3 “要準備好大小的盾牌，
踏上戰場。
4 要裝備馬匹，騎上戰馬；
站好崗位，戴上頭盔；
磨快槍矛，穿上鐵甲。
5 但為甚麼我看見他們驚惶，
轉身退後呢？
他們的勇士被擊敗了，
他們急速奔逃，不敢回轉。
四圍都是驚慌。”
這是耶和華的宣告。

3 “Prepare your shields,(A) both large and small,
and march out for battle!
4 Harness the horses,
mount the steeds!
Take your positions
with helmets on!
Polish(B) your spears,
put on your armor!(C)
5 What do I see?
They are terrified,
they are retreating,
their warriors are defeated.
They flee(D) in haste
without looking back,
and there is terror(E) on every side,”
declares the Lord.
