Jezus leeft weer!
24 Op zondagmorgen vroeg gingen ze meteen naar het graf. Ze hadden de speciale kruiden bij zich. 2 Maar ze ontdekten dat de steen voor de ingang was weggerold. 3 Toen ze naar binnen stapten, zagen ze dat het lichaam van de Here Jezus er niet meer was. 4 Ze wisten niet wat ze daarmee aan moesten. Plotseling waren er twee mannen bij hen, in blinkende kleren. 5 De schrik sloeg de vrouwen om het hart en ze bogen zich diep neer. De mannen vroegen: ‘Waarom komt u in een graf zoeken naar de Levende? 6 Hij is hier niet. Hij leeft weer! Herinnert u zich niet wat Hij heeft gezegd toen u nog met Hem in Galilea was? 7 Hij zei immers dat Hij, de Mensenzoon, door verraad in de handen van slechte mensen zou vallen en door hen gekruisigd zou worden. Maar ook dat hij op de derde dag uit de dood zou opstaan.’ 8 Zij herinnerden zich dat Hij dat inderdaad had gezegd.
9 Ze holden terug naar Jeruzalem om aan de elf apostelen en al de anderen te vertellen wat er gebeurd was. 10 Maar toen de vrouwen—het waren Maria van Magdala, Johanna, Maria (de moeder van Jakobus) en verschillende anderen—het aan de apostelen vertelden, 11 wilden die het niet geloven. Ze zeiden dat het onzin was. 12 Petrus liep toch vlug naar het graf om eens te kijken. Hij bukte zich voorover, keek naar binnen en zag alleen de lege windsels liggen. Op weg terug vroeg hij zich verwonderd af wat er gebeurd kon zijn.
Jezus verschijnt aan zijn leerlingen
13 Diezelfde dag waren twee van Jezusʼ leerlingen op weg naar het dorp Emmaüs, tien kilometer buiten Jeruzalem. 14 Ze spraken met elkaar over alle gebeurtenissen. 15 Terwijl ze zo liepen te praten, haalde iemand hen in en liep met hen mee. Het was Jezus Zelf! 16 Maar zij herkenden Hem niet. Ze waren verblind. 17 ‘Waarover loopt u zo druk te praten?’ vroeg Hij. 18 Ze bleven stilstaan en een van hen, Kleopas, zei: ‘U bent zeker de enige in heel Jeruzalem die niet weet wat voor verschrikkelijke dingen er de afgelopen dagen zijn gebeurd!’ 19 ‘Wat voor dingen dan?’ vroeg Jezus. ‘Wel,’ zeiden ze, ‘wat ze hebben gedaan met Jezus van Nazareth. Die man was een profeet. Hij deed ongelooflijke wonderen en was een geweldige leraar. Hij stond hoog in aanzien bij God en de mensen. 20 Maar de hogepriesters en leiders van ons volk hebben Hem gevangengenomen en uitgeleverd aan de Romeinen. En die hebben Hem gekruisigd. 21 Wij dachten nog wel dat Hij de Christus was, de bevrijder van Israël. Maar het is nu al de derde dag sinds ze Hem hebben gedood. 22 Een paar vrouwen van onze groep kwamen vandaag met een wonderlijk verhaal. Ze vertelden dat ze vanmorgen vroeg bij Jezusʼ graf waren geweest 23 en dat zijn lichaam weg was. Ze hadden ook engelen gezien die zeiden dat Hij leeft. 24 Een paar van ons gingen er onmiddellijk heen om te kijken. En inderdaad, het lichaam was weg, zoals de vrouwen hadden gezegd. Maar Jezus zagen ze niet.’
25 Jezus zei tegen hen: ‘Wat bent u toch dom! Wat hebt u moeite om alles te geloven wat door de profeten is gezegd. 26 De Christus moest immers al die vreselijke dingen doormaken voor Hij zijn heerlijkheid zou binnengaan?’ 27 Hij herinnerde hen aan allerlei gedeelten uit de boeken van Mozes en de profeten. Hij legde hun uit wat ze betekenden en wat ze over de Christus zeiden.
