27 耶穌和他的門徒們往凱撒里亞菲利彼的那些村莊去。在路上，耶穌問他的門徒們，說：「人們說我是誰？」
28 他們回答他，說：「是施洗者[a]約翰，有的說是以利亞，也有的說是先知中的一位。」
29 耶穌又問他們：「那麼你們呢？你們說我是誰？」
彼得回答說：「你是基督！」

Peter Declares That Jesus Is the Messiah(A)
27 Jesus and his disciples went on to the villages around Caesarea Philippi. On the way he asked them, “Who do people say I am?”
28 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist;(B) others say Elijah;(C) and still others, one of the prophets.”
29 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
Peter answered, “You are the Messiah.”(D)
