12 逾越节前六天，耶稣来到伯大尼，就是祂叫拉撒路从死里复活的村子。 2 村里有人为耶稣预备了晚饭，拉撒路也与耶稣同席，玛大在旁边伺候。 3 玛丽亚拿出一瓶[a]珍贵的纯哪哒香膏来抹耶稣的脚，又用自己的头发去擦，屋里顿时充满了香气。
4 有一个门徒，就是将要出卖耶稣的加略人犹大说： 5 “为什么不把香膏卖三百个银币[b]去周济穷人呢？” 6 他这样说不是因为他真的关心穷人，其实他是个贼，常常借管钱的机会中饱私囊。
7 耶稣说：“由她吧！她这是为我安葬作预备。 8 因为你们身边总会有穷人，可是你们身边不会总有我。”
9 有许多犹太人知道耶稣在那里，就来看祂，不单是为了看耶稣，也想看看从死里复活的拉撒路。 10 于是，祭司长计划连拉撒路也杀掉， 11 因为有许多犹太人因为拉撒路的缘故离开他们，去信了耶稣。
光荣进圣城
12 第二天，很多上来过节的人听见耶稣快到耶路撒冷了， 13 就拿着棕树枝出去迎接祂，并且高声欢呼：
“和散那[c]！
奉主名来的以色列王当受称颂！”
14 那时，耶稣找到一头驴驹，就骑上它，正如圣经记载：
15 “锡安的居民啊，不要害怕！
你的君王骑着驴驹来了。”
16 起初门徒不明白这些事，后来耶稣得了荣耀，他们才想起圣经上这些有关耶稣的记载果然在祂身上应验了。 17 那些亲眼看见耶稣叫拉撒路复活、走出坟墓的人不断传扬这件事。 18 许多听过耶稣行这神迹的人都去迎接祂。 19 法利赛人彼此议论说：“我们真是枉费心思！你看，整个世界都跟着祂跑了。”
耶稣预言自己的死
20 有几个希腊人也上耶路撒冷过节。 21 他们找到了加利利的伯赛大人腓力，请求说：“先生，我们想见见耶稣。” 22 腓力把这件事告诉安得烈，二人去转告耶稣。
23 耶稣说：“人子得荣耀的时候到了。 24 我实实在在地告诉你们，一粒麦子如果不落在地里死了，仍是一粒，如果死了，就会结出许多麦粒来。 25 爱惜自己生命的，必会失掉生命；憎恶自己今世生命的，才能保住生命，直到永生。 26 谁要事奉我，就要跟从我。我在哪里，事奉我的人也要在哪里。我父必尊重事奉我的人。
27 “我现在心里忧伤，说什么才好呢？求父救我离开这个时刻吗？然而，我原是为这个时刻来的。 28 父啊！愿你使自己的名得荣耀！”
当时天上有声音说：“我已使自己的名得了荣耀，并且还要得荣耀。”
29 站在那里的人群中有人听见就说：“打雷了！”也有人说：“是天使在跟祂说话。”
30 耶稣说：“这声音不是为我发出的，是为你们发出的。 31 现在是这世界受审判的时候，世界的王[d]要被赶出去了。 32 至于我，当我从地上被举起来时，必吸引万人归向我。” 33 耶稣这句话指的是祂会怎样死。
34 众人问：“我们从律法书上知道，基督是永远长存的，你怎么说‘人子要被举起来’呢？这人子是谁呢？”
35 耶稣对他们说：“光在你们中间照耀的时候不多了，你们要趁着有光的时候走路，免得黑暗来临后，走在黑暗里的人不知道要往哪里去。 36 所以你们当趁着有光的时候信从光，好成为光明的儿女。”
耶稣说完后，便离开他们，隐藏起来。
犹太人不信祂
37 耶稣虽然在他们面前行了许多神迹，他们还是不信祂。 38 这是要应验以赛亚先知的话：
“主啊，谁相信我们所传的呢？主的能力[e]向谁显现呢？”
39 接着，以赛亚又说出他们不能信的缘故：
40 “主使他们眼瞎、心硬，
免得他们眼睛看见，
心里明白，回心转意，
就得到我的医治。”
41 以赛亚看见了祂的荣耀，所以才这样说。 42 虽然这样，仍有很多犹太的官员信了耶稣，只是在法利赛人面前不敢公开承认，因为害怕会被赶出会堂。 43 因为他们爱从世人而来的荣耀，胜过爱从上帝而来的荣耀。
耶稣的道要审判人
44 耶稣高声说：“信我的，其实不只是信我，而是信差我来的那位。 45 人看见了我，就是看见了差我来的那位。 46 我来是要作世界的光，好叫信我的人脱离黑暗。 47 听了我的话却不遵守的人，我不审判他，因为我来不是要审判世人，而是要拯救世人。 48 弃绝我、不接受我话的人将受到审判，我讲过的道在末日要审判他， 49 因为我不是凭自己讲的，我说什么、讲什么都是差我来的父吩咐的。 50 我知道祂的命令能带来永生。所以祂怎么告诉我，我就怎么说。”

O Livro
Jesus é ungido em Betânia
(Mt 26.6-13; Mc 14.3-9; Lc 7.37-39)
12 Seis dias antes do começo das cerimónias da Páscoa, Jesus chegou a Betânia, onde morava Lázaro, a quem tornara a dar vida. 2 Fizeram um jantar em honra de Jesus e Marta servia à mesa e Lázaro estava ali sentado com ele. 3 Então Maria pegou num vaso com três decilitros de perfume caro, feito de essência de nardo, e deitou-o sobre os pés de Jesus, enxugando-os com o cabelo. E toda a casa se encheu daquele belo cheiro.
