以色列的後裔
2 以色列的兒子是呂便、西緬、利未、猶大、以薩迦、西布倫、 2 但、約瑟、便雅憫、拿弗他利、迦得、亞設。
猶大的後裔
3 猶大的兒子是珥、俄南和示拉。這三人是迦南人書亞的女兒生的。猶大的長子珥在耶和華眼中是個邪惡的人，因而被耶和華擊殺了。 4 猶大的兒媳她瑪給猶大生了法勒斯和謝拉。猶大共有五個兒子。 5 法勒斯的兒子是希斯崙和哈姆勒。 6 謝拉的五個兒子是心利、以探、希幔、甲各、大拉。 7 迦米的兒子是亞干，這亞干私藏本該毀滅的東西，連累了以色列人。 8 以探的兒子是亞撒利雅。

希斯崙的後裔

2 Ito ang mga anak ni Jacob: Ruben, Simeon, Levi, Juda, Isacar, Zebulun, 2 Dan, Jose, Benjamin, Neftali, Gad, at Asher. 3 Ang mga anak ni Juda kay Bat-sua na isang Canaanita ay sina Er, Onan at Sela. Ang panganay niyang si Er ay naging masama sa paningin ni Yahweh kaya ito'y pinatay. 4 Sina Peres at Zera naman ang naging mga anak niya kay Tamar na kanyang manugang, kaya limang lahat ang anak ni Juda.
5 Ang mga anak ni Peres ay sina Hezron at Hamul. 6 Ang kay Zera naman ay sina Zimri, Etan, Heman, Calcol at Darda. Limang lahat ang naging anak ni Zera. 7 Anak(A) ni Zimri si Carmi. Ang anak naman ni Carmi na si Acan,[a] ang nagdulot ng malaking kapahamakan sa Israel dahil sa paglabag sa utos ng Diyos na may kinalaman sa mga bagay na itinakdang wasakin. 8 Si Azarias naman ay anak ni Etan.

