24 约书亚和以色列众人把谢拉的曾孙亚干和那银子、那件外袍、那条金子，以及亚干的儿女、牛、驴、羊、帐棚，和他所有的，都带着上到亚割谷[a]去。 25 约书亚说：“你为什么给我们招惹灾祸呢？今日耶和华必使你遭受灾祸。”于是以色列众人用石头打死他，用火焚烧他们，把石头扔在其上。 26 众人在亚干身上堆了一大堆石头，直存到今日。于是耶和华转意，不发他的烈怒。因此，那地方名叫亚割谷，直到今日。

24 约书亚和全体以色列人把谢拉家族的亚干、那些银子、衣服和金子及其儿女、牛、驴、羊、帐篷和一切所有都带到亚割谷。 25 约书亚对亚干说：“你为什么给我们惹祸呢？今天耶和华要降祸给你。”于是，以色列人便拿石头打死了他和他一切的人畜，将其烧毁。 26 他们在亚干身上堆起一大堆石头，那些石头今天还在。耶和华这才息怒，因此那地方至今还叫亚割[a]谷。

King James Version
24 And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them unto the valley of Achor.
25 And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the Lord shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones.
26 And they raised over him a great heap of stones unto this day. So the Lord turned from the fierceness of his anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of Achor, unto this day.
