Salmo 65 (64)

Tú colmas la tierra de bienes

65 Al maestro del coro. Salmo de David. Cántico.
Tú mereces la alabanza,
oh Dios que estás en Sión,
mereces que se te cumplan las promesas,
pues tú escuchas las oraciones
y todos los humanos acuden a ti.
Las culpas nos tienen abrumados,
pero tú perdonas nuestros pecados.
Felices a quienes escoges y llevas
Tu justicia salvadora
nos responde con prodigios,
oh Dios, salvador nuestro,
esperanza del confín del mundo
y de los mares más remotos.
Con su fuerza afianza los montes
revestido todo él de poder;
calma el fragor de los mares,
serena el fragor de sus olas
y el estruendo de los pueblos.
Cuantos viven en el confín del mundo
te veneran por tus prodigios,
tú alegras a oriente y occidente.
10 Cuidas la tierra y la riegas,
la colmas de bienes sin fin;

Praise to God for His Salvation and Providence

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. A Song.

65 Praise is awaiting You, O God, in Zion;
And to You the [a]vow shall be performed.
O You who hear prayer,
(A)To You all flesh will come.
Iniquities prevail against me;
As for our transgressions,
You will (B)provide atonement for them.

(C)Blessed is the man You (D)choose,
And cause to approach You,
That he may dwell in Your courts.
(E)We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house,
Of Your holy temple.

By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us,
O God of our salvation,
You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth,
And of the far-off seas;
Who established the mountains by His strength,
(F)Being clothed with power;
(G)You who still the noise of the seas,
The noise of their waves,
(H)And the tumult of the peoples.
They also who dwell in the farthest parts are afraid of Your signs;
You make the outgoings of the morning and evening [b]rejoice.

You [c]visit the earth and (I)water it,
You greatly enrich it;
(J)The river of God is full of water;
You provide their grain,
For so You have prepared it.
10 You water its ridges abundantly,
You settle its furrows;
You make it soft with showers,
You bless its growth.

11 You crown the year with Your goodness,
And Your paths drip with abundance.
12 They drop on the pastures of the wilderness,
And the little hills rejoice on every side.
13 The pastures are clothed with flocks;
(K)The valleys also are covered with grain;
They shout for joy, they also sing.

For the choir director. A Psalm of David. A Song.

65 There will be silence [a]before You, and praise in Zion, O God,
And to You the (A)vow will be performed.
O You who hear prayer,
To You (B)all [b]men come.
[c](C)Iniquities prevail against me;
As for our transgressions, You [d](D)forgive them.
How (E)blessed is the one whom You (F)choose and bring near to You
To dwell in Your courts.
We will be (G)satisfied with the goodness of Your house,
Your holy temple.

By (H)awesome deeds You answer us in righteousness, O (I)God of our salvation,
You who are the trust of all the (J)ends of the earth and of the farthest [e](K)sea;
Who (L)establishes the mountains by His strength,
Being (M)girded with might;
Who (N)stills the roaring of the seas,
The roaring of their waves,
And the (O)tumult of the peoples.
They who dwell in the (P)ends of the earth stand in awe of Your signs;
You make the [f]dawn and the sunset shout for joy.

You visit the earth and (Q)cause it to overflow;
You greatly (R)enrich it;
The [g](S)stream of God is full of water;
You prepare their (T)grain, for thus You prepare [h]the earth.
10 You water its furrows abundantly,
You [i]settle its ridges,
You soften it (U)with showers,
You bless its growth.
11 You have crowned the year [j]with Your [k](V)bounty,
And Your [l]paths (W)drip with fatness.
12 (X)The pastures of the wilderness drip,
And the (Y)hills gird themselves with rejoicing.
13 The meadows are (Z)clothed with flocks
And the valleys are (AA)covered with grain;
They (AB)shout for joy, yes, they sing.
