9 凡從 神生的，不犯罪，因 神的道[a]存在他裏面，他也不能犯罪，因為他是由 神所生的。 10 這就顯明誰是 神的兒女，誰是魔鬼的兒女了。凡不行義的，不是出於 神，不愛他弟兄的，也是如此。
彼此相愛
11 我們要彼此相愛。這就是你們從起初所聽到的信息。

New International Version
9 No one who is born of God(A) will continue to sin,(B) because God’s seed(C) remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10 This is how we know who the children of God(D) are and who the children of the devil(E) are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love(F) their brother and sister.(G)
