詩篇 138

138 （大卫的诗。）我要一心称谢你，在诸神面前歌颂你。

²我要向你的圣殿下拜，为你的慈爱和诚实称赞你的名；因你使你的话显为大，过於你所应许的（或译：超乎你的名声）。

³我呼求的日子，你就应允我，鼓励我，使我心里有能力。

⁴耶和华啊，地上的君王都要称谢你，因他们听见了你口中的言语。

⁵他们要歌颂耶和华的作为，因耶和华大有荣耀。

⁶耶和华虽高，仍看顾低微的人；他却从远处看出骄傲的人。

⁷我虽行在患难中，你必将我救活；我的仇敌发怒，你必伸手抵挡他们；你的右手也必救我。

⁸耶和华必成全关乎我的事；耶和华啊，你的慈爱永远长存！求你不要离弃你手所造的。

Give Thanks to the Lord

Of David.

138 ^(A)I give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart;
    before ^(B)the gods I sing your praise;
²I bow down ^(C)toward your ^(D)holy temple
    and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness,
    for you have exalted above all things
    your name and your word.^[a]
³On the day I called, you answered me;
    my strength of soul you increased.^[b]

⁴^(E)All the kings of the earth shall give you thanks, O Lord,
    for they have heard the words of your mouth,
⁵and they shall sing of ^(F)the ways of the Lord,
    for great is the glory of the Lord.
⁶^(G)For though the Lord is high, he regards the lowly,
    but the haughty he knows from afar.

⁷^(H)Though I walk in the midst of trouble,
    you ^(I)preserve my life;
you ^(J)stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies,
    and your ^(K)right hand delivers me.
⁸The Lord will ^(L)fulfill his purpose for me;
    ^(M)your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.
    Do not forsake ^(N)the work of your hands.

⁽¹⁾I give you thanks with all my heart.
Not to idols, but to you I sing praise.
²I bow down toward your holy temple
and give thanks to your name for your grace and truth;
for you have made your word [even] greater
than the whole of your reputation.
³When I called, you answered me,
you made me bold and strong.

⁴All the kings of the earth will thank you, Adonai,
when they hear the words you have spoken.
⁵They will sing about Adonai’s ways,
“Great is the glory of Adonai!”
⁶For though Adonai is high, he cares for the lowly;
while the proud he perceives from afar.

⁷You keep me alive when surrounded by danger;
you put out your hand when my enemies rage;
with your right hand you save me.
⁸Adonai will fulfill his purpose for me.
Your grace, Adonai, continues forever.
Don’t abandon the work of your hands!
