10 死人的伯叔，就是烧他尸首的，要将这尸首搬到房外，问房屋内间的人说：“你那里还有人没有？”他必说：“没有。”又说：“不要作声！因为我们不可提耶和华的名。” 11 看哪，耶和华出令，大房就被攻破，小屋就被打裂。

斥其虚浮变乱公义

12 马岂能在崖石上奔跑？人岂能在那里用牛耕种呢？你们却使公平变为苦胆，使公义的果子变为茵陈。

10 And if the relative who comes to carry the bodies out of the house to burn them[a](A) asks anyone who might be hiding there, “Is anyone else with you?” and he says, “No,” then he will go on to say, “Hush!(B) We must not mention the name of the Lord.”

11 For the Lord has given the command,
    and he will smash(C) the great house(D) into pieces
    and the small house into bits.(E)

12 Do horses run on the rocky crags?
    Does one plow the sea[b] with oxen?
But you have turned justice into poison(F)
    and the fruit of righteousness(G) into bitterness(H)—
