约书亚大祭司
3 耶和华又让我看见约书亚大祭司站在祂的天使面前，撒旦站在约书亚的右边要控诉他。 2 耶和华对撒旦说：“撒旦啊，耶和华斥责你！拣选耶路撒冷的耶和华斥责你！这人岂不像从火中抽出来的一根柴吗？” 3 那时，约书亚穿着污秽的衣服站在天使面前。 4 天使对侍立在周围的说：“脱掉他污秽的衣服。”他又对约书亚说：“看啊，我已除掉你的罪，我要给你穿上华美的衣服。”
5 我说：“要给他戴上洁净的礼冠。”他们便给他戴上洁净的礼冠、穿上华美的衣服。那时，耶和华的天使站在旁边。
6 耶和华的天使告诫约书亚： 7 “万军之耶和华说，‘你若遵行我的道，谨守我的吩咐，便可以管理我的家，看守我的院宇。我必让你在这些侍立的天使中间自由出入。 8 约书亚大祭司啊，你和坐在你面前的同伴们听着，你们都是将来之事的预兆——我将使我仆人大卫的苗裔兴起。 9 看啊，这是我在约书亚面前安置的石头，它有七眼[a]，我要在上面刻上字，并在一天之内除掉这地方的罪。这是万军之耶和华说的。 10 到那天，你们将各自邀请邻居坐在葡萄树和无花果树下。这是万军之耶和华说的。’”

3 Potom mi ukázal velekněze Jošuu, jak stojí před Hospodinovým andělem; po pravici mu stál satan, [a] aby ho obviňoval. 2 Hospodin však satanovi řekl: „Ztrestej tě Hospodin, satane! Ztrestej tě Hospodin, který vyvolil Jeruzalém! Copak to není oharek vyrvaný z ohně?“ [b]
3 Jošua přitom stál před andělem oblečen do špinavých šatů. 4 Vtom znovu zazněl hlas a promluvil k těm, kdo stáli před ním: „Svlékněte mu ty špinavé šaty!“
Pak řekl Jošuovi: „Hle, snímám z tebe tvůj hřích a oblékám ti slavnostní roucho.“
5 Řekl jsem: „Vsaďte mu na hlavu čistý turban!“ [c] Vsadili mu tedy na hlavu čistý turban a oblékli mu roucha. Hospodinův anděl stál u toho.
6 Potom Hospodinův anděl začal Jošuu nabádat: 7 „Tak praví Hospodin zástupů: Budeš-li chodit po mých cestách a zachovávat, co jsem ti svěřil, staneš se správcem mého domu a strážcem mých nádvoří a daruji ti přístup mezi ty, kteří tu stojí.
8 Slyš tedy, veleknězi Jošuo, ty i tví druhové, kteří sedí před tebou: Tito muži jsou znamením, že už přivádím svého služebníka, Výhonek. [d] 9 Hle – kámen, který kladu před Jošuu, a na tom jednom kameni je sedm očí. Já sám na něj vyryji nápis, praví Hospodin, a hřích této země odstraním v jediném dni. 10 Toho dne, praví Hospodin zástupů, budete zvát své druhy k posezení ve stínu révy a fíkoví.“

Good News Translation
The Prophet's Vision of the High Priest
3 (A)In another vision the Lord showed me the High Priest Joshua standing before the angel of the Lord. And there beside Joshua stood Satan,[a] ready to bring an accusation against him. 2 (B)The angel of the Lord[b] said to Satan, “May the Lord condemn you, Satan! May the Lord, who loves Jerusalem, condemn you. This man is like a stick snatched from the fire.”
3 Joshua was standing there, wearing filthy clothes. 4 The angel said to his heavenly attendants, “Take away the filthy clothes this man is wearing.” Then he said to Joshua, “I have taken away your sin and will give you new clothes to wear.”
5 He commanded the attendants to put[c] a clean turban on Joshua's head. They did so, and then they put the new clothes on him while the angel of the Lord stood there.
6 Then the angel told Joshua that 7 the Lord Almighty had said: “If you obey my laws and perform the duties I have assigned you, then you will continue to be in charge of my Temple and its courts, and I will hear your prayers, just as I hear the prayers of the angels who are in my presence. 8 (C)Listen then, Joshua, you who are the High Priest; and listen, you fellow priests of his, you that are the sign of a good future: I will reveal my servant, who is called The Branch! 9 I am placing in front of Joshua a single stone with seven facets. I will engrave an inscription on it, and in a single day I will take away the sin of this land. 10 (D)When that day comes, each of you will invite your neighbor to come and enjoy peace and security, surrounded by your vineyards and fig trees.”
