12 難道你比我們的先祖雅各更大嗎？他給我們留下了這口井。他自己、他的子孫、他的牲畜都喝這井裡的水！」
13 耶穌回答說：「所有喝這水的人，還會再渴。 14 但如果有人喝了我給他的水，就絕不乾渴，直到永遠。不但如此，我給他的水將要在他裡面成為泉源，一直湧流到永恆的生命。」

12 Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well(A) and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his livestock?”
13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.(B) Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water(C) welling up to eternal life.”(D)
