登山變象
17 六天後，耶穌帶著彼得、雅各和雅各的兄弟約翰暗暗地登上一座高山。 2 耶穌在他們面前改變了形像，面貌如太陽一樣發光，衣服潔白如光。 3 忽然，摩西和以利亞一起出現，跟耶穌談話。 4 彼得對耶穌說：「主啊，我們在這裡好極了。如果你願意，我就在這裡搭三座帳篷，一座給你，一座給摩西，一座給以利亞。」
5 他正在說話的時候，一朵燦爛的雲彩籠罩他們。雲中傳出聲音：「這是我的愛子，我甚喜悅祂，你們要聽從祂。」
6 門徒聽見這聲音，便俯伏在地，非常懼怕。 7 耶穌就過來摸他們，說：「起來吧，別害怕。」 8 他們抬起頭來，看見只剩下耶穌一個人。
9 下山時，耶穌叮囑他們：「人子還沒有從死裡復活以前，不要把剛才看見的告訴別人。」
10 門徒問耶穌：「律法教師為什麼說以利亞必須先來？」
11 耶穌回答說：「以利亞的確要來，他將復興一切。 12 但我告訴你們，以利亞已經來了，人們卻不認識他，甚至還任意對待他。人子同樣也會在他們手下受苦。」 13 門徒這才明白耶穌所說的是指施洗者約翰。
治好被鬼附身的孩子
14 他們回到山下眾人聚集的地方。有一個人過來跪在耶穌跟前，說： 15 「主啊！救救我的兒子吧！他患了癲癇症，痛苦極了，曾經幾次跌進火中，掉進水裡。 16 我帶他去見你的門徒，但他們卻不能治好他。」
17 耶穌說：「唉！這世代又不信又敗壞的人啊，我要跟你們在一起待多久？我要容忍你們多久呢？把他帶來吧。」 18 耶穌斥責附在孩子身上的鬼，鬼就離開了那孩子，從此他就好了。
19 事後，門徒私下問耶穌：「我們為什麼趕不走那鬼呢？」
20 耶穌說：「你們的信心太小了。我實在告訴你們，你們若有像芥菜種那樣大的信心，就算叫這座山從這裡移到那裡，它也會移開，你們將沒有辦不到的事。 21 至於這一類的鬼，你們必須禱告和禁食才能把牠趕走。」
耶穌第二次預言受害和復活
22 他們聚集在加利利的時候，耶穌對他們說：「人子將要被出賣，交在人手裡。 23 他們將殺害祂，第三天祂將復活。」門徒聽了，十分憂愁。
從魚口得稅錢
24 他們來到迦百農，有幾個收聖殿稅的來問彼得：「你們的老師不納聖殿稅嗎？」
25 彼得說「納！」他進了屋，還沒開口，耶穌便問他：「西門，你有何看法？世上的君王向誰徵收賦稅？向自己的兒子呢，還是向外人呢？」
26 彼得答道：「向外人。」
耶穌說：「所以兒子不用納稅。 27 但為了避免得罪這些人，你就去湖邊釣魚，把釣上來的第一條魚的嘴打開，裡面有一個錢幣，拿它去繳你我的稅好了。」

La transfiguración
17 (A)Seis días después, Jesús tomó* consigo a Pedro(B), a Jacobo[a] y a Juan su hermano, y los llevó* aparte a un monte alto; 2 y se transfiguró delante de ellos; y su rostro resplandeció como el sol, y sus vestiduras se volvieron blancas como la luz. 3 Y he aquí, se les aparecieron Moisés y Elías hablando con Él. 4 Entonces Pedro, tomando la palabra, dijo a Jesús: Señor, bueno es estarnos aquí; si quieres, haré aquí tres enramadas[b], una para ti, otra[c] para Moisés y otra[d] para Elías(C). 5 Mientras estaba aún hablando, he aquí, una nube luminosa los cubrió; y[e] una voz salió de la nube(D), diciendo: Este es mi Hijo amado(E) en quien me he complacido; a Él oíd. 6 Cuando los discípulos oyeron esto, cayeron sobre sus rostros y tuvieron gran temor. 7 Entonces se les acercó Jesús, y tocándolos, dijo: Levantaos y no temáis(F). 8 Y cuando alzaron sus ojos no vieron a nadie, sino a Jesús solo.