9 Ang mga anak ni Hezron ay tatlo: sina Jerameel, Ram at Caleb. 10 Anak ni Ram si Aminadab na ama ni Naason, isang pinuno sa lipi ni Juda. 11 Anak ni Naason si Salma na ama naman ni Boaz. 12 Si Boaz ang ama ni Obed na ama naman ni Jesse. 13 Ang panganay na anak ni Jesse ay si Eliab, pangalawa si Abinadab at si Simea ang pangatlo. 14 Ang pang-apat ay si Netanel, panglima si Radai, 15 pang-anim si Ozem at pampito si David. 16 Dalawa ang kapatid nilang babae: sina Zervias at Abigail. Tatlo ang anak ni Zervias: sina Abisai, Joab at Asahel. 17 Ang anak naman ni Abigail ay si Amasa na ang ama ay si Jeter na isang Ismaelita.
Ang Lahi ni Hezron
18 Si Caleb na anak ni Hezron ay nagkaanak ng isang babae kay Azuba na ang pangalan ay Jeriot. Ang mga anak niyang lalaki ay sina Jeser, Sobab at Ardon. 19 Nang mamatay si Azuba, napangasawa ni Caleb si Efrata, at naging anak nila si Hur. 20 Si Hur ang ama ni Uri na siya namang ama ni Bezalel.
21 Nang si Hezron ay animnapung taon na, napangasawa niya ang anak ni Maquir na ama ni Gilead. Naging anak niya si Segub 22 na ama ni Jair, ang may-ari ng dalawampu't tatlong lunsod sa lupain ni Gilead. 23 Ngunit kinuha sa kanila nina Gesur at Aram ang mga Nayon ni Jair at ang Kenat, pati ang mga nayon nito. Lahat-lahat ay animnapung bayan. Ang lahat ng mamamayan dito'y buhat sa angkan ni Maquir na ama ni Gilead. 24 Pagkamatay ni Hezron, kinasama ni Caleb si Efrata na biyuda ng kanyang ama, at naging anak nila si Asur na nagtatag ng bayan ng Tekoa.
Ang Lahi ni Jerameel
25 Ito ang mga anak ni Jerameel, ang panganay ni Hezron: sina Ram, Buna, Orem, Ozem at Ahias. 26 Si Jerameel ay may isa pang asawa na Atara ang pangalan; siya ang ina ni Onam. 27 Ang panganay na anak ni Jerameel ay si Ram, at sina Maaz, Jamin at Equer ang mga anak nito. 28 Mga anak ni Onam sina Samai at Jada. Ang mga anak naman ni Samai ay sina Nadab at Abisur. 29 Asawa ni Abisur si Abihail at dalawa ang anak nila: sina Ahban at Molid. 30 Mga anak ni Nadab sina Seled at Apaim. Namatay si Seled na walang anak. 31 Anak ni Apaim si Isi at ang kay Isi naman ay si Sesan na ama ni Ahlai. 32 Ang mga anak ni Jada na kapatid ni Samai ay sina Jeter at Jonatan. Namatay na walang anak si Jeter. 33 Ang mga anak ni Jonatan ay sina Pelet at Zaza. Ito ang mga anak at salinlahi ni Jerameel. 34 Mga babae lamang ang naging anak ni Sesan, ngunit siya'y may aliping Egipcio na Jarha ang pangalan. 35 Ipinakasal niya ito sa kanyang anak na dalaga at naging anak nila si Atai. 36 Si Atai ang ama ni Natan na ama naman ni Zabad. 37 Si Zabad ang ama ni Eflal na ama ni Obed. 38 Si Obed ang ama ni Jehu na ama naman ni Azarias. 39 Si Azarias ang ama ni Helez na ama ni Eleasa. 40 Si Eleasa ang ama ni Sismai na ama naman ni Sallum. 41 Si Sallum ang ama ni Jecamias na ama ni Elisama.
Ang Lahi ni Caleb
42 Ang anak na panganay ni Caleb na kapatid ni Jerameel ay si Mesa na ama ni Zif. Si Zif ay ama ni Maresa at anak naman ni Maresa si Hebron. 43 Ang mga anak ni Hebron ay sina Korah, Tapua, Requem at Sema. 44 Si Sema ang ama ni Raham na ama ni Jorqueam, at si Requem naman ang ama ni Samai. 45 Ang anak ni Samai ay si Maon na ama naman ni Beth-sur. 46 Naging asawang-lingkod ni Caleb si Efa, at nagkaanak sila ng tatlo: sina Haran, Moza at Gasez. Gasez din ang ngalan ng naging anak ni Haran. 47 Ang mga anak ni Jahdai ay sina Regem, Jotam, Gesam, Pelet, Efa at Saaf. 48 Kay Maaca, isa pang asawang-lingkod ni Caleb, nagkaanak siya ng dalawa: sina Seber at Tirhana. 49 Naging anak niya rito si Saaf na ama ni Madmana at si Seva na ama naman nina Macbena at Gibea. Ang babaing anak ni Caleb ay si Acsa.
50 Ito ang angkan ni Caleb: si Hur ang panganay na anak niya kay Efrata. Naging anak naman ni Hur sina Sobal na nagtatag ng Lunsod ng Jearim, 51 si Salma na nagtatag ng Bethlehem at si Haref na nagtatag ng Beth-gader. 52 Si Sobal ang ama ni Haroe, ang pinagmulan ng kalahati ng Menuho. 53 Kay Sobal din nagmula ang ilang angkang nanirahan sa Lunsod ng Jearim tulad ng mga Itrita, mga Putita, mga Sumatita, mga Misraita, mga Zorita at mga Estaolita. 54 Ang mga angkan naman ni Salma na nagtatag ng Bethlehem ay ang Netofatita, Atrot-bet-joab, at ang kalahati ng mga Manahatita at Zorita. 55 Ang angkan ng mga eskriba na tumira sa Jabes ay ang mga Tiratita, Simatita at Sucatita. Ito ang mga Kenita buhat sa Hamat, ang pinagmulan ng angkan ni Recab.

