⁸你要常常誦讀這律法書，晝夜不斷地思想，以便謹遵律法書上的一切指示。這樣，你必亨通、順利。 ⁹我再次吩咐你，要剛強勇敢！不要害怕，也不要灰心，因為你無論走到哪裡，你的上帝耶和華必與你同在。」

¹⁰於是，約書亞吩咐民眾的首領說：

Joshua 1:8-10

New International Version

⁸Keep this Book of the Law^(A) always on your lips;^(B) meditate^(C) on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.^(D) ⁹Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid;^(E) do not be discouraged,^(F) for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”^(G)

¹⁰So Joshua ordered the officers of the people:^(H)
