3 所以，你们若真与基督一同复活，就当求在上面的事，那里有基督坐在神的右边。 2 你们要思念上面的事，不要思念地上的事， 3 因为你们已经死了，你们的生命与基督一同藏在神里面。 4 基督是我们的生命，他显现的时候，你们也要与他一同显现在荣耀里。

5 所以要治死你们在地上的肢体，就如淫乱、污秽、邪情、恶欲和贪婪，贪婪就与拜偶像一样。 6 因这些事，神的愤怒必临到那悖逆之子。 7 当你们在这些事中活着的时候，也曾这样行过。 8 但现在你们要弃绝这一切的事，以及恼恨、愤怒、恶毒[a]、毁谤并口中污秽的言语。 9 不要彼此说谎，因你们已经脱去旧人和旧人的行为， 10 穿上了新人；这新人在知识上渐渐更新，正如造他主的形象。 11 在此并不分希腊人、犹太人，受割礼的、未受割礼的，化外人，西古提人，为奴的，自主的，唯有基督是包括一切，又住在各人之内。

12 所以，你们既是神的选民、圣洁蒙爱的人，就要存[b]怜悯、恩慈、谦虚、温柔、忍耐的心。 13 倘若这人与那人有嫌隙，总要彼此包容，彼此饶恕；主怎样饶恕了你们，你们也要怎样饶恕人。 14 在这一切之外，要存着爱心，爱心就是联络全德的。 15 又要叫基督的平安在你们心里做主，你们也为此蒙召，归为一体；且要存感谢的心。 16 当用各样的智慧，把基督的道理丰丰富富地存在心里[c]，用诗章、颂词、灵歌彼此教导，互相劝诫，心被恩感歌颂神。 17 无论做什么，或说话或行事，都要奉主耶稣的名，借着他感谢父神。
劝夫妇父子主仆各尽其分
18 你们做妻子的，当顺服自己的丈夫，这在主里面是相宜的。 19 你们做丈夫的，要爱你们的妻子，不可苦待她们。 20 你们做儿女的，要凡事听从父母，因为这是主所喜悦的。 21 你们做父亲的，不要惹儿女的气，恐怕他们失了志气。 22 你们做仆人的，要凡事听从你们肉身的主人；不要只在眼前侍奉，像是讨人喜欢的，总要存心诚实敬畏主。 23 无论做什么，都要从心里做，像是给主做的，不是给人做的。 24 因你们知道，从主那里必得着基业为赏赐，你们所侍奉的乃是主基督。 25 那行不义的必受不义的报应，主并不偏待人。

3 你們既然和基督一同復活了，就應當追求天上的事，那裡有坐在上帝右邊的基督。 2 你們要思想天上的事，而不是地上的事， 3 因為你們的舊生命已經死了，你們的新生命與基督一同藏在上帝裡面。 4 基督就是你們的新生命，祂顯現的時候，你們也必和祂一起在榮耀中顯現。
5 所以，你們要治死身上屬世的罪惡，如淫亂、污穢、邪情、惡慾和貪心，貪心就是拜偶像， 6 因為上帝的烈怒必臨到做這些事的悖逆之人。 7 你們過去也和他們一樣過著罪惡的生活， 8 但現在必須杜絕這一切的惡事，如怒氣、憤恨、惡毒、毀謗和污言穢語。 9 不要彼此說謊，因為你們已經脫去了舊人和舊的行為， 10 穿上了新人。這新人在知識上不斷更新，更像他的造物主。 11 從此，不再分希臘人、猶太人，受割禮的、未受割禮的，野蠻人、未開化的人[a]，奴隸和自由人，基督就是一切，並且貫穿一切。

3 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
21 Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
22 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God;
23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

3 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
5 Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 On account of these the wrath of God is coming.[a] 7 In these you once walked, when you lived in them. 8 But now put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and foul talk from your mouth. 9 Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old nature with its practices 10 and have put on the new nature, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. 11 Here there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scyth′ian, slave, free man, but Christ is all, and in all.
12 Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, and patience, 13 forbearing one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. 14 And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. 15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, as you teach and admonish one another in all wisdom, and as you sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

18 Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.[b] 19 Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them. 20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. 21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged. 22 Slaves, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing the Lord. 23 Whatever your task, work heartily, as serving the Lord and not men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you are serving the Lord Christ. 25 For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality.
