3 耶路撒冷王亚多尼‧洗德派人去见希伯仑王何咸、耶末王毗兰、拉吉王雅非亚和伊矶伦王底璧，说： 4 “求你们上来帮助我，我们好攻打基遍，因为它与约书亚和以色列人立了和约。” 5 于是五个亚摩利王，就是耶路撒冷王、希伯仑王、耶末王、拉吉王和伊矶伦王，联合上去，率领他们所有的军队，对着基遍安营，要攻打基遍。

3 So Adoni-Zedek king of Jerusalem appealed to Hoham king of Hebron,(A) Piram king of Jarmuth,(B) Japhia king of Lachish(C) and Debir(D) king of Eglon.(E) 4 “Come up and help me attack Gibeon,” he said, “because it has made peace(F) with Joshua and the Israelites.”
5 Then the five kings(G) of the Amorites(H)—the kings of Jerusalem, Hebron, Jarmuth, Lachish and Eglon—joined forces. They moved up with all their troops and took up positions against Gibeon and attacked it.
