¹¹你且伸手毀他一切所有的，他必當面棄掉你。」 ¹²耶和華對撒旦說：「凡他所有的都在你手中，只是不可伸手加害於他。」於是撒旦從耶和華面前退去。

¹¹倘若你伸手毁坏他拥有的一切，他必当面亵渎你。” ¹²耶和华对撒旦说：“好吧，他的一切都在你手中，但不可伤害他。”撒旦便从耶和华面前退去。

¹³有一天，约伯的儿女正在长兄家吃喝，

¹¹But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has,^(A) and he will surely curse you to your face.”^(B)

¹²The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has^(C) is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.”^(D)

Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