28 Ondertussen waren ze bijna bij het dorp gekomen waar ze moesten zijn. 29 Jezus deed alsof hij verder wilde lopen, maar zij lieten Hem niet gaan en zeiden: ‘Blijf vannacht bij ons. Het is al te laat geworden om nog verder te reizen.’ 30 Hij ging met hen mee naar huis om er de nacht door te brengen. Terwijl ze met elkaar aan tafel zaten, nam Hij het brood, dankte God ervoor, brak het in stukken en gaf het hun. 31 Plotseling gingen hun ogen open en herkenden zij Hem. Op hetzelfde moment was Hij verdwenen. 32 Ze zeiden tegen elkaar: ‘Weet je nog hoe diep we in ons hart geraakt werden, toen Hij met ons liep te praten en ons een glasheldere uitleg gaf over wat in de Boeken staat?’
33 Ze stonden onmiddellijk op en liepen vlug terug naar Jeruzalem. Daar vonden ze de elf leerlingen van Jezus en zijn andere volgelingen allemaal bij elkaar. 34 Zodra die hen zagen, zeiden ze: ‘Het is toch waar! De Here is weer levend geworden! Simon heeft Hem gezien!’ 35 De twee mannen uit Emmaüs vertelden dat zij Jezus ook hadden gezien. Dat Hij met hen was meegelopen en dat ze Hem pas hadden herkend toen Hij het brood brak.
36 Terwijl zij nog aan het vertellen waren, stond Jezus plotseling bij hen. 37 Ze schrokken allemaal en dachten dat Hij een geest was. 38 ‘Waarom zijn jullie zo van streek?’ vroeg Hij. ‘Waarom twijfelen jullie eraan of Ik het werkelijk ben? 39 Kijk maar eens naar mijn handen en mijn voeten. Ik ben het echt. Voel maar, een geest heeft geen vlees en botten en ik wel, zoals jullie zien.’ 40 Terwijl Hij dit zei, liet Hij zijn handen en voeten zien. 41 Hoewel ze heel blij waren, leek hun dit te mooi om waar te zijn. Ze konden het gewoon niet geloven. Om hen te overtuigen, zei Hij: ‘Hebben jullie hier iets te eten?’ 42 Ze gaven Hem een stuk geroosterde vis 43 en zagen dat Hij het opat. 44 Hij zei: ‘Herinneren jullie je niet meer wat Ik heb gezegd, toen Ik nog bij jullie was? Ik heb gezegd dat alles wat over Mij in de boeken van Mozes en de profeten en in de Psalmen staat, werkelijkheid moet worden.’ 45 Hij legde hun uit wat in die boeken stond, zo duidelijk dat ze het ineens helemaal begrepen. 46 ‘Dus,’ zei Hij, ‘het was al lang voorzegd dat de Christus zou lijden en sterven. En op de derde dag zou Hij weer levend worden. 47 Van Jeruzalem uit zou dit bericht over de hele wereld uitgaan: “Ieder die zijn zonden aan Christus belijdt, krijgt vergeving.” 48 Jullie hebben nu zelf gezien dat deze woorden zijn uitgekomen.
49 Luister: Ik zal de Heilige Geest sturen. Hij zal over jullie komen, zoals mijn Vader heeft beloofd. Blijf hier in de stad wachten tot jullie kracht uit de hemel hebben ontvangen.’ 50 Toen nam Jezus hen mee naar Bethanië. Hij hief zijn handen op en zegende hen. 51 Terwijl Hij dat deed, werd Hij opgenomen in de hemel. 52 Zij vielen in aanbidding voor Hem neer. Daarna gingen zij met grote vreugde terug naar Jeruzalem. 53 Ze bleven voortdurend in de tempel om God te eren en te danken.

