Awit para sa Pagdiriwang
Sa Punong Mang-aawit: ayon sa Ang Gittith. Awit ni Asaf.
81 Umawit kayo nang malakas sa Diyos na ating kalakasan;
sumigaw sa Diyos ni Jacob dahil sa kagalakan!
2 Umawit kayo at patunugin ninyo ang pandereta,
ang masayang lira at ang alpa.
3 Hipan(A) ninyo ang trumpeta kapag bagong buwan,
sa kabilugan ng buwan, sa ating araw ng pagdiriwang.
4 Sapagkat ito ay isang tuntunin para sa Israel,
isang batas ng Diyos ni Jacob.
5 Ginawa niya itong patotoo sa Jose,
nang siya'y lumabas sa lupain ng Ehipto.
Ako'y nakarinig ng tinig na hindi ko kilala:
6 “Pinagaan ko ang pasan sa iyong balikat;
ang iyong mga kamay ay pinabitiw sa basket.
7 Ikaw(B) ay tumawag nang nasa kaguluhan, at iniligtas kita;
sinagot kita sa lihim na dako ng kulog;
sinubok kita sa tubig ng Meriba. (Selah)
8 O bayan ko, habang kita'y pinaaalalahanan, ako'y iyong dinggin,
O Israel, kung ikaw sana'y makikinig sa akin!
9 Hindi(C) magkakaroon ng ibang diyos sa inyo;
at huwag kang yuyukod sa ibang diyos.
10 Ako ang Panginoon mong Diyos,
na naglabas sa iyo mula sa lupain ng Ehipto.
Buksan mo nang maluwang ang iyong bibig, at ito'y aking pupunuin.
11 “Ngunit ang aking bayan ay hindi nakinig sa aking tinig;
hindi ako sinunod ng Israel.
12 Kaya't ipinaubaya ko sila sa pagmamatigas ng kanilang puso,
upang sumunod sa kanilang sariling mga payo.
13 O kung ako sana'y papakinggan ng aking bayan,
ang Israel ay lalakad sa aking mga daan!
14 Pasusukuin ko kaagad ang kanilang mga kaaway,
at ibabaling ko ang aking kamay laban sa kanilang mga kalaban.
15 Ang mga napopoot sa Panginoon ay yuyuko sa kanya,
at ang kanilang panahon ay magtatagal kailanman.
16 Pakakainin kita ng pinakamabuting trigo,
at bubusugin kita ng pulot na mula sa bato.”

81 Sing aloud unto God our strength:
Make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.
2 Raise a song, and [a]bring hither the timbrel,
The pleasant harp with the psaltery.
3 Blow the trumpet at the new moon,
At the full moon, on our feast-day.
4 For it is a statute for Israel,
An ordinance of the God of Jacob.
5 He appointed it in Joseph for a testimony,
When he went out [b]over the land of Egypt,
Where I heard [c]a language that I knew not.
6 I removed his shoulder from the burden:
His hands were freed from the basket.
7 Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee;
I answered thee in the secret place of thunder;
I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah
8 Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee:
O Israel, if thou wouldest hearken unto me!
9 There shall no strange god be in thee;
Neither shalt thou worship any foreign god.
10 I am Jehovah thy God,
Who brought thee up out of the land of Egypt:
Open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
11 But my people hearkened not to my voice;
And Israel would none of me.
12 So I let them go after the stubbornness of their heart,
That they might walk in their own counsels.
13 Oh that my people would hearken unto me,
That Israel would walk in my ways!
14 I would soon subdue their enemies,
And turn my hand against their adversaries.
15 The haters of Jehovah should [d]submit themselves unto him:
But their time should endure for ever.
16 He would feed them also with the [e]finest of the wheat;
And with honey out of the rock would I satisfy thee.
