10 那时，约书亚转回，夺了夏琐，用刀杀了夏琐王。先前夏琐在这些王国中是为首的。 11 以色列人用刀击杀城中所有的人，把他们完全灭尽；凡有气息的，没有留下一个。约书亚又用火焚烧夏琐。 12 约书亚夺了这些王的一切城镇，擒获了这些王，用刀杀了他们，把他们完全灭尽，正如耶和华的仆人摩西所吩咐的。

New International Version
10 At that time Joshua turned back and captured Hazor and put its king to the sword.(A) (Hazor had been the head of all these kingdoms.) 11 Everyone in it they put to the sword. They totally destroyed[a] them,(B) not sparing anyone that breathed,(C) and he burned(D) Hazor itself.
12 Joshua took all these royal cities and their kings and put them to the sword. He totally destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded.(E)
