論婚姻
19 當耶穌講完了這些話，就離開加利利，來到約旦河對岸的猶太地區。 2 有一大群人跟隨他，他就在那裡使他們痊癒。 3 有些法利賽人前來試探耶穌，說：「無論出於什麼緣故，人是否可以休妻呢？」
4 耶穌回答說：「你們難道沒有讀過嗎？造物主從起初就把人造成男的和女的。[a] 5 並且說：
『為這緣故，人將離開父母，
與妻子結合，
兩個人就成為一體。』[b]
6 這樣，夫妻不再是兩個人，而是一體了。因此，神所配合的，人不可分開。」
7 他們問耶穌：「那麼，為什麼摩西吩咐說，給一份休書，就可以休妻呢？」
8 耶穌對他們說：「摩西因著你們的心裡剛硬，才准許你們休妻，但並不是從起初就這樣的。 9 我告訴你們：如果有人不是由於淫亂的緣故而休妻，另娶別人，就是犯通姦罪。[c]」
10 他的門徒們對耶穌說：「如果丈夫與妻子的關係是這樣，結婚就沒有益處了。」
11 耶穌就對他們說：「這話不是所有人都能接受的，只有誰被賜予了，誰才能接受： 12 就是說，有些獨身者[d]是生來[e]如此的；有些獨身者是別人使他們成為獨身的[f]；還有些獨身者是為了天國的緣故自己成為獨身的。誰能接受，就接受吧。」
祝福小孩子
13 那時，有一些小孩子被帶到耶穌那裡，好讓耶穌按手在他們身上，給他們禱告。門徒們卻責備那些人。 14 耶穌就說：「讓小孩子到我這裡來，不要阻止他們，因為天國正屬於這樣的人。」 15 於是，耶穌按手在他們身上，然後離開那地方。
富有的青年官員
16 看哪，有一個人上前來對耶穌說：「老師[g]，我該做什麼良善的事，才能得到永恆的生命呢？」
17 耶穌對他說：「你為什麼問我有關良善的事呢？只有一位是良善的[h]。如果你想進入永生[i]，就應該遵守誡命。」 18 那個人就問：「哪些誡命呢？」
耶穌回答說：
「不可殺人、
不可通姦、
不可偷竊、
不可做偽證、
19 要孝敬父母、
要愛鄰如己。」[j]
20 那年輕人對耶穌說：「這一切[k]我都遵守了，我還缺少什麼呢？」
21 耶穌對他說：「如果你想要成為完全的，就當去賣掉你所擁有的，分給窮人，這樣你將有財寶在天上；然後你來跟從我。」
22 那年輕人聽了這話，就憂憂愁愁地走開了，因為他有很多財產。
財富與天國
23 耶穌對他的門徒們說：「我確實地告訴你們：富有的人進入天國會很困難。 24 我再告訴你們：駱駝穿過針眼，比富有的人進入神的國更容易呢！」
25 門徒們聽了這話，極其驚訝，就說：「究竟誰能得救呢？」
26 耶穌注視著他們，說：「在人，這是不可能的；但是在神，凡事都可能。」
27 這時候，彼得對耶穌說：「看，我們捨棄一切跟從了你，我們將來究竟會怎麼樣呢？」
28 耶穌對他們說：「我確實地告訴你們：在新的世界裡，當人子坐在他榮耀寶座上的時候，你們這些跟從我的人也要坐在十二個寶座上，審判以色列的十二個支派。 29 凡是為我名的緣故而捨棄房屋，或兄弟，或姐妹，或父親，或母親，[l]或兒女，或田產的人，都將得到百倍，並且繼承永恆的生命。 30 不過許多在前的，將要在後；許多在後的，將要在前。

13 那時，有人帶了小孩子到耶穌面前，求他給他們按手祈禱，門徒就責備那些人。 14 但耶穌說：“讓小孩子到我這裡來，不要禁止他們，因為天國是屬於這樣的人的。” 15 於是他給他們按手，然後離開那裡。

16 有一個人前來見耶穌，說：“老師，我要作甚麼善事，才可以得著永生？” 17 耶穌說：“為甚麼問我關於善的事呢？只有一位是善的。如果你想進入永生，就應當遵守誡命。” 18 他問：“甚麼誡命？”耶穌回答：“就是‘不可殺人，不可姦淫，不可偷盜，不可作假證供； 19 當孝敬父母，當愛人如己’。” 20 那青年對他說：“這一切我都遵守了，還缺少甚麼呢？” 21 耶穌對他說：“如果你想要完全，就去變賣你所有的，分給窮人，你就必定有財寶在天上，而且你要來跟從我。” 22 那青年聽見這話，就憂憂愁愁地走了，原來他的財產很多。

