34 於是把眾人和門徒都叫過來，對他們說：“如果有人願意跟從我，就應當捨己，背起他的十字架來跟從我。 35 凡是想救自己生命的，必喪掉生命；但為我和福音犧牲生命的，必救了生命。 36 人就是賺得全世界，卻賠上自己的生命，有甚麼好處呢？

The Way of the Cross
34 Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.(A) 35 For whoever wants to save their life[a] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.(B) 36 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?
