³他就像溪水旁的树木——
按时结果子，
叶子也不凋零。
他必凡事亨通。
⁴恶人的光景却截然不同！
他们就像被风吹散的糠秕。
⁵恶人在审判之日必无法逃脱，
罪人在义人的聚会中必站不住脚。

³That person is like a tree^(A) planted by streams^(B) of water,^(C)
which yields its fruit^(D) in season
and whose leaf^(E) does not wither—
whatever they do prospers.^(F)

⁴Not so the wicked!
    They are like chaff^(G)
    that the wind blows away.
⁵Therefore the wicked will not stand^(H) in the judgment,^(I)
    nor sinners in the assembly^(J) of the righteous.