24 星期日一大早，那些妇女就来到了耶稣墓旁，并且带来了准备好的香料， 2 可是，她们却发现墓穴里的石头滚到了一边， 3 她们便走了进去，却没有找到耶稣的尸体。 4 正当她们为此事纳闷时，忽然，有两个穿着耀眼衣服的男子站在她们身边。 5 她们非常惊恐，吓得扑倒在地，这时，两个人对她们说∶“你们为什么要在死人里找活人呢？ 6 他不在这里，他复活了！记住他在加利利时就告诉你们的话： 7 他说过∶‘人子’必定会被交到罪人的手里，他一定会被钉死在十字架上，他又一定会在第三天复活。” 8 这时，她们想起了耶稣说过的话。

他们停下脚步，看上去非常悲伤。 18 其中一个名叫革流巴，对他说∶“难道你是住在耶路撒冷的人里唯一不知道最近几天所发生的事情的人吧？”
19 耶稣又问∶“什么事情呢？”
他们对他说∶“关于拿撒勒的耶稣的事情，就是这个人，他用自己的言行证明了他在上帝和所有人们的面前是一个伟大的先知。 20 我们刚才正在议论着，我们的祭司长和统治者是怎么把他判处死刑，并把他钉死在十字架上的。 21 我们原来还盼望着，他是那位将赎回以色列的人呢。可是，除此之外，今天是他遇难的第三天。 22 现在我们当中的一些妇女使我们震惊：她们今天一大早，到他的墓地那里去了， 23 但是却没有发现他的尸体。她们来告诉我们，她们看到了天使，天使告诉她们耶稣还活着。 24 听完以后，我们当中有一些人到他的墓穴去看，果然发现正像那几个女子说的那样，他们也没有看到他。”
25 然后耶稣对他们说∶“你们是多么的愚蠢和迟钝，竟不相信先知所有的话！ 26 基督进入他的荣耀前，首先得遭受这些苦难，难道这不是必要的吗？” 27 接着，耶稣又从摩西以来的所有的先知，向他们解释了《经》上关于自己的一切记载。
28 当他们接近他们要去的地方时，耶稣装作还要继续赶路的样子， 29 但是，那两个门徒却极力挽留他说∶“和我们住下吧，因为天几乎黑了，白天已过去了。”所以，耶稣就走进了村子，要与他们一同留下。
30 当耶稣和他们一起吃饭时，他拿起一块饼，向上帝谢了恩，然后又把它掰开，分给他们。 31 这时，他们眼睛睁开了，认出了耶稣，可是，耶稣却消失了。 32 他们彼此说道∶“在路上，当他对我们讲话和向我们解释《经》时，我们的心不是像火一样燃烧吗！”
33 他们立刻动身，返回耶路撒冷。他们找到十一个使徒和其他与他们在一起的人， 34 他们说∶“主真的复活了！他出现在西门的面前。”
35 然后，那两个门徒讲述了在路上所发生的事情，还讲述了当耶稣在掰饼时，他们是如何认出来他的。
耶稣出现在门徒们的面前
36 当两个门徒正在讲述这些事情时，耶稣本人站在了他们中间，对他们说∶“愿平安与你们同在。”
37 可是，门徒们都被吓的惊慌失措，还以为自己见到鬼魂了， 38 但是，耶稣却对他们说∶“你们为什么如此不安呢？为什么你们那样不安呢？ 39 看看我的手和脚，的确是我，用手来摸一摸我；鬼魂没有骨头，没有肉的。可是，你们看见我什么都有。” 40 边说，耶稣边把手和脚伸给他们看， 41 他们都惊喜极了，可还是不能相信这一切是真的。耶稣对他们说∶“你们这里有吃的吗？” 42 他们递给他一片烤鱼， 43 他接过来，当着他们的面把它嚼着吃了。
44 然后，耶稣又对他们说∶“就是这些事，当我还和你们在一起时，我就告诉过你们，我说过：摩西的律法、先知的著作和诗篇里有关我的记载必定应验。”
45 然后，耶稣又开启了他们的心灵，使他们理解了《经》上的内容。 46 他对他们说∶“《经》上写道：基督定要受难，也一定会在死去的第三天复活， 47 而且，悔改与罪孽得到宽恕将从耶路撒冷开始，宣告给所有的民族。 48 你们是这些事情的见证人。 49 我将把我父许诺的事情赐给你们，但是，你们必须呆在城里，直到天上的力量把你们武装起来。”

24 Y EL primer día de la semana, muy de mañana, vinieron al sepulcro, trayendo las drogas aromáticas que habían aparejado, y algunas otras mujeres con ellas.
