²⁷耶稣立刻对他们说：“放心吧！是我，不要怕。” ²⁸彼得对他说：“主啊，如果是你，让我在水面上到你那里去。” ²⁹他说：“来吧！”彼得就从船上下来，行在水面上，走向耶稣那里去。

²⁷But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage!^(A) It is I. Don’t be afraid.”^(B)

²⁸“Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”

²⁹“Come,” he said.

Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.
