31 「又有吩咐：『如果有人休妻，要給妻子一份休書。』[a] 32 但是我告訴你們：凡是休妻的，除非為了淫亂的緣故，否則就是讓她犯通姦罪了；凡是娶了被休的女人的，也是犯通姦罪。
說誠實話
33 「另外，你們聽過那吩咐古人的話：『不可起假誓。你所起的誓，總要向主償還。』[b]

31 “It has been said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.’[a](A) 32 But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.(B)

33 “Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘Do not break your oath,(C) but fulfill to the Lord the vows you have made.’(D)