2 Y hallaron la piedra revuelta del sepulcro.
3 Y entrando, no hallaron el cuerpo del Señor Jesús.
4 Y aconteció, que estando ellas espantadas de esto, he aquí se pararon junto á ellas dos varones con vestiduras resplandecientes;
5 Y como tuviesen ellas temor, y bajasen el rostro á tierra, les dijeron: ¿Por qué buscáis entre los muertos al que vive?
6 No está aquí, mas ha resucitado: acordaos de lo que os habló, cuando aun estaba en Galilea,
7 Diciendo: Es menester que el Hijo del hombre sea entregado en manos de hombres pecadores, y que sea crucificado, y resucite al tercer día.
8 Entonces ellas se acordaron de sus palabras,
9 Y volviendo del sepulcro, dieron nuevas de todas estas cosas á los once, y á todos los demás.
10 Y eran María Magdalena, y Juana, y María madre de Jacobo, y las demás con ellas, las que dijeron estas cosas á los apóstoles.
11 Mas á ellos les parecían como locura las palabras de ellas, y no las creyeron.
12 Pero levantándose Pedro, corrió al sepulcro: y como miró dentro, vió solos los lienzos echados; y se fué maravillándose de lo que había sucedido.
13 Y he aquí, dos de ellos iban el mismo día á una aldea que estaba de Jerusalem sesenta estadios, llamada Emmaús.
14 E iban hablando entre sí de todas aquellas cosas que habían acaecido.
15 Y aconteció que yendo hablando entre sí, y preguntándose el uno al otro, el mismo Jesús se llegó, é iba con ellos juntamente.
16 Mas los ojos de ellos estaban embargados, para que no le conociesen.
17 Y díjoles: ¿Qué pláticas son estas que tratáis entre vosotros andando, y estáis tristes?
18 Y respondiendo el uno, que se llamaba Cleofas, le dijo: ¿Tú sólo peregrino eres en Jerusalem, y no has sabido las cosas que en ella han acontecido estos días?
19 Entonces él les dijo: ¿Qué cosas? Y ellos le dijeron: De Jesús Nazareno, el cual fué varón profeta, poderoso en obra y en palabra delante de Dios y de todo el pueblo;
20 Y cómo le entregaron los príncipes de los sacerdotes y nuestros príncipes á condenación de muerte, y le crucificaron.
21 Mas nosotros esperábamos que él era el que había de redimir á Israel: y ahora sobre todo esto, hoy es el tercer día que esto ha acontecido.
22 Aunque también unas mujeres de los nuestros nos han espantado, las cuales antes del día fueron al sepulcro:
23 Y no hallando su cuerpo, vinieron diciendo que también habían visto visión de ángeles, los cuales dijeron que él vive.
24 Y fueron algunos de los nuestros al sepulcro, y hallaron así como las mujeres habían dicho; más á él no le vieron.
25 Entonces él les dijo: Oh insensatos, y tardos de corazón para creer todo lo que los profetas han dicho!
26 ¿No era necesario que el Cristo padeciera estas cosas, y que entrara en su gloria?