4 Mas Judas Iscariotes, um dos discípulos, aquele que o iria trair, comentou: 5 “Porque não se vendeu o perfume por trezentas moedas de prata para dar o produto aos pobres?” 6 Falava assim, não porque se preocupasse com os pobres, mas porque estava encarregado do dinheiro dos discípulos e costumava servir-se dele em benefício próprio.
7 Jesus respondeu-lhe: “Deixem-na em paz! Ela fez isto como preparação para o dia em que irei para a sepultura. 8 É que os pobres sempre os terão convosco, mas a mim nem sempre me terão.”
9 Quando muitos judeus de Jerusalém souberam da sua chegada, acorreram a vê-lo, a ele e a Lázaro, o ressuscitado. 10 Então os principais sacerdotes decidiram matar Lázaro também, 11 pois fora por causa dele que muitos judeus o tinham seguido, crendo ser Jesus o seu Cristo.
A entrada em Jerusalém
(Mt 21.4-9; Mc 11.7-10; Lc 19.35-38)
12 No dia seguinte, uma multidão enorme que tinha ido para celebrar a Páscoa soube que Jesus ia a caminho de Jerusalém. 13 Pegaram em ramos de palmeira e vieram ao seu encontro, exclamando:
“Hossana!
Bendito seja aquele que vem em nome do Senhor, que é o Rei de Israel!”[a]
14 Jesus ia montado num jumento novo, dando cumprimento ao que na Escritura estava escrito:
15 “Não receies, ó filha de Sião.
Vê, o teu Rei aproxima-se,
sentado numa cria de jumento.”[b]
16 Naquela altura, os discípulos não compreenderam que era o cumprimento duma profecia. Somente depois de Jesus ter voltado para a sua glória no céu é que repararam no cumprimento das profecias das Escrituras a seu respeito.
17 E aqueles da multidão que tinham visto Jesus chamar Lázaro de novo à vida contavam o que tinha acontecido. 18 Foi esse o principal motivo que levou tantos a saírem ao seu encontro, por terem ouvido dizer que se fizera um tal sinal. 19 Os fariseus disseram entre si: “Perdemos! Olhem como todo o povo vai atrás dele!”
Jesus prediz a sua morte
20 Alguns dos gregos que tinham ido a Jerusalém para adorar Deus na Páscoa 21 vieram ter com Filipe, que era de Betsaida da Galileia, e pediram: “Nós queríamos conhecer Jesus!” 22 Filipe falou neste pedido a André e foram juntos ter com Jesus.
23 Jesus esclareceu que chegara a hora de voltar para a sua glória no céu e acrescentou: 24 “É realmente como vos digo: se um grão de trigo, ao cair na terra, não morrer, ficará apenas uma semente isolada. Mas se morrer, produzirá muitos grãos. 25 Quem amar a sua vida perdê-la-á. E quem desprezar a sua vida neste mundo guardá-la-á para a vida eterna. 26 Se alguém quer ser meu discípulo, que venha e me siga, pois os meus servos deverão estar onde eu estiver. E se me seguirem, o Pai os honrará. 27 Agora a minha alma está perturbada. Deverei eu orar para que o Pai me livre desta hora? Mas se foi para isso mesmo que vim! 28 Pai, traz honra ao teu nome!”
