²因為真理住在我們裡面，也將與我們同在，直到永遠。

³從父神和父的兒子耶穌基督^[a]而來的恩典、憐憫、平安，在真理和愛中，將與我們同在。

⁴我極其歡喜，因為我看見你的兒女當中有人照著我們從父所領受的命令，在真理中行事^[b]。

²because of the truth,^(A) which lives in us^(B) and will be with us forever:

³Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ,^(C) the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and love.

⁴It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth,^(D) just as the Father commanded us.

²For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.

³Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

⁴I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.
