Deuteronomy 4:47-49

New King James Version

⁴⁷And they took possession of his land and the land ^(A)of Og king of Bashan, two kings of the Amorites, who were on this side of the Jordan, toward the ^[a]rising of the sun, ⁴⁸^(B)from Aroer, which is on the bank of the River Arnon, even to Mount ^[b]Sion (that is, ^(C)Hermon), ⁴⁹and all the plain on the east side of the Jordan as far as the Sea of the Arabah, below the ^(D)slopes of Pisgah.

⁴⁸From Aroer, which is by the bank of the river Arnon, even unto mount Sion, which is Hermon,

⁴⁹And all the plain on this side Jordan eastward, even unto the sea of the plain, under the springs of Pisgah.

⁴⁷They took possession of his land and the land of Og king of Bashan, the two Amorite kings east of the Jordan. ⁴⁸This land extended from Aroer^(A) on the rim of the Arnon Gorge to Mount Sirion^[a]^(B) (that is, Hermon^(C)), ⁴⁹and included all the Arabah east of the Jordan, as far as the Dead Sea,^[b] below the slopes of Pisgah.