E ouviu-se uma voz vinda do céu que disse: “Já o honrei, e glorificá-lo-ei outra vez.” 29 Quando a multidão ouviu a voz, alguns julgaram que fosse um trovão, enquanto que outros afirmavam que um anjo lhe tinha falado.
30 Jesus explicou-lhes: “A voz que ouviram foi para o vosso bem e não para o meu. 31 Chegou a hora do mundo ser julgado; a hora também em que o soberano deste mundo será expulso. 32 E quando eu for erguido da Terra atrairei todos a mim.” 33 Disse isto indicando a maneira como iria morrer.
34 A multidão perguntou: “A Lei ensina-nos que o Cristo vive para sempre. Porque dizes que o Filho do Homem deverá ser levantado? De quem falas tu?”
35 Jesus respondeu: “A minha luz brilhará para vocês mais algum tempo. Caminhem enquanto têm a luz, para que as trevas não vos apanhem; quem anda nas trevas não sabe para onde vai. 36 Acreditem na luz, enquanto ainda há tempo e então tornar-se-ão filhos da luz.” Depois de dizer estas coisas, Jesus retirou-se e ocultou-se deles.
Os judeus continuam na sua descrença
37 Apesar de todos os sinais que tinha feito, havia muita gente que não cria nele; 38 exatamente como Isaías, o profeta, tinha dito:
“Senhor, quem creu na nossa pregação?
A quem foi revelado o poder do Senhor?[c]”
39 Por isso, não podiam crer. Porque como Isaías também disse:
40 “São cegos e têm o coração fechado,
de modo que não verão com os seus olhos,
nem entenderão com os seus corações,
nem se arrependerão, para que os cure.”[d]
41 Isaías, ao fazer esta revelação, referia-se a Jesus, pois tinha tido uma visão da sua glória[e]. 42 Por outro lado, muitos dos líderes judeus acreditavam nele, sem contudo o confessarem, receosos de que os fariseus os expulsassem da sinagoga[f]. 43 Porquanto davam mais apreço ao louvor dos homens do que ao louvor a Deus.
44 Jesus clamou à multidão: “Quem crê em mim crê naquele que me enviou! 45 E quem me vê a mim vê aquele que me enviou! 46 Vim como a luz que veio ao mundo para que todo o que crê em mim não fique nas trevas. 47 Se alguém ouvir as minhas palavras e não crer, não sou eu quem o julga, pois vim para salvar o mundo e não para julgá-lo. 48 Mas todos quantos me rejeitam, a mim e as minhas palavras, serão julgados no dia do julgamento pelas próprias palavras que lhes falei. 49 Porque o que tenho falado não é de mim mesmo. Apenas vos disse o que o Pai me mandou que vos comunicasse. 50 Os seus preceitos conduzem à vida eterna. Por isso, digo tudo o que ele me mandou dizer.”

4 有一個門徒，就是將要出賣耶穌的加略人猶大說： 5 「為什麼不把香膏賣三百個銀幣[b]去賙濟窮人呢？」 6 他這樣說不是因為他真的關心窮人，其實他是個賊，常常藉管錢的機會中飽私囊。
7 耶穌說：「由她吧！她這是為我安葬作預備。 8 因為你們身邊總會有窮人，可是你們身邊不會總有我。」

光榮進聖城

New Life Version
Mary of Bethany Puts Special Perfume on Jesus (A)
12 It was six days before the special religious gathering to remember how the Jews left Egypt. Jesus came to Bethany where Lazarus lived. Jesus had raised Lazarus from the dead. 2 They made supper for Him. Martha put the food on the table. Lazarus was at the table with Him.
3 Mary took a jar of special perfume that cost much money and poured it on the feet of Jesus. She dried His feet with her hair. The house was filled with the smell of the special perfume.
4 Judas Iscariot was one of the followers. He was about to hand Jesus over to the leaders of the country. He said, 5 “Why was not this special perfume sold for much money and given to poor people?” 6 He did not say this because he cared for poor people. He said this because he was a robber. He carried the bag of money and would steal some of it for himself. 7 Jesus said, “Let her alone. She has kept it for the time when I will be buried. 8 You will always have poor people with you. You will not always have Me.”
The Jews Talk about Having Lazarus Killed
9 Many Jews came to the place because they knew Jesus was there. They came not only to see Jesus, but to see Lazarus also. Jesus had raised Lazarus from the dead. 10 The religious leaders of the Jews talked together about having Lazarus killed also. 11 Because of Lazarus, many Jews were leaving their own religion. They were putting their trust in Jesus.
