3 He rebuilt the high places his father Hezekiah had demolished; he also erected altars to the Baals and made Asherah poles.(A) He bowed down(B) to all the starry hosts and worshiped them. 4 He built altars in the temple of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, “My Name(C) will remain in Jerusalem forever.” 5 In both courts of the temple of the Lord,(D) he built altars to all the starry hosts.

3 For he rebuilt the [a]high places which Hezekiah his father had (A)broken down; he raised up altars for the Baals, and (B)made wooden images; and he worshiped (C)all [b]the host of heaven and served them. 4 He also built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, (D)“In Jerusalem shall My name be forever.” 5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven (E)in the two courts of the house of the Lord.