3 有几个法利赛人到耶稣那里想试探祂，便问祂：“丈夫可以用任何理由休妻吗？”
4 耶稣回答说：“你们没有读过吗？太初，造物主造了男人和女人，并且说， 5 ‘因此，人要离开父母，与妻子结合，二人成为一体。’ 6 这样，夫妻不再是两个人，而是一体了。因此，上帝配合的，人不可分开。”
7 他们追问：“那么，为什么摩西说，只要给妻子休书，就可以休她呢？”
8 耶稣说：“因为摩西知道你们铁石心肠，所以才准你们休妻。但起初并不是这样。 9 我告诉你们，除非是妻子不贞，否则，任何人休妻另娶，就是犯通奸罪[a]。”
10 门徒对耶稣说：“如果夫妻关系是这样，还不如不结婚。”
11 耶稣说：“这话不是每个人都能接受的，只有那些得到这种恩赐的人才能接受。 12 人不结婚的原因很多，有些是因为先天的缺陷，有些是被人阉了，也有些是为了天国而自己放弃结婚的权利。谁能接受，就让他接受吧。”
耶稣为小孩子祝福
13 有人带着小孩子来见耶稣，请求耶稣为他们按手祷告，却受到门徒的责备。
14 耶稣说：“让小孩子到我这里来，不要阻止他们，因为天国属于这样的人。” 15 于是祂为他们按手祷告，然后才离开那里。
有钱的青年
16 有一个人来请教耶稣：“老师，我该做什么善事才能获得永生呢？”
17 耶稣说：“你为什么问我做什么善事？只有上帝是善的，你要得永生，就必须遵守祂的诫命。”
18 那人问：“什么诫命呢？”
耶稣答道：“不可杀人，不可通奸，不可偷盗，不可作伪证， 19 要孝敬父母，并且爱邻如己。”
20 那青年说：“这些我早已遵守了，还缺什么呢？”
21 耶稣告诉他：“如果你想做到纯全，就去变卖所有的产业，送给穷人，你就必有财宝存在天上，然后你来跟从我。” 22 那青年听后，便忧伤地走了，因为他有许多产业。
23 事后，耶稣对门徒说：“我实在告诉你们，有钱人进天国很困难。 24 我再告诉你们，骆驼穿过针眼比有钱人进上帝的国还容易呢！”
25 门徒听了，惊奇地问：“这样，谁能得救呢？”
26 耶稣看着他们说：“对人而言，这不可能；但对上帝而言，凡事都可能。”
27 彼得问道：“你看，我们已经撇下一切来跟从你了，将来会有什么奖赏呢？”
28 耶稣说：“我实在告诉你们，到万物更新、人子坐在祂荣耀的宝座上时，你们这些跟从我的人也要坐在十二个宝座上，审判以色列的十二个支派。 29 无论谁为我的名而撇下房屋、弟兄、姊妹、父母、儿女或田地，都要得到百倍的赏赐，而且承受永生。 30 然而，许多为首的将要殿后，殿后的将要为首。”

19 When Jesus had finished saying these things,(B) he left Galilee and went into the region of Judea to the other side of the Jordan. 2 Large crowds followed him, and he healed them(C) there.
3 Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife(D) for any and every reason?”
4 “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’[a](E) 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’[b]?(F) 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
7 “Why then,” they asked, “did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?”(G)
8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. 9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”(H)
10 The disciples said to him, “If this is the situation between a husband and wife, it is better not to marry.”
11 Jesus replied, “Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given.(I) 12 For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others—and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.”
The Little Children and Jesus(J)
13 Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them(K) and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them.
14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs(L) to such as these.”(M) 15 When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.
The Rich and the Kingdom of God(N)
16 Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life(O)?”(P)
17 “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”(Q)
18 “Which ones?” he inquired.
Jesus replied, “‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery,(R) you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, 19 honor your father and mother,’[c](S) and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’[d]”(T)
20 “All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?”
21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect,(U) go, sell your possessions and give to the poor,(V) and you will have treasure in heaven.(W) Then come, follow me.”
22 When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.
23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich(X) to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”(Y)
27 Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you!(Z) What then will there be for us?”
28 Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne,(AA) you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.(AB) 29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife[e] or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.(AC) 30 But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.(AD)