Israel’s Twelve Sons(A)
2 These were Israel’s sons: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, 2 Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
Judah’s Descendants(B)
3 Judah’s sons were Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him by Bathshua, a Canaanite woman. Yahweh considered Er, Judah’s firstborn, evil, so Yahweh killed Er. 4 Tamar, Judah’s daughter-in-law, gave birth to Judah’s sons Perez and Zerah. Judah had five sons in all.
5 Perez’s sons were Hezron and Hamul. 6 Zerah’s sons were Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara[a]—five in all. 7 Carmi’s son was Achar, who caused trouble for Israel by taking goods that were claimed by God. 8 Ethan’s son was Azariah.
9 The sons born to Hezron were Jerahmeel, Ram, and Chelubai. 10 Ram was the father of Amminadab. Amminadab was the father of Nahshon, leader of Judah’s people. 11 Nahshon was the father of Salma, and Salma was the father of Boaz. 12 Boaz was the father of Obed, and Obed was the father of Jesse. 13 Jesse was the father of Eliab (his firstborn), Abinadab (his second son), Shimea (his third son), 14 Nethanel (his fourth son), Raddai (his fifth son), 15 Ozem (his sixth son), and David (his seventh son). 16 Their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. Zeruiah’s three sons were Abishai, Joab, and Asahel. 17 Abigail was the mother of Amasa, whose father was Jether, a descendant of Ishmael.
18 Hezron’s son was Caleb. Caleb and his wife Azubah had a son named Jerioth. Her other sons were Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon. 19 After Azubah died, Caleb married Ephrath. She gave birth to Hur. 20 Hur was the father of Uri, and Uri was the father of Bezalel.
21 Afterwards, Hezron slept with the daughter of Machir, the man who first settled Gilead. Hezron had married her when he was 60 years old. She gave birth to Segub. 22 Segub was the father of Jair, who had 23 towns in Gilead. 23 Geshur and Aram captured Havvoth Jair with Kenath and its villages (60 cities in all). All of these people were descendants of Machir, the man who first settled Gilead. 24 After Hezron died in Caleb Ephrathah, Hezron’s wife Abijah gave birth to Ashhur, who first settled Tekoa.
25 Jerahmeel (the firstborn son of Hezron) fathered Ram (his firstborn), then Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah. 26 Jerahmeel had another wife. Her name was Atarah, and she was the mother of Onam.
27 The sons of Ram (the firstborn son of Jerahmeel) were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker. 28 Onam’s sons were Shammai and Jada. Shammai’s sons were Nadab and Abishur. 29 The name of Abishur’s wife was Abihail. She gave birth to Ahban and Molid. 30 Nadab’s sons were Seled and Appaim, but Seled died without children. 31 Appaim’s son was Ishi, and Ishi’s son was Sheshan, and Sheshan’s son was Ahlai. 32 The sons of Jada (Shammai’s brother) were Jether and Jonathan. Jether died without children. 33 Jonathan’s sons were Peleth and Zaza. These were the descendants of Jerahmeel.
34 Sheshan had no sons, but he had daughters. He had an Egyptian slave named Jarha. 35 Sheshan let Jarha marry one of his daughters. She gave birth to Attai. 36 Attai was the father of Nathan. Nathan was the father of Zabad. 37 Zabad was the father of Ephlal. Ephlal was the father of Obed. 38 Obed was the father of Jehu. Jehu was the father of Azariah. 39 Azariah was the father of Helez. Helez was the father of Eleasah. 40 Eleasah was the father of Sismai. Sismai was the father of Shallum. 41 Shallum was the father of Jekamiah. Jekamiah was the father of Elishama.
42 The descendants of Caleb (Jerahmeel’s brother) were his firstborn son Mesha, who first settled Ziph, and the sons of Mareshah, who first settled Hebron. 43 Hebron’s sons were Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema. 44 Shema was the father of Raham, who first settled Jorkeam. Rekem was the father of Shammai. 45 Shammai’s son was Maon, who first settled Beth Zur. 46 Ephah, Caleb’s concubine,[b] was the mother of Haran, Moza, and Gazez. Caleb’s daughter was Achsah. 50 These people were the descendants of Caleb.
The sons of Hur, the firstborn son of Ephrath, were Shobal, who first settled Kiriath Jearim, 51 Salma, who first settled Bethlehem, and Hareph, who first settled Beth Gadar. 52 Shobal, who first settled Kiriath Jearim, had these descendants: Haroeh, half of the Manahathites, 53 the families of Kiriath Jearim, the Ithrites, the Puthites, the Shumathites, and the Mishraites. From these people came the Zorahites and Eshtaolites.
54 The descendants of Salma, who first settled Bethlehem, were the Netophathites, Atroth, who first settled Beth Joab, half of the Manahathites, the Zorites, 55 and the families of scribes who lived at Jabez. These families were the people of Tira, Shimea, and Sucah. These people are the Kenites who came from Hammath. They first settled Beth Rechab.

