²⁷耶穌立刻對他們說：「鼓起勇氣吧！是我，不要怕。」

²⁸彼得對他說：「主啊，如果是你，請吩咐我，從水面上走到你那裡去。」

²⁹耶穌說：「你來吧！」

彼得就從船上下去，在水面上行走向耶穌那裡去。

²⁷But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage!^(A) It is I. Don’t be afraid.”^(B)

²⁸“Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”

²⁹“Come,” he said.

Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.