Elías y Juan el Bautista
9 (G)Mientras descendían del monte, Jesús les ordenó, diciendo: No contéis a nadie la visión(H) hasta que el Hijo del Hombre(I) haya resucitado de entre los muertos(J). 10 Y sus discípulos le preguntaron, diciendo: ¿Por qué, pues, dicen los escribas que Elías(K) debe venir primero? 11 Y respondiendo Él, dijo: Elías ciertamente viene, y restaurará todas las cosas; 12 pero yo os digo que Elías ya vino y no lo reconocieron, sino que le hicieron[f] todo lo que quisieron. Así también el Hijo del Hombre(L) va a padecer a manos de ellos. 13 Entonces los discípulos entendieron que les había hablado de Juan el Bautista.
Jesús sana a un muchacho epiléptico
14 (M)Cuando llegaron a la multitud, se le acercó un hombre, que arrodillándose delante de Él, dijo: 15 Señor, ten misericordia de mi hijo, porque es epiléptico[g](N) y sufre terriblemente, porque muchas veces cae en el fuego y muchas en el agua. 16 Y lo traje a tus discípulos y ellos no pudieron curarlo. 17 Respondiendo Jesús, dijo: ¡Oh generación incrédula y perversa! ¿Hasta cuándo estaré con vosotros? ¿Hasta cuándo os tendré que soportar? Traédmelo acá. 18 Y Jesús lo reprendió y el demonio salió de él, y el muchacho quedó curado desde aquel momento[h].
19 Entonces los discípulos, llegándose a Jesús en privado, dijeron: ¿Por qué nosotros no pudimos expulsarlo? 20 Y Él les dijo*: Por vuestra poca fe; porque en verdad os digo que si tenéis fe(O) como un grano de mostaza(P), diréis a este monte(Q): «Pásate de aquí allá», y se pasará; y nada os será imposible(R). 21 [i]Pero esta clase no sale sino con oración y ayuno(S).
Jesús anuncia otra vez su muerte
22 (T)Mientras andaban juntos por Galilea, Jesús les dijo: El Hijo del Hombre va a ser entregado en manos de los hombres. 23 Y le matarán, y al tercer día resucitará(U). Y ellos se entristecieron mucho.
Pago del impuesto del templo
24 Cuando llegaron a Capernaúm, se acercaron a Pedro los que cobraban el impuesto de dos dracmas[j](V) y dijeron: ¿No paga vuestro maestro las dos dracmas(W)? 25 Él dijo*: Sí. Y cuando él llegó a casa, Jesús se le anticipó[k], diciendo: ¿Qué te parece, Simón? ¿De quiénes cobran tributos(X) o impuestos(Y) los reyes de la tierra, de sus hijos o de los extraños? 26 Y cuando respondió: De los extraños, Jesús le dijo: Entonces los hijos están exentos[l]. 27 Sin embargo, para que no los escandalicemos[m](Z), ve al mar, echa el anzuelo, y toma el primer pez que salga[n]; y cuando le abras la boca hallarás un estáter[o]; tómalo y dáselo por ti y por mí.

Jesus Transfigured on the Mount(A)
17 Now (B)after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; 2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. 3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. 4 Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, [a]let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
5 (C)While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, (D)“This is My beloved Son, (E)in whom I am well pleased. (F)Hear Him!” 6 (G)And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. 7 But Jesus came and (H)touched them and said, “Arise, and do not be afraid.” 8 When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.
9 Now as they came down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, “Tell the vision to no one until the Son of Man is risen from the dead.”
10 And His disciples asked Him, saying, (I)“Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
11 Jesus answered and said to them, “Indeed, Elijah is coming [b]first and will (J)restore all things. 12 (K)But I say to you that Elijah has come already, and they (L)did not know him but did to him whatever they wished. Likewise (M)the Son of Man is also about to suffer at their hands.” 13 (N)Then the disciples understood that He spoke to them of John the Baptist.
A Boy Is Healed(O)
14 (P)And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is [c]an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. 16 So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.”
17 Then Jesus answered and said, “O [d]faithless and (Q)perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” 18 And Jesus (R)rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.
19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”
20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your [e]unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, (S)if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. 21 [f]However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”
Jesus Again Predicts His Death and Resurrection(T)
22 (U)Now while they were [g]staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men, 23 and they will kill Him, and the third day He will be raised up.” And they were exceedingly (V)sorrowful.
Peter and His Master Pay Their Taxes
24 (W)When they had come to [h]Capernaum, those who received the [i]temple tax came to Peter and said, “Does your Teacher not pay the temple tax?”
