4 那位与我说话的天使又来唤醒我，像唤醒睡觉的人一样。 2 他问我：“你看见了什么？”
我说：“我看见一个纯金的灯台，上面有一个油碗，灯台上有七盏灯，每盏灯有七个灯芯。 3 灯台旁边有两棵橄榄树，左右各一棵。” 4 我问与我说话的天使：“主啊，这是什么意思？” 5 他说：“你不知道吗？”我说：“主啊，我不知道。”
6 他对我说：“这是耶和华对所罗巴伯讲的话。万军之耶和华说，‘不靠权势，不靠才能，乃靠我的灵。 7 大山啊，你算什么？你必在所罗巴伯面前化为平地。他必搬出那块封殿顶的石头，伴随着欢呼声——愿恩典、恩典归于这殿！’”
8 耶和华的话又传给了我，说： 9 “所罗巴伯的手奠立这殿的根基，他的手也必完成这项工程。那时你便知道是万军之耶和华差遣我到你们这里来的。 10 谁敢藐视这微不足道的日子？人们看见所罗巴伯手中拿着线锤时，就必欢喜。
“这七盏灯是耶和华遍察天下的眼睛。”
11 我又问天使：“灯台左右的两棵橄榄树是什么意思？” 12 然后我又问道：“流出橄榄油的两个金管旁边的两根橄榄枝是什么意思？” 13 他说：“你不知道吗？”我说：“主啊，我不知道。” 14 他说：“这是侍立在天下之主旁边的两位受膏者。”

我說：「我看見一個純金的燈臺，上面有一個油碗，燈臺上有七盞燈，每盞燈有七個燈芯。 3 燈臺旁邊有兩棵橄欖樹，左右各一棵。」 4 我問與我說話的天使：「主啊，這是什麼意思？」 5 他說：「你不知道嗎？」我說：「主啊，我不知道。」
6 他對我說：「這是耶和華對所羅巴伯講的話。萬軍之耶和華說，『不靠權勢，不靠才能，乃靠我的靈。 7 大山啊，你算什麼？你必在所羅巴伯面前化為平地。他必搬出那塊封殿頂的石頭，伴隨著歡呼聲——願恩典、恩典歸於這殿！』」
8 耶和華的話又傳給了我，說： 9 「所羅巴伯的手奠立這殿的根基，他的手也必完成這項工程。那時你便知道是萬軍之耶和華差遣我到你們這裡來的。 10 誰敢藐視這微不足道的日子？人們看見所羅巴伯手中拿著線錘時，就必歡喜。

4 The vision of the golden candlestick, and the exposition thereof.
1 And the Angel that talked with me, came again and waked me, as a man that is raised out of his sleep,
2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold, a [a]candlestick all of gold with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps therein, and seven [b]pipes to the lamps which were upon the top thereof,
3 And two olive trees over it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
4 So I answered and spake to the Angel that talked with me, saying, What are these my Lord?
5 Then the Angel that talked with me, answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my Lord.
6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto [c]Zerubbabel, saying, Neither by [d]an army nor strength, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
7 Who art thou, O [e]great mountain, before Zerubbabel? thou shall be a plain, and [f]he shall bring forth the headstone thereof, with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
8 Moreover, the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house: his hands shall also finish it, and [g]thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you.
10 For who hath despised the day of the [h]small things? but they shall rejoice, and shall see the stone of [i]tin in the hand of Zerubbabel: [j]these seven are the eyes of the Lord, which go through the whole world.
11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right and upon the left side thereof?
12 And I spake moreover, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches, which through the two golden pipes empty themselves into the gold?
13 And he answered me, and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my Lord.
14 Then said he, These are the two [k]olive branches, that stand with the ruler of the whole earth.

- Zechariah 4:2 Which was ever in the midst of the Temple, signifying that the graces of God’s spirit should shine there in most abundance, and in all perfection.
- Zechariah 4:2 Which conveyed the oil that dropped from the trees into the lamps, so that the light never failed: and this vision was to confirm the faithful that God had sufficient power in himself to continue his graces, and to bring his promise to pass though he had no help of man.
- Zechariah 4:6 Who was a figure of Christ and therefore this doctrine was directed to all the Church who are his body and members.
- Zechariah 4:6 He showeth that God’s power only is sufficient to preserve his Church, though he use not man’s help thereunto.
- Zechariah 4:7 He compareth the power of the adversaries to a great mountain, who thought the Jews nothing in respect of them, and would have hindered Zerubbabel, who represented Christ, whom the enemies daily labor to let in the building of his spiritual Temple, but all in vain.
- Zechariah 4:7 Though the enemies think to stay this building, yet Zerubbabel shall lay the highest stone thereof, and bring it to perfection, so that all the godly shall rejoice, and pray unto God that he would continue his grace and favor toward the Temple.
- Zechariah 4:9 Meaning, the Prophet, that I am Christ sent of my Father for the building and preservation of my spiritual Temple.
- Zechariah 4:10 Signifying, that all were discouraged at the small and poor beginnings of the Temple.
- Zechariah 4:10 Whereby he signifieth the plummet and line, that is, that Zerubbabel which represented Christ, should go forward with his building to the joy and comfort of the godly, though the world be against him, and though his for a while be discouraged, because they see not things pleasant to the eye.
- Zechariah 4:10 That is, God hath seven eyes: meaning, a continual providence, so that neither Satan nor any power in the world, can go about to bring anything to pass to hinder his work, Zech. 5:9.
- Zechariah 4:14 Which were ever green and full of oil, so that still they poured forth oil into the lamps: signifying, that God will continually maintain and preserve his Church, and endue it still with abundance and perfection of grace.

