⁸门徒们说：“拉比，近来犹太人想用石头砸死你，你还再到那里去吗？”

⁹耶稣回答：“白天不是有十二个小时吗？人如果在白天行走，就不会绊倒，因为他看见这世界的光。 ¹⁰但人如果在黑夜里行走，就会绊倒，因为在他里面没有光。”

⁸His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?

⁹Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.

¹⁰But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.
