32 約翰又作見證說：“我曾看見聖靈，好像鴿子從天上降下來，停留在他的身上。 33 我本來不認識他，但那差我來用水施洗的對我說：‘你看見聖靈降下來，停留在誰身上，誰就是用聖靈施洗的。’ 34 我看見了，就作見證說：‘這就是 神的兒子。’”

32 Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him.(A) 33 And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water(B) told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’(C) 34 I have seen and I testify that this is God’s Chosen One.”[a](D)
