7 神将北极铺在空中，将大地悬在虚空。 8 将水包在密云中，云却不破裂。 9 遮蔽他的宝座，将云铺在其上。 10 在水面的周围划出界限，直到光明黑暗的交界。 11 天的柱子因他的斥责，震动惊奇。 12 他以能力搅动[a]大海，他借知识打伤拉哈伯； 13 借他的灵使天有装饰，他的手刺杀快蛇。 14 看哪，这不过是神工作的些微，我们所听于他的是何等细微的声音！他大能的雷声谁能明透呢？”

云负重却不裂开。
9 祂遮盖自己的宝座[a]，
把云彩铺在上面。
10 祂在海面上画出地平线，
作为光明与黑暗的交界。
11 祂的斥责使天柱震动惊骇，
12 祂的能力使大海平静，
祂运用智慧击碎海怪。
13 祂吹散天上的阴霾，
挥手刺穿逃跑的蛇。
14 看啊，这不过是祂作为的一斑，
是我们听到的少许回音！
谁能领悟祂的雷霆万钧？”
