Endagaano Enkadde nʼEndagaano Empya
Zabbuli ya Asafu.
82 (A)Katonda akubiriza olukiiko lwe olukulu olw’omu ggulu,
ng’alamula bakatonda.
2 (B)Mulituusa ddi okusala emisango n’obukuusa,
nga musalira abanafu?
3 (C)Abanafu n’abatalina bakitaabwe mubalamulenga mu bwenkanya;
abaavu n’abanyigirizibwa mubayambenga mu bwenkanya.
4 Mulwanirire abatalina maanyi n’abali mu kwetaaga, mubawonye;
mubanunule nga mubaggya mu mikono gy’ababi.
5 (D)Tebalina kye bamanyi, era tebategeera.
Batambulira mu kizikiza;
emisingi gy’ensi gyonna ginyeenyezebwa.
6 (E)Njogedde nti, Muli bakatonda,
era mwenna muli baana b’oyo Ali Waggulu Ennyo.
7 (F)“Naye mugenda kufa ng’abantu obuntu;
muliggwaawo ng’abafuzi abalala bonna bwe baggwaawo.”
8 (G)Ogolokoke, Ayi Katonda, olamule ensi;
kubanga amawanga gonna gago.
Psalm 82
King James Version
82 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
