10 耶和华啊，你为什么站在远处？在患难的时候为什么隐藏？
2 恶人在骄横中把困苦人追得火急，愿他们陷在自己所设的计谋里。
3 因为恶人以心愿自夸，贪财的背弃耶和华，并且轻慢他[a]。
4 恶人面带骄傲，说：“耶和华必不追究。”他一切所想的，都以为没有神。
5 凡他所做的，时常稳固，你的审判超过他的眼界。至于他一切的敌人，他都向他们喷气。
6 他心里说：“我必不动摇，世世代代不遭灾难。”
7 他满口是咒骂、诡诈、欺压，舌底是毒害、奸恶。
8 他在村庄埋伏等候，他在隐密处杀害无辜的人，他的眼睛窥探无倚无靠的人。
9 他埋伏在暗地，如狮子蹲在洞中。他埋伏，要掳去困苦人；他拉网，就把困苦人掳去。
10 他屈身蹲伏，无倚无靠的人就倒在他爪牙[b]之下。
11 他心里说：“神竟忘记了，他掩面永不观看。”
12 耶和华啊，求你起来！神啊，求你举手，不要忘记困苦人！

14 其实你已经观看，因为奸恶毒害你都看见了，为要以手施行报应。无倚无靠的人把自己交托你，你向来是帮助孤儿的。
15 愿你打断恶人的膀臂，至于坏人，愿你追究他的恶，直到净尽。
16 耶和华永永远远为王，外邦人从他的地已经灭绝了。
17 耶和华啊，谦卑人的心愿你早已知道[c]，你必预备他们的心，也必侧耳听他们的祈求，
18 为要给孤儿和受欺压的人申冤，使强横的人不再威吓他们。

1 Chúa ôi, sao Ngài vẫn còn đứng đằng xa?
Tại sao Ngài nỡ ẩn mình trong khi con bị nguy nan?
2 Kẻ ác kiêu căng bách hại người nghèo;
Nguyện chúng bị sa vào mưu chước do chúng vạch ra.
3 Vì kẻ ác khoe khoang lòng tham muốn nó;
Nó chúc phước cho kẻ tham lam và nó chối bỏ Chúa.
4 Kẻ ác không tìm cầu Ngài mà còn vênh mặt kiêu căng;
Trong mọi tư tưởng nó, nó đều cho rằng, “Chẳng có Ðức Chúa Trời.”
5 Thế mà đường lối nó cứ luôn được may mắn.
Sự phán xét của Ngài cao quá tầm mắt nó.
Ðối với những người chống đối nó, nó khinh bỉ ra mặt.
6 Nó tự phụ trong lòng rằng, “Ta sẽ không bị rúng động;
Từ đời này sang đời khác, ta sẽ không bao giờ gặp tai họa.”
7 Miệng nó chứa đầy những lời chưởi thề, nói dối, và đe dọa;
Dưới lưỡi nó có biết bao hiểm ác và tội lỗi.
8 Nó ngồi phục kích trong các xóm làng;
Từ những nơi nó mai phục, nó giết những người vô tội;
Cặp mắt nó luôn theo dõi những người yếu nghèo.
9 Nó âm thầm nằm đợi như sư tử nằm rình trong bụi;
Nó nằm rình, chờ vồ lấy người nghèo.
Nó vồ được người nghèo, rồi kéo người ấy vào trong lưới nó.
10 Nó ghì xuống, và nạn nhân nó bó tay chịu trận;

11 Nó tự nhủ trong lòng, “Ðức Chúa Trời đã quên rồi;
Ngài đã ẩn mặt rồi, và Ngài sẽ không bao giờ thấy việc này.”
12 Chúa ôi, xin trỗi dậy!
Ðức Chúa Trời ôi, xin nhấc cánh tay Ngài lên.
Xin Ngài đừng quên những người bị áp bức.
13 Sao kẻ ác dám chối bỏ Ðức Chúa Trời?
Sao lòng nó dám nghĩ, “Ngài sẽ không bao giờ tra xét?”
14 Nhưng Ngài đã thấy hết, vì Ngài ghi nhận những tội ác và khổ đau, để chính tay Ngài sẽ báo trả.
Người yếu nghèo phó thác đời sống mình cho Ngài, vì Ngài là Ðấng giúp đỡ kẻ mồ côi.
15 Xin Ngài bẻ gãy cánh tay kẻ ác và kẻ làm điều gian tà;
Xin Ngài truy cứu các việc gian ác của chúng, cho đến khi không còn tìm ra tội ác nào nữa.
16 Chúa là Vua đời đời vô cùng;
Những dân vô tín sẽ bị diệt mất khỏi đất của Ngài.
17 Chúa ôi, xin Ngài dủ nghe ước nguyện của kẻ thấp hèn;
Xin Ngài làm cho họ được vững lòng;
Xin Ngài nghiêng tai nghe,
18 Ðể thực hiện công lý cho kẻ mồ côi và người bị áp bức,

10 Why standest thou afar off, O Lord? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?
2 The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
3 For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the Lord abhorreth.
4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
5 His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
6 He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.
7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.
8 He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.
9 He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.
10 He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.
11 He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.
12 Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.
13 Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.
14 Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.
15 Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.
16 The Lord is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.
17 Lord, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:
18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

2 In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak,(C)
who are caught in the schemes he devises.
3 He boasts(D) about the cravings of his heart;
he blesses the greedy and reviles the Lord.(E)
4 In his pride the wicked man does not seek him;
in all his thoughts there is no room for God.(F)
5 His ways are always prosperous;
your laws are rejected by[b] him;
he sneers at all his enemies.
6 He says to himself, “Nothing will ever shake me.”
He swears, “No one will ever do me harm.”(G)
7 His mouth is full(H) of lies and threats;(I)
trouble and evil are under his tongue.(J)
8 He lies in wait(K) near the villages;
from ambush he murders the innocent.(L)
His eyes watch in secret for his victims;
9 like a lion in cover he lies in wait.
He lies in wait to catch the helpless;(M)
he catches the helpless and drags them off in his net.(N)
10 His victims are crushed,(O) they collapse;
they fall under his strength.
11 He says to himself, “God will never notice;(P)
he covers his face and never sees.”(Q)
12 Arise,(R) Lord! Lift up your hand,(S) O God.
Do not forget the helpless.(T)
13 Why does the wicked man revile God?(U)
Why does he say to himself,
“He won’t call me to account”?(V)
14 But you, God, see the trouble(W) of the afflicted;
you consider their grief and take it in hand.
The victims commit themselves to you;(X)
you are the helper(Y) of the fatherless.
15 Break the arm of the wicked man;(Z)
call the evildoer to account for his wickedness
that would not otherwise be found out.
16 The Lord is King for ever and ever;(AA)
the nations(AB) will perish from his land.
17 You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted;(AC)
you encourage them, and you listen to their cry,(AD)
18 defending the fatherless(AE) and the oppressed,(AF)
so that mere earthly mortals
will never again strike terror.