4 Pastaj engjëlli që fliste me mua u kthye dhe më zgjoi ashtu si zgjojnë dikë nga gjumi.
2 Dhe më pyeti: "Çfarë po shikon?". U përgjigja: "Ja, po shikoj një shandan krejt prej ari dhe që ka në majë një enë, mbi të cilën janë shtatë llampa me shtatë tuba për shtatë llampat që janë në majë.
3 Afër tyre janë dy ullinj, një në të djathtën e enës dhe tjetri në të majtën e saj".
4 Kështu nisa t’i them engjëllit që fliste me mua: "Imzot, ç’kuptim kanë këto gjëra?".
5 Engjëlli që fliste me mua u përgjigj dhe më tha: "Nuk e kupton se ç’duan të thonë këto gjëra?". Unë i thashë: "Jo, imzot".
6 Atëherë ai, duke u përgjigjur, më tha: "Kjo është fjala e Zotit drejtuar Zorobabelit: Jo për fuqinë dhe as për forcën, por për Frymën time," thotë Zoti i ushtrive.
7 "Kush je ti, o mali i madh? Përpara Zorobabelit ti do të bëhesh fushë. Dhe ai do ta bëjë gurin e majës së malit të shkojë përpara midis britmave: Mëshirë, mëshirë për të!!"".
8 Fjala e Zotit m’u drejtua përsëri, duke thënë:
9 "Duart e Zorobabelit kanë hedhur themelet e këtij tempulli dhe duart e tij do ta përfundojnë; atëherë do të pranosh që Zoti i ushtrive më ka dërguar te ju.
10 Kush ka mundur të përçmojë ditën e gjërave të vogla? Por ata të shtatë gëzohen kur shohin plumbçen në duart e Zorobabelit. Ata të shtatë janë sytë e Zotit që e përshkojnë gjithë dheun".
11 Unë u përgjigja dhe i thashë: "Këta dy ullinj në të djathtën dhe në të majtën e shandanit çfarë janë?".
12 Për herë të dytë nisa t’i them: "Çfarë janë këto dy degë ulliri që janë përbri dy prurësve prej ari nga rrjedh vaji i praruar?".
13 Ai m’u përgjigj dhe tha: "Nuk e kupton çfarë janë këto?". Unë u përgjigja: "Jo, imzot".
14 Atëherë ai më tha: "Këta janë dy të vajosurit që rrijnë afër Zotit të gjithë dheut".

The Gold Lampstand and the Two Olive Trees
4 Then the angel who talked with me returned and woke(A) me up, like someone awakened from sleep.(B) 2 He asked me, “What do you see?”(C)
I answered, “I see a solid gold lampstand(D) with a bowl at the top and seven lamps(E) on it, with seven channels to the lamps. 3 Also there are two olive trees(F) by it, one on the right of the bowl and the other on its left.”
4 I asked the angel who talked with me, “What are these, my lord?”
5 He answered, “Do you not know what these are?”
“No, my lord,” I replied.(G)
6 So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:(H) ‘Not(I) by might nor by power,(J) but by my Spirit,’(K) says the Lord Almighty.
7 “What are you, mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground.(L) Then he will bring out the capstone(M) to shouts(N) of ‘God bless it! God bless it!’”
8 Then the word of the Lord came to me: 9 “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation(O) of this temple; his hands will also complete it.(P) Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me(Q) to you.
10 “Who dares despise the day(R) of small things,(S) since the seven eyes(T) of the Lord that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone[a] in the hand of Zerubbabel?”(U)
11 Then I asked the angel, “What are these two olive trees(V) on the right and the left of the lampstand?”
12 Again I asked him, “What are these two olive branches beside the two gold pipes that pour out golden oil?”
13 He replied, “Do you not know what these are?”
“No, my lord,” I said.
14 So he said, “These are the two who are anointed(W) to[b] serve the Lord of all the earth.”
