15 Lions(A) have roared;
they have growled at him.
They have laid waste(B) his land;
his towns are burned(C) and deserted.(D)
16 Also, the men of Memphis(E) and Tahpanhes(F)
have cracked your skull.
17 Have you not brought this on yourselves(G)
by forsaking(H) the Lord your God
when he led you in the way?