The Last Time Jesus Goes to Jerusalem (B)
12 The next day many people were in Jerusalem for the religious gathering. They heard Jesus was coming. 13 They took branches of trees and went to meet Him. They spoke with a loud voice, “Greatest One! Great and honored is He Who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of the Jews!” 14 Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it. The Holy Writings say, 15 “Do not be afraid, people of Jerusalem. See! Your King comes sitting on a young donkey!” (C) 16 His followers did not understand what this meant at first. When Jesus had gone back to heaven to receive great honor, they remembered these things were written about Him. They remembered they had done this to Him.
17 The people who had been with Jesus when He had called Lazarus from the grave kept telling of this powerful work to others. They had seen Lazarus raised from the dead. 18 Because of this the people went to meet Jesus. They had heard He had done this powerful work. 19 The proud religious law-keepers said among themselves, “Look, we are losing followers. Everyone is following Jesus!”
The Greek People Want to See Jesus
20 Some Greek people had come to worship at the religious gathering. They were among the others who had come to worship. 21 These Greek people came to Philip. He was from the city of Bethsaida in the country of Galilee. They said to him, “Sir, we want to see Jesus!” 22 Philip went and told Andrew. Then Andrew and Philip told Jesus.
The Law of Life
23 Jesus said to them, “The hour is near for the Son of Man to be taken to heaven to receive great honor. 24 For sure, I tell you, unless a seed falls into the ground and dies, it will only be a seed. If it dies, it will give much grain. 25 Anyone who loves his life will lose it. Anyone who hates his life in this world will keep it forever. 26 If anyone wants to serve Me, he must follow Me. So where I am, the one who wants to serve Me will be there also. If anyone serves Me, My Father will honor him.
27 “Now My soul is troubled. Should I say, ‘Father, save Me from this time of trouble and pain’? No, this is why I came to this time. 28 Father, honor Your name!”
The People Hear the Voice of God
Then a voice from heaven came, saying, “I have already honored My name. I will honor it again!” 29 The people heard the voice. Some who stood there said, “It was thunder.” Others said, “An angel spoke to Him.” 30 Jesus said, “The voice did not come for Me, but it came to be a help to you.
Jesus Tells How He Will Die
31 “Now this world is being told it is guilty. Now the leader of this world will be thrown out. 32 And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will attract all people toward Me.” 33 He said this to tell the kind of death He was going to die.
34 The people said to Him, “The Law of Moses says that the Christ is to live forever. Why do you say, ‘The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”
35 Jesus said to them, “The Light will be with you for a little while yet. Go on your way while you have the Light so you will not be in the dark. When a man is walking in the dark, he does not know where he is going. 36 While you have the Light, put your trust in the Light. Then you will be the sons of the Light.” Jesus said these things and then went away. He hid Himself from them.
The People Do Not Believe
37 Jesus had done many powerful works in front of them, but they did not put their trust in Him. 38 This happened as the words of the early preacher Isaiah said it would happen. He had said, “Lord, has anyone believed our preaching? Has the Lord shown His power to anyone?” 39 The reason they could not believe is written again in Isaiah. 40 It says, “He has blinded their eyes and made their hearts hard. Then they would not see with their eyes. They would not understand with their heart. They would not turn to Me. I could not heal them.” (D) 41 This is what Isaiah said when he saw the shining-greatness of Jesus and spoke of Him.
42 Even among the leaders of the people there were many who believed in Jesus. But because of the proud religious law-keepers, they did not tell about it. If they had, they would have been put out of the Jewish place of worship. 43 They loved to have the respect from men more than honor from God.
Jesus and His Father Are One
44 Then Jesus spoke with a loud voice, “Anyone who puts his trust in Me, puts his trust not only in Me, but in Him Who sent Me. 45 Anyone who sees Me, sees Him Who sent Me. 46 I came to the world to be a Light. Anyone who puts his trust in Me will not be in darkness. 47 If anyone hears My Words but does not believe them, I do not say he is guilty. I did not come to say the world is guilty. I came to save the world from the punishment of sin. 48 Anyone who does not receive Me and does not receive My teaching has One Who will say he is guilty. The Word that I have spoken will say he is guilty on the last day. 49 I have not spoken by My own power. The Father Who sent Me has told Me what to say and speak. 50 I know that His Word is life that lasts forever. I speak the things the Father has told Me to speak.”
