِينَ ارتَفَعَتْ، ارْتَفَعَتِ الدَّوَالِيبُ مَعَهَا. ثُمَّ وَقَفَتْ عِنْدَ مَدْخَلِ البَوَّابَةِ الشَّرقِيَّةِ لِبَيْتِ اللهِ، وَكَانَ مَجْدُ إلَهِ إسْرَائِيلَ عَلَيْهَا. 20 هَذِهِ هِيَ الكَائِنَاتُ الَّتِي رَأيْتُهَا تَحْتَ إلَهِ إسْرَائِيلَ عِنْدَ نَهْرِ خَابُورَ. فَأدرَكتُ الآنَ أنَّهَا مِنْ ملَائِكَةِ الكَرُوبِيمِ. 21 كَانَ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهَا أرْبَعَةُ وُجُوهٍ، وَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهَا أرْبَعَةُ أجنِحَةٍ. وَتَحْتَ أجنِحَتِهَا مَا يُشْبِهُ الأيدِي البَشَرِيَّةَ. 22 أمَّا الوُجُوهُ الأرْبَعَةُ فَهِيَ الَّتِي رَأيْتُهَا فِي الرُّؤيَا عِنْدَ نَهْرِ خَابُورَ. وَكَانَ كُلُّ كَائِنٍ مِنْهَا يَتَحَرَّكُ بِاسْتِقَامَةٍ إلَى الأمَامِ.

God’s Glory Departs From the Temple

10 I looked, and I saw the likeness of a throne(A) of lapis lazuli(B) above the vault(C) that was over the heads of the cherubim.(D) 2 The Lord said to the man clothed in linen,(E) “Go in among the wheels(F) beneath the cherubim. Fill(G) your hands with burning coals(H) from among the cherubim and scatter them over the city.” And as I watched, he went in.

3 Now the cherubim were standing on the south side of the temple when the man went in, and a cloud filled the inner court. 4 Then the glory of the Lord(I) rose from above the cherubim and moved to the threshold of the temple. The cloud filled the temple, and the court was full of the radiance of the glory of the Lord. 5 The sound of the wings of the cherubim could be heard as far away as the outer court, like the voice(J) of God Almighty[a] when he speaks.(K)

6 When the Lord commanded the man in linen, “Take fire from among the wheels,(L) from among the cherubim,” the man went in and stood beside a wheel. 7 Then one of the cherubim reached out his hand to the fire(M) that was among them. He took up some of it and put it into the hands of the man in linen, who took it and went out. 8 (Under the wings of the cherubim could be seen what looked like human hands.)(N)

9 I looked, and I saw beside the cherubim four wheels, one beside each of the cherubim; the wheels sparkled like topaz.(O) 10 As for their appearance, the four of them looked alike; each was like a wheel intersecting a wheel. 11 As they moved, they would go in any one of the four directions the cherubim faced; the wheels did not turn about[b] as the cherubim went. The cherubim went in whatever direction the head faced, without turning as they went. 12 Their entire bodies, including their backs, their hands and their wings, were completely full of eyes,(P) as were their four wheels.(Q) 13 I heard the wheels being called “the whirling wheels.” 14 Each of the cherubim(R) had four faces:(S) One face was that of a cherub, the second the face of a human being, the third the face of a lion,(T) and the fourth the face of an eagle.(U)

15 Then the cherubim rose upward. These were the living creatures(V) I had seen by the Kebar River.(W) 16 When the cherubim moved, the wheels beside them moved; and when the cherubim spread their wings to rise from the ground, the wheels did not leave their side. 17 When the cherubim stood still, they also stood still; and when the cherubim rose, they rose with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in them.(X)

18 Then the glory(Y) of the Lord departed from over the threshold of the temple and stopped above the cherubim.(Z) 19 While I watched, the cherubim spread their wings and rose from the ground, and as they went, the wheels went with them.(AA) They stopped at the entrance of the east gate of the Lord’s house, and the glory(AB) of the God of Israel was above them.

20 These were the living creatures I had seen beneath the God of Israel by the Kebar River,(AC) and I realized that they were cherubim. 21 Each had four faces(AD) and four wings,(AE) and under their wings was what looked like human hands. 22 Their faces had the same appearance as those I had seen by the Kebar River.(AF) Each one went straight ahead.
