²⁰Then Jesus [sternly] warned his ·followers [disciples] not to tell anyone he was the ·Christ [Messiah].

²⁰Then He sternly and strictly charged and warned the disciples to tell no one that He was Jesus the Christ.

²⁰Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.