25 He said, “Yes.”
And when he had come into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, “What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth take customs or taxes, from their sons or from (X)strangers?”
26 Peter said to Him, “From strangers.”
Jesus said to him, “Then the sons are free. 27 Nevertheless, lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a [j]piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you.”

17 Seis días después Jesús se llevó aparte a Pedro, a Jacobo y a su hermano Juan. Los llevó a un monte alto, 2 y allí se transfiguró delante de ellos.(B) Su rostro resplandecía como el sol, y sus vestidos se hicieron blancos como la luz. 3 De pronto se les aparecieron Moisés y Elías, y hablaban con él. 4 Pedro dijo entonces a Jesús: «Señor, ¡qué bueno es para nosotros estar aquí! Si quieres, podemos hacer tres cobertizos: uno para ti, otro para Moisés, y otro para Elías.» 5 Todavía estaba hablando cuando una nube de luz los cubrió, y desde la nube se oyó una voz que decía: «Éste es mi Hijo amado, en quien me complazco.(C) ¡Escúchenlo!» 6 Al oír esto los discípulos, se postraron sobre sus rostros, llenos de miedo; 7 pero Jesús se acercó a ellos, los tocó y les dijo: «Levántense; no tengan miedo.» 8 Y cuando ellos alzaron la vista, no vieron a nadie más que a Jesús.
9 Cuando descendieron del monte, Jesús les mandó: «No digan nada a nadie de esta visión, hasta que el Hijo del Hombre resucite de los muertos.» 10 Entonces sus discípulos le preguntaron: «¿Por qué dicen los escribas que es necesario que Elías venga primero?»(D) 11 Jesús les respondió: «A decir verdad, Elías vendrá primero y restaurará todas las cosas. 12 Pero yo les digo que Elías ya vino,(E) y no lo reconocieron, sino que hicieron con él todo lo que quisieron. Así también el Hijo del Hombre padecerá a manos de ellos.» 13 Al escuchar esto, los discípulos comprendieron que les estaba hablando de Juan el Bautista.
Jesús sana a un muchacho lunático(F)
14 Cuando llegaron a donde estaba la multitud, un hombre se le acercó, se arrodilló delante de él, y le dijo: 15 «¡Señor, ten compasión de mi hijo! Es lunático, y padece muchísimo. Muchas veces se cae en el fuego, y muchas otras en el agua. 16 Lo he llevado a tus discípulos, pero no lo han podido sanar.» 17 Jesús dijo: «¡Ay, gente incrédula y perversa! ¿Hasta cuándo tendré que estar con ustedes? ¿Hasta cuándo tendré que soportarlos? ¡Tráiganmelo acá!» 18 Jesús reprendió entonces al demonio, y éste salió del muchacho, y desde aquel mismo instante el muchacho quedó sano. 19 Después los discípulos hablaron con Jesús aparte, y le preguntaron: «¿Por qué nosotros no pudimos expulsarlo?» 20 Jesús les dijo: «Porque ustedes tienen muy poca fe. De cierto les digo, que si tuvieran fe como un grano de mostaza, le dirían a este monte: “Quítate de allí y vete a otro lugar”, y el monte les obedecería.(G) ¡Nada sería imposible para ustedes!» 21 [Pero este género no sale sino con oración y ayuno.][a]
Jesús anuncia otra vez su muerte(H)
22 Cuando ellos estaban en Galilea, Jesús les dijo: «El Hijo del Hombre será entregado a los poderes de este mundo, 23 y lo matarán, pero al tercer día resucitará.» Al oír esto, ellos se entristecieron mucho.

24 Cuando llegaron a Cafarnaún, los que cobraban las dos dracmas se acercaron a Pedro(I) y le dijeron: «¿Su Maestro no paga las dos dracmas?» 25 Él les respondió que sí. Pero cuando Pedro entró en la casa, Jesús le habló primero y le dijo: «¿Qué te parece, Simón? Los reyes de la tierra, ¿de quiénes cobran los tributos o los impuestos? ¿De sus hijos, o de los extraños?» 26 Pedro le respondió: «De los extraños». Jesús le dijo: «Por lo tanto, los hijos quedan exentos de pagarlos. 27 Sin embargo, para no ofenderlos, ve al lago, echa el anzuelo, y toma el primer pez que saques. Al abrirle la boca, hallarás una moneda. Tómala, y dásela a ellos por ti y por mí.»
