⁸也把你們在聖靈裡的愛告訴了我們。

為屬靈增長祈求

⁹為此，我們自從聽到這事的那一天起，就不斷地為你們禱告和祈求：願你們藉著一切屬靈的智慧和悟性，能被神旨意的真正知識所充滿； ¹⁰好讓你們行事為人配得上主，凡事蒙他喜悅，在一切美善的工作中結出果子，在神的真正知識上不斷長進。

⁸and who also told us of your love in the Spirit.^(A)

⁹For this reason, since the day we heard about you,^(B) we have not stopped praying for you.^(C) We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will^(D) through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,^[a]^(E) ¹⁰so that you may live a life worthy^(F) of the Lord and please him^(G) in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,^(H)
