3 因此，耶路撒冷王亚多尼．洗德派人到希伯仑王何咸、耶末王毘兰、拉吉王雅非亚和伊矶伦王底璧那里去，对他们说： 4 “求你们上我这里来帮助我，我们好攻打基遍，因为基遍已经与约书亚和以色列人议和了。” 5 于是亚摩利人的那五个王，就是耶路撒冷王、希伯仑王、耶末王、拉吉王和伊矶伦王，联合起来，带着他们所有的军队上去，在基遍的对面安营，攻打基遍。

3 So Adoni-Zedek king of Jerusalem appealed to Hoham king of Hebron,(A) Piram king of Jarmuth,(B) Japhia king of Lachish(C) and Debir(D) king of Eglon.(E) 4 “Come up and help me attack Gibeon,” he said, “because it has made peace(F) with Joshua and the Israelites.”
5 Then the five kings(G) of the Amorites(H)—the kings of Jerusalem, Hebron, Jarmuth, Lachish and Eglon—joined forces. They moved up with all their troops and took up positions against Gibeon and attacked it.