27 Y comenzando desde Moisés, y de todos los profetas, declarábales en todas las Escrituras lo que de él decían.
28 Y llegaron á la aldea á donde iban: y él hizo como que iba más lejos.
29 Mas ellos le detuvieron por fuerza, diciendo: Quédate con nosotros, porque se hace tarde, y el día ya ha declinado. Entró pues á estarse con ellos.
30 Y aconteció, que estando sentado con ellos á la mesa, tomando el pan, bendijo, y partió, y dióles.
31 Entonces fueron abiertos los ojos de ellos, y le conocieron; mas él se desapareció de los ojos de ellos.
32 Y decían el uno al otro: ¿No ardía nuestro corazón en nosotros, mientras nos hablaba en el camino, y cuando nos abría las Escrituras?
33 Y levantándose en la misma hora, tornáronse á Jerusalem, y hallaron á los once reunidos, y á los que estaban con ellos.
34 Que decían: Ha resucitado el Señor verdaderamente, y ha aparecido á Simón.
35 Entonces ellos contaban las cosas que les habían acontecido en el camino, y cómo había sido conocido de ellos al partir el pan.
36 Y entre tanto que ellos hablaban estas cosas, él se puso en medio de ellos, y les dijo: Paz á vosotros.
37 Entonces ellos espantados y asombrados, pensaban que veían espíritu.
38 Mas él les dice: ¿Por qué estáis turbados, y suben pensamientos á vuestros corazones?
39 Mirad mis manos y mis pies, que yo mismo soy: palpad, y ved; que el espíritu ni tiene carne ni huesos, como veis que yo tengo.
40 Y en diciendo esto, les mostró las manos y los pies.
41 Y no creyéndolo aún ellos de gozo, y maravillados, díjoles: ¿Tenéis aquí algo de comer?
42 Entonces ellos le presentaron parte de un pez asado, y un panal de miel.
43 Y él tomó, y comió delante de ellos.
44 Y él les dijo: Estas son las palabras que os hablé, estando aún con vosotros: que era necesario que se cumpliesen todas las cosas que están escritas de mí en la ley de Moisés, y en los profetas, y en los salmos.
45 Entonces les abrió el sentido, para que entendiesen las Escrituras;
46 Y díjoles: Así está escrito, y así fué necesario que el Cristo padeciese, y resucitase de los muertos al tercer día;
47 Y que se predicase en su nombre el arrepentimiento y la remisión de pecados en todas las naciones, comenzando de Jerusalem.
48 Y vosotros sois testigos de estas cosas.
49 Y he aquí, yo enviaré la promesa de mi Padre sobre vosotros: mas vosotros asentad en la ciudad de Jerusalem, hasta que seáis investidos de potencia de lo alto.
50 Y sacólos fuera hasta Bethania, y alzando sus manos, los bendijo.
51 Y aconteció que bendiciéndolos, se fué de ellos; y era llevado arriba al cielo.
52 Y ellos, después de haberle adorado, se volvieron á Jerusalem con gran gozo;
53 Y estaban siempre en el templo, alabando y bendiciendo á Dios. Amén.

Jesus Rises from Death
24 Very early on the first day of the week, the women came to the tomb where Jesus’ body was laid. They brought the spices they had prepared. 2 They found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance of the tomb. 3 They went in, but they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were wondering about this, two men in shining clothes suddenly stood beside them. 5 The women were very afraid; they bowed their heads to the ground. The men said to the women, “Why are you looking for a living person here? This is a place for the dead. 6 Jesus is not here. He has risen from death! Do you remember what he said in Galilee? 7 He said that the Son of Man must be given to evil men, be killed on a cross, and rise from death on the third day.” 8 Then the women remembered what Jesus had said.