10 Ram(O) was the father of
Amminadab(P), and Amminadab the father of Nahshon,(Q) the leader of the people of Judah. 11 Nahshon was the father of Salmon,[e] Salmon the father of Boaz, 12 Boaz(R) the father of Obed and Obed the father of Jesse.(S)
13 Jesse(T) was the father of
Eliab(U) his firstborn; the second son was Abinadab, the third Shimea, 14 the fourth Nethanel, the fifth Raddai, 15 the sixth Ozem and the seventh David. 16 Their sisters were Zeruiah(V) and Abigail. Zeruiah’s(W) three sons were Abishai, Joab(X) and Asahel. 17 Abigail was the mother of Amasa,(Y) whose father was Jether the Ishmaelite.
Caleb Son of Hezron
18 Caleb son of Hezron had children by his wife Azubah (and by Jerioth). These were her sons: Jesher, Shobab and Ardon. 19 When Azubah died, Caleb(Z) married Ephrath, who bore him Hur. 20 Hur was the father of Uri, and Uri the father of Bezalel.(AA)
21 Later, Hezron, when he was sixty years old, married the daughter of Makir the father of Gilead.(AB) He made love to her, and she bore him Segub. 22 Segub was the father of Jair, who controlled twenty-three towns in Gilead. 23 (But Geshur and Aram captured Havvoth Jair,[f](AC) as well as Kenath(AD) with its surrounding settlements—sixty towns.) All these were descendants of Makir the father of Gilead.
24 After Hezron died in Caleb Ephrathah, Abijah the wife of Hezron bore him Ashhur(AE) the father[g] of Tekoa.
Jerahmeel Son of Hezron
25 The sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron:
Ram his firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem and[h] Ahijah. 26 Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
27 The sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel:
Maaz, Jamin and Eker.
28 The sons of Onam:
Shammai and Jada.
The sons of Shammai:
Nadab and Abishur.
29 Abishur’s wife was named Abihail, who bore him Ahban and Molid.
30 The sons of Nadab:
Seled and Appaim. Seled died without children.

Ishi, who was the father of Sheshan.
Sheshan was the father of Ahlai.

43 The sons of Hebron:
Korah, Tappuah, Rekem and Shema. 44 Shema was the father of Raham, and Raham the father of Jorkeam. Rekem was the father of Shammai. 45 The son of Shammai was Maon(AH), and Maon was the father of Beth Zur.(AI)
46 Caleb’s concubine Ephah was the mother of Haran, Moza and Gazez. Haran was the father of Gazez.
47 The sons of Jahdai:

48 Caleb’s concubine Maakah was the mother of Sheber and Tirhanah. 49 She also gave birth to Shaaph the father of Madmannah(AJ) and to Sheva the father of Makbenah and Gibea. Caleb’s daughter was Aksah.(AK) 50 These were the descendants of Caleb.
The sons of Hur(AL) the firstborn of Ephrathah:
Shobal the father of Kiriath Jearim,(AM) 51 Salma the father of Bethlehem, and Hareph the father of Beth Gader.
52 The descendants of Shobal the father of Kiriath Jearim were:
Haroeh, half the Manahathites, 53 and the clans of Kiriath Jearim: the Ithrites,(AN) Puthites, Shumathites and Mishraites. From these descended the Zorathites and Eshtaolites.
54 The descendants of Salma:
Bethlehem, the Netophathites,(AO) Atroth Beth Joab, half the Manahathites, the Zorites, 55 and the clans of scribes[j] who lived at Jabez: the Tirathites, Shimeathites and Sucathites. These are the Kenites(AP) who came from Hammath,(AQ) the father of the Rekabites.[k](AR)
