²²邪靈經常把他扔進火裡或水裡，要害死他。但你如果能做什麼，就求你憐憫我們，幫助我們！」

²³耶穌對他說：「『如果你能』？^[a]——對信的人，一切都能。」

²⁴那孩子的父親立刻^[b]喊著說：「^[c]我信！但我的不信之處，求你幫助！」

²²“It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.”

²³“‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”^(A)

²⁴Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