9 The women left the tomb and told all these things to the 11 apostles and the other followers. 10 These women were Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and some other women. The women told the apostles everything that had happened at the tomb. 11 But they did not believe the women. It sounded like nonsense. 12 But Peter got up and ran to the tomb. He looked in, but he saw only the cloth that Jesus’ body had been wrapped in. Peter went away to be alone, wondering about what had happened.
On the Road to Emmaus
13 That same day two of Jesus’ followers were going to a town named Emmaus. It is about seven miles from Jerusalem. 14 They were talking about everything that had happened. 15 While they were discussing these things, Jesus himself came near and began walking with them. 16 (They were not allowed to recognize Jesus.) 17 Then he said, “What are these things you are talking about while you walk?”
The two followers stopped. Their faces were very sad. 18 The one named Cleopas answered, “You must be the only one in Jerusalem who does not know what just happened there.”
19 Jesus said to them, “What are you talking about?”
The followers said, “It is about Jesus of Nazareth. He was a prophet from God to all the people. He said and did many powerful things. 20 Our leaders and the leading priests gave him up to be judged and killed. They nailed him to a cross. 21 But we were hoping that he would free the Jews. It is now the third day since this happened. 22 And today some women among us told us some amazing things. Early this morning they went to the tomb, 23 but they did not find his body there. They came and told us that they had seen a vision of angels. The angels said that Jesus was alive! 24 So some of our group went to the tomb, too. They found it just as the women said, but they did not see Jesus.”
25 Then Jesus said to them, “You are foolish and slow to realize what is true. You should believe everything the prophets said. 26 They said that the Christ must suffer these things before he enters his glory.” 27 Then Jesus began to explain everything that had been written about himself in the Scriptures. He started with Moses, and then he talked about what all the prophets had said about him.
28 They came near the town of Emmaus, and Jesus acted as if he did not plan to stop there. 29 But they begged him, “Stay with us. It is late; it is almost night.” So he went in to stay with them.
30 Jesus sat down with them and took some bread. He gave thanks for the food and divided it. Then he gave it to them. 31 And then, they were allowed to recognize Jesus. But when they saw who he was, he disappeared. 32 They said to each other, “When Jesus talked to us on the road, it felt like a fire burning in us. It was exciting when he explained the true meaning of the Scriptures.”
33 So the two followers got up at once and went back to Jerusalem. There they found the 11 apostles and others gathered. 34 They were saying, “The Lord really has risen from death! He showed himself to Simon.”
35 Then the two followers told what had happened on the road. They talked about how they recognized Jesus when he divided the bread.
Jesus Appears to His Followers
36 While the two followers were telling this, Jesus himself stood among those gathered. He said to them, “Peace be with you.”
37 They were fearful and terrified. They thought they were seeing a ghost. 38 But Jesus said, “Why are you troubled? Why do you doubt what you see? 39 Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me. You can see that I have a living body; a ghost does not have a body like this.”
40 After Jesus said this, he showed them his hands and feet. 41 The followers were amazed and very happy. They still could not believe it. Jesus said to them, “Do you have any food here?” 42 They gave him a piece of cooked fish. 43 While the followers watched, Jesus took the fish and ate it.
44 He said to them, “Remember when I was with you before? I said that everything written about me must happen—everything in the law of Moses, the books of the prophets, and the Psalms.”
45 Then Jesus opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. 46 He said to them, “It is written that the Christ would be killed and rise from death on the third day. 47-48 You saw these things happen—you are witnesses. You must tell people to change their hearts and lives. If they do this, their sins will be forgiven. You must start at Jerusalem and preach these things in my name to all nations. 49 Listen! My Father has promised you something; I will send it to you. But you must stay in Jerusalem until you have received that power from heaven.”
Jesus Goes Back to Heaven
50 Jesus led his followers out of Jerusalem almost to Bethany. He raised his hands and blessed them. 51 While he was blessing them, he was separated from them and carried into heaven. 52 They worshiped him and then went back to the city very happy. 53 They stayed in the Temple all the time, praising God.
